  3. After a fast visit to the NWA History Centre, it appears that a $20 membership is necessary to view the NWA Reflections newsletter and to buy items from the Centre. Is the above correct Georger? Robert99 I had no problem viewing them? http://www.nwahistory.org/newsletter.htm "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 5. "LE I would assume is Law Enforcement" your assumption is wrong. the local police (city) have jurisdiction in the city of a County, the Sheriff's dept. has jurisdiction over the entire County. the Highway Patrol has jurisdiction over the entire state. The DMV probably called the Highway Patrol and not the local police. any of the three mentioned above can arrest you for anything that is against the law. "Since the shop was in a private jurisdition and not in the county it require to policemen from that jurisdition and the HwyPatrolmen" wrong again, no such thing as "private jurisdiction", unincorporated is the proper term, these area's fall under County property and city limits. your statement above would not require 3 policemen to make an arrest. one Highway Patrolman could make the arrest, way back in the day the local police had to stop at the city limits when chasing someone, now (even the 90's) they radio ahead and continue pursuit. sounds like the Highway Patrol received the call and then notified the local police for back up, which is normal procedure. The Highway Patrol is strung out all over the State making more sense to have the local police involved in this matter. yes times are changing, in Broward County the Sheriff passed a law that now grants local city police to pull over traffic violations outside city limits but within County lines. his statement was that he was tired of hearing the local police complain about being given the finger on the road outside the city limits any given officer was getting.... 6. Oct 11, 2012, 1:56 PM Post #36789 of 40177 (734 views) Shortcut Registered: Nov 12, 2006 Posts: 5283 On 3/08/90 Duane presented himself and some documents to the Santa Rosa County Drivers License Dept - He was turned away because the documents were insuffient to obtain a drivers license under the name of John C. Collins. On 3/09/90 A Hwy Patrol man knocked on my door and presented a picture of Duane on a laminated card the size of a drivers license. He wanted to know if I knew the man - I said yes, but asked what this was all about. He explained that the man had tried to obtain a drivers license under the name of John Collins but was refused because of insuffient photo identification. They became suspicious and followed him but lost him after the reach another county. They traced the tag and thought he might be my father. I explained it was NOT my father, but my husband and he was 17 yrs older than myself and had just gone on the kidney machine. They asked me if I knew where he was and I lied (not well) that I didn't know. I immediately got into my vehicle and went to Pensacola and the shop on Creighton. I told him what had happened and before he could explain - 2 local officers and s Patrolman entered the building. Duane immediately put both hands on the desk....cussing me for turning him in. I told him I knew nothing about this and I was there to find out. They must have followed me. Highway Patrol has State wide jurisdiction and would not require any other LE.... 7. this is from a couple months ago.... Oct 22, 2012, 7:16 PM Post #37080 of 40176 (685 views) Shortcut Registered: Nov 12, 2006 Posts: 5283 They knocked on my door the next day and I told them I didn't know were he was. I suspected he was at the SHOP and got into my car and drove directly there. BECAUSE of my name they thought he was MY FATHER. Within moments the 2 policeman and the Highway Patrol walked into the shop . Duane immediately put both hands on the desk. THESE law enforcement like myself did NOT know he had ALREADY obtained the John Collins drivers license the same day he left the Santa Rosa Office. This was NOT known to the FBI and only known to me 2 yrs AFTER I contacted them 1 yr and 2 month after Duane died. 8. I will admit they should have shown you what they have, but again this is a crime about a hijacking that may or may not have been linked to Duane, if this was a murder case of someone in your Family, yes they would probably provide more information. I still think you need to find a way to get a PI to contact the FBI and find some answers for you. I know the money problems, but surely there is a way.... 9. this coming from a guy who claims Mac is alive, then years ago states he gave you a picture before he died? which time was that? the FBI "fake death" or the death of Mac you claimed in 2006, or the resurrection of Mac in the 2000's Knoss meet Jo...... " These are facts. You can't prove or disprove them" then they are indeed not facts Bobby! facts can be proven. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  10. I know all to much about sales Jo, the question is, how did he get to Oregon? I don't need to go back to school, perhaps you could use a lesson in investigating? 18 years Jo? when is your education going to kick in and solve this? it's the way you approach things Jo, just like gong off on Robert99, then begging for an apology? the only thing he got wrong is the fact of one cop at your door and two cops in Pensacola.... you have so much anger in you Jo, are you at ease with yourself? I have read a lot of the thread and see the same things being brought up about you and your actions. I see to many things against Duane being Cooper. as long as you post things, people have a right to comment about them...period! "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  11. show me the deception Jo, I ask simple questions and get nothing but abuse from you. I don't see any problems with checking leads, but you try to make a lead reality! I have never called you a liar, I simply don't believe Weber is Cooper, plain and simple. you have now decided to attack me personally for some reason because I confront your evidence from what I gather. I don't think you have a clue as to what you are doing, that's how I see it, and I will speak with authority on that comment! name calling and anger in more of your style Jo, not mine, just by looking at Duane's W-2's tells me he was nowhere near Washington or Oregon, 1971 he was in Columbia S.C. if not mistaken, did Duane have a job paying under the table in the WA area? did Duane drive, fly or walk to Washington, who took care of Duane financially while in Washington, that's proof you should be looking for, not fabric shopping! what about the advice Robert99 gave you about getting Duane's records? I have yet to see anything linking Duane to the crime area other than prison. you want to blame the FBI for not checking the story out in full? what do you want from them? Blevins does the same by deciding to take over the investigation for the FBI, you guys must be keeping them busy with all of your new found evidence you guys send them. angry? hardly, how about reality for starters! I'm sorry Jo, you don't need 17 years to see things not adding up! "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 12. what I do outside of this thread is really nobody's biz, since you wish for me to air my laundry I can tell you this, work is starting to pick up once again (not hurricane shutters) I do about 40% of my work on the computer at home (engineering drawings, promo video etc) I noticed that you removed several of your post's about the Ultraseude? especially the one where you claimed "busting the case wide open" you made serveral request about the pingers as well as where the were positioned. "377 made a post about pingers and then some one provided a link to the designer of the pingers and how they were put into the chutes in the 60's." "Please find the article about the chutes and the pinger and how they were put into the backpacks. With padding and with UltraSuede." then you said you knew who invented the Ultrasuede and he worked with trying to put them into the packs. name of Scott but could of changed it...... "I spoke about a man who invented Ultrasuede and used it inside of the Chutes backpack to provide a place for the pingers and the tested this. " 377 then responded to not being able to find anything linking this. so I started my search and made my postings in which you once again disagreed about who invented them causing me more research. "Maybe it was something thicker like Fleece - to me that makes MORE sense than Ultrasuede." this whole ordeal started with you jumping to conclusions by stating that you wanted information on who invented Ultrasuede, not Fleece, perhaps you can tell me again how it's me not understanding..... I see absolutely nothing wrong with my findings or my posting..... "Your postings as of recent are alarming and that is a concern" I can't say anything more than shocked as to how you come to these conclusions? anger? where in the world is any anger in my postings, none of this is worth getting angry over Jo.......I thought I was very honest in several of my postings Jo..... 13. well, you have called me a jerk, troll, creep among other things, I would call it insulting, I don't proclaim anything, I have common sense and search skills that could be above or below others that post on here, I'm not here to degrade anyone, I'm here to try and resolve issue's connected to this crime. I don't have any certificates on my wall giving me authority over anyone! I enjoy researching things, especially if someone can't find what they are looking for, makes me feel good helping someone in need. when evidence has been placed on the table for viewing, it's up to someone to look into this evidence, I have explained myself many times in the past of not being perfect or correct 100% of the time, most call that human over authority! It's very hard to be nice to you Jo, you are very stubborn when it comes to anything negative in your research, this makes it extremely hard to converse with you when calling out anything you claim... I am not insulting anyone's memory showing anything that I found on Ultrasuede, FYI, I drink about 4 to 6 times a year thank You... 14. Perhaps I have not made myself clear. It was NOT the pinger if that is even what it was called, it was what my search took me to.The names of 2 men - one of which was known to me, but not known to me. I do not expect you to understand that so I will only make one attempt. One can know of someone thru memory of a discussion, but NOT associate that name the way it was pronouced or used until it is seen within written context that correlated with the verbal conversation - with many yrs separating the two incidents. Try to understand what I have said above - please! We do not need a long discussion debating my memories. If you wish to "attack" my explanation there are P.M.s where is my "attack" Jo? I am simply applying references to your claims! when someone (anyone) makes a post, the normal thing to do is research that post! I don't need to "PM" anyone when responding to a post..... I don't call you names and yet you constantly launch verbal assaults on me or anyone who disagree's with you. when someone lays claims of busting a case wide open! you can bet I'll be right there checking into it for validation. having a one sided investigation is no way to get things done properly, Criticism seems to be your worse enemy.... 15. " I got the impression it was close to the body and comfort was a concern. " well, I don't understand what this product has to do with Pingers and comfort? or how it would "Bust the case wide open"? we have heard from jumpers that pockets already exist and don't really need upgraded...... to date there is zero evidence of any electronics used in this crime... 16. well, Toray has this product trademarked, they are a 16 billion dollar company. "its creator and it's uses prior to becoming a popular fabric" Toray and Dr. Miyoshi Okamoto would be in big trouble if they took this idea from someone and lay claim to this product, no such thing as something being used prior to becoming a popular fabric, that would be infringement. In 1970, after years of experimentation, Toray Industries scientist Dr. Miyoshi Okamoto succeeded in creating the world's first ultra-microfiber. A few months later, his colleague Dr. Toyohiko Hikota perfected a new process capable of transforming Dr. Okamoto's invention into an amazing new fabric, a non-woven material that combined luxury with unprecedented performance. This fabric, which was later trademarked as Ultrasuede® clearly no getting around who invented this material.......someone could have had a similar product, but it was not called Ultrasuede in 1971. they were still in the experimental stages in the 60's which means nobody was aware of this product or it's name (Ultrasuede) "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 17. NOR was I told that an employee of Toray invented ultrasuede, but it seems that on the computer sites - they are given credit for it. I understood it to be a man with last name Scott. His name was NOT always Scott, but a German name... The man listed on a site is NOT the name I was given. The man I found was Not foreign and was born in America. It's also on there website, this would be a huge mistake if they were taking credit for something they didn't invent and publicizing it for profit. http://www.ultrasuede.com/about/science.html "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 19. I have an NB-6 container that was manufactured in the 1980s. It also has a small pouch inside the container and I could not figure out what it was for. So I assume that it was also for holding a small survival kit. Correct? Robert99 I couldn't find a pic with the beacon in the pack, here is some pics of them and a survival kit. I have now gotten my NB-6 container out of the garage and taken some measurements. The container was manufactured 3/88 and the pocket in question is mounted on the right side and would be completely enclosed in the container when it is packed with a parachute. The pocket is about 10.5 inches long, about 1.5 inches wide, and 1.5 inches high. There are 0.75 inch diameter holes in each side of the pocket and they are centered about 3.0 inches from the top of the pocket. The pocket is closed by a zipper fastener. A flap is sewn on the right side of the pocket and covers the zipper and is secured on the left side by a nomex closure. Robert99 Ebay has one for sale.......some decent pics on it... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=nb-6+parachute&_sacat=0&_from=R40 NB-8 Pioneer http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pioneer-NB8-Backpack-Parachute-/310185888601?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4838850b59 "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 22. Ultrasuede is the trade name for a synthetic microfiber fabric invented in 1970 by Dr. Miyoshi Okamoto, a scientist working for Toray Industries. In Japan it is sold under the brand name Ecsaine. It was the world's first ultra-microfiber. It is often described as an artificial substitute for suede leather. The fabric is multifunctional: it is used in fashion, interior decorating, automotive and other vehicle upholstery, and industrial applications, such as protective fabric for electronic equipment. It is also a very popular fabric in the manufacture of footbags (also known as hacky sacks). Other manufacturers such as Sensuede and Majilite also produce similar product lines of synthetic microfiber suede construction. 25. Thanks Matt, it all makes sense until you read what Jo states? "The file is CLASSIFIED! I saw that on the screen myself. The guy has to go get a special code and then when he goes to the file tells me I am not a listed beneficiary. I explain I was only 3 yrs old in 1943 - and did not meet and marry my husband until 1978...and that I need some records. He just repeated "CLASSIFIED" - if you fill out these papers they will send you the records - but he was just pacifing me because ALL I got was a DUPILICATE of the other item I had, but it did have a close date as the first one did not."
