  1. "How man sex partners have you had in your life?" Zero. No "man sex" for me, no matter the "how". I mean... it's your question and everything...
  2. Talk about timing... there is a new RSL thread.
  3. Well he does continue to post those "ass of the month" threads.... Yes. I've noticed that none of the women are in the "mature" age bracket. I have noticed that all of the sales reps that I meet are women who resemble them. Apparently, middle-aged guys want to talk to them for any reason. If one of those women would run for elected office, I'd vote for her for Secretary of State. I see peace in the middle east if Miss January was there. "I will be signing the treaty if I see your boobies this once more"
  4. So, you guys have the same horoscope?
  5. I just figured if a guy is with a much younger woman, she's a whore. And if a guy is with a much older woman, she's a cougar. Go figure... "...that's different." See how easy that is? Remove all the logic from the discussion and apply a valueless phrase. At this point, conclude a return to reason by adding "Well, I am so done talking with you about this." I hope that Normiss isn't having moral qualms about dating younger women. Since he recently had another birthday, a lot more of them are younger.
  6. Women. They just can't stand the idea that an old guy died happy. And I am told that in accordance with his last wishes, he was buried face down between two large pillows. When a guy is living with younger women, then he is using them for "sexual gratification" and is a pig. When Demi Moore is living with a guy way younger than her, she is "empowered" by the "relationship". You just don't understand the operative phrase. "...that's different."
  7. Like I said, I'm not even sure what "sign" that I am. For the Chinese horoscope (done by year), I am a Sheep. See how easy that is? No one ever says, "Not me, I dumb as a box of hammers."
  8. During an online discussion, if the logic or the facts fail you - attack the spelling.
  9. ...and you are a Virgo. If the quote above was stated about anyone, I cannot imagine them refuting it. From my days as an astrology column writer for the school paper (I know nothing about astrology): Everyone agreed with that one.
  10. If Waffle House had done it, the Georgia interstate system would be vacant. They'd all be pulled off at the nearest exit.
  11. Creating a religion thread in Bonfire. It says not to do that at the top.
  12. I'd have to look. Probably, though, we don't do a lot of redecorating.
  13. People like to have a way of controlling their life. Somehow, life must have a set of rules and a path for success. If one understands the rules, then one can control the outcome. Astrology - a general understand of the direction and the pitfalls. "Be cautious when driving today." Religion - psychic communication will placate the omnipotent being and they will protect you. Reading the sacred book will tell you the future. Time would be better spent trying to actively pursue avenues that would change your life, rather than rolling chicken bones on the bottom of a wash tub.
  14. I think that people remain the same. That can be a problem. At 100 jumps, people haven't seen more of the varieties of issues. They can handle everything that they know about. They may not respect the sport enough yet. Two weekends ago, I saw 4 guys with an inflatable sheep. All with 25 to 150 jumps. I asked them what their plan was. - exit. Who is going to spot? Climbout? Grips? Exit method? - safety. Make sure that no one gets over the top. - dive. What formation? 5 way? - breakoff. Who holds it on breakoff? Breakoff altitude? Can you track holding it? The great thing is, they stopped and listened. Not everybody does. It was cool meeting them and jumping with them.
  15. I have a spot in my back yard for a bonfire. I have had idiots throw bottles and cans in it. Next day, scorched cans and broken glass in my back yard. Some people have to have it explained. Also, the paintball gun is not a good idea. Some of these people are just too willing. "Hey, did you just spit on the ground?" SMACK!
  16. There are many people who cannot argue an actual issue, but will, instead say, "You are a conservative". It is the same baseless argument as, "It's a gender/race/party/affiliation thing". A removal of a liberal program is considered to be a conservative change. During the Clinton administration, liberal programs from the Kennedy administration were removed. A few of the Kennedy policies were abandoned quickly by Johnson. Policies may be proposed by a party, but they have to be approved by the legislative branch - that has both parties. The best evaluation of policies is the effectiveness. Sociologists noted that 80% of the repeat felony crime is done by 20% of the criminals. In 1998, Gov Jeb Bush proposed the 10-20-Life law. 10 years - crime with a gun. 20 - gun is discharged. 25-life - injury. Result? In 6 years, population went up 15%, but crime went down 30%.
  17. Locally, a goat likes the cig butts for the buzz. I think it has gotten addicted to the nicotine. So, think about the kids.
  18. There are a lot of freefall learning tools like wind tunnels and the availabilty of video to review. People can get in a tunnel and practice skills with a super-fast learning curve. At the dz, an experienced coach can review a video and point out details that would take a person 200 more jumps to identify. People can acquire the knowledge a lot faster. When I ask people, "What is your special knowledge that was acquired between 100 and 1000 jumps?", people don't answer with a description of air-skills. It has to do with mental viewpoint. For me - - My enjoyment of the sport is more social than it was. - I choose different skills that I want to work on. - I appreciate advice a lot more because I understand that almost all people mean it with good intentions. What have you learned?
  19. She tried a number of campaign photos. This one actually backfired. edited to add NSFW
  20. Integrity Name one politician with integrity...... When my mom caught me doing something, I would say, "Well, everyone else was doing it." It turned out that I was wrong. I have never understood why the first defense of the Clintons is that their supporters do not expect their political figures to have character. The most disturbing opinion is the next one, that character does not matter. Corruption is expected. Yes, I do know political figures with character and worked in their campaign. I personally know career politicians who should have done jail time. The Clinton administration was spent reeling from one scandal to another. The Tammany Hall political machine was used during school as an example of corruption. It was the bad example and not excused by "everyone is doing it". You seem to accept as fact, as I do, that the Clintons are corrupt politicians. I just object to giving them another opportunity.
  21. Well, that's the problem, isn't it. The high paying manufacturing jobs have been exported, leaving lower paying jobs for those who can't do molecular biology (and similar). Nope, all your socks are being made in Honduras now.
  22. Integrity Uh well.... I was thinking a little more about her toughness and command of the facts. Everyone in the Senate, even her Republican rivals, respect her as a hard worker. In Tampa, people say the same thing about the Trafficante family or they end up in several crab traps.
