He told me that it is because he had made an aggressive effort to learn the language. Some members of his family had not and were struggling. This just seems to be common sense.

Right. The language that works best for their student population is English. They need to learn to speak the language that will help them survive in the US. Teachers already understand that. In many areas, Latinos with sub-par English language skills have difficulty finding jobs. So, if they aren't learning English, Arabic is still one language. Somehow, you are distorting this. They can speak and read non-English languages at home. They will not lose other language skills. It is a waste and misdirection of resources of the education system.

Where was the defense of these women from the liberal establishment? Their concern for these womens rights? Clinton was their little sock-puppet. No indignation from the "womens groups" in return for shutting up, combing his hair, and voting their way. There will always be, from both parties, protection of their own and attack of the other.
