Feb 7, 2011, 10:02 PM Post #21992 of 41882 (1212 views) Jo wrote: Quote If I could believe Mafia was involved it would explain the accident I had in 2000 (an accident that I later believed to have been staged). Had I not have have been a cautious driver and have hesitated I would have died and if I had survived I was told I would have wished I wasn't alive. 4 inches saved my life, but left me with injuries I suffer from today - but the accident was made to look like I caused it. Jo, This borders on paranoia. If someone wanted you dead there are far more reliable and less traceable means to accomplish it. There have been staged accidents, but they are insurance scams, not hits. You may have been the victim of such a scam. There was a ring busted in LA in the 80s that did this numerous times using several cars to force an innocent driver into colliding with one of the scammers' cars. A sharp Highway Patrol officer figured it out. Were you listed as being at fault in the police report? Which is more likely: 1. Jo was actually at fault. 2. The accident was staged to make it appear that Jo was at fault? 3. Jo wasn't at fault but it appeared that she was with no staging involved? Why not scan the police report, post it here and after doing that show us where it is in error? If it was actually staged my money is on insurance scam not a botched mafia hit. 377 Jo responds: I no longer have the report and I took the blame - as I had never had an accident before...I just accepted it, but was NOT parnoid about it. Just something that should NOT have happened when it did and how it did. Reading Nuttall's book was reason for me to revisit my feelings about the accident... but I do not and did not dwell on it. I will admit to having a FLASH Back after reading Nuttall's book. The injuries from that accident still plague me and will for the rest of my life. Just as the injuries from the co-pilots accident will plague him. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' Jo, Adult criminal convictions and the resulting sentences are public records. It may not have been polite, but how was it unethical? 377 17 years trying to prove him guilty of Kidnapping, Extortion and Hijacking. and she gets bent out of shape over exposing his past guilt?????? I will remember to do so next time. Thanks. Yellow X is placed where his pen is pointing - just below Heisson, an area Sluggo was interested in ... If you watch it in slow mo, he moved the pen further up. I thought it was possible to be a cargo drop for firefighters possibly during a training exercise? The guy in the espresso/ Ice Creme seems to be pointing in the direction of Ariel. (see photo) The lines do appear to be larger than a personal chute as Robert99 said. Something tells me we are still not done with the Amboy chute. Maybe it belonged to Lindberg ? or maybe Earhart's I think it's a cargo chute if you ask me. but, you never know??? here is another short vid.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2wL8Y2S-Ko "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' I took my sim up for a test today, I wanted to see how the system adjusted to the new computer. It seems to be flawless on the first flight to Toledo! I was able to match things according to the transcripts. level at 10,000 speed about 170 fuel flow around 4500 from past testing we noticed the plane had to go faster before it reached the 14 mile mark. Transcripts do say we have her down to about 160. if I maintain a speed of 200 during the 7,000 climb I make the 14 mile mark and all others with the exception of the 19 mile mark. does any of this make sense? I didn't include all the things done during the leg of the flight. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' Robert, how did you conclude that jump point? do you realize where this is on a map? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

Could be almost anything... Was usually an old POS chute or rags, the idea was to use it as a 'training aid'. It would have had the size, shape & weight of a normal front mounted reserve with the exception that it was probably sewn shut, or rigged in a manner NOT to open. They were used to train people how to pull the ripcord...the ripcord would come out as on a 'normal' parachute but the container itself wouldn't flop open allowing the contents to spill out...taking time to 're-pack' for the next drill. Most I've seen were placarded with huge lettering "FOR TRAINING USE ONLY" or "TRAINING AID" or "DO NOT JUMP" Thanks for the info, wasn't sure if they sacrificed a real chute for accuracy.... Believe it or not, I am of the same thought regarding the chute. I just had some real problems with the way it was investigated by the Seattle FBI. Still do. Quickie points: 1) Sea/FBI says no markings on the chute. Later, they retract. Points to offhand investigation perhaps. 2) They say they think it's from a Dec 1945 jump, but chute was made later, according to DOM tag. 3) They accepted (and went public with) Cossey's silk-not-nylon story with no named outside confirmation. 4) Suddenly announced they would no longer discuss the chute. 5) These things do not generate confidence in their conclusions regarding the chute. Just saying. just some advice Robert, tone down a bit about what you know, and what you think you know. I don't know everything, nor do I present it that way, lots of people look at you as trying to be on top! no body is on top here, but, they do listen to valid information, some is right, some is wrong. don't try to be an expert, or come off as one! Lets go thru some evidence, evaluate it and discuss it, most people will respond better that way. no need to contact the FBI on every theory that comes on the thread. just a thought in order to try and get things rolling???? I would like to see more posters on here.......... "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' "I didn't necessarily believe the Amboy chute was Cooper's." These are the thoughts of many, I am very skeptical about the chute. all stones must be unturned before moving forward........ I did get the simulator back up and running, I chickened out and got a Gforce GT 640 2 gig video card which works great on the system. I'll be back in the air for testing by tomorrow "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' Jo, I posted the points to where the chute is supposed to be. look at this map again, note the red dot beside the writing of the 2010 mark. that is the position..... sorry, better map here "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' was talking about spreading misinformation. I posted this only after talking with someone, I am aware of what you have done I have looked into this years back, but never had coords. this is news to a lot of peeps, so I believe this calls for the "Infant Stage" no? let things soak in a little...... Your investigation into the chute is in the infant stage. I started checking out the FBI's story on it more than a year ago...

" Finding a buried chute two miles off the flight path " hold up them horses fella, it's a little more than two miles. this is all in it's infant stage, no need to jump thru hoops yet... don't see any hardware on it..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAW80de3EUk "I don't think it was DBCs chute because of the age and type, but I can't rule it out. It would be INSANE to have packed a twill (non ripstop) canopy in an emergency bailout rig in 1971." who really knows what they packed in the container? maybe they put it in the container hoping it would fail? just a thought....
