  1. "SSE as it passed over the Merwin Lake area" you need to look at the flight path again! Rataczak stated he knows when Cooper jumped. we have a time frame and a questionable path. they base it on the time frames of the path and when the pilot reported the pressure bump. they think they have the area where he jumped, only if the path is correct. if the path is incorrect, then when he jumped doesn't matter does it? your map is a very bad example....sorry. 2. The only problem I see with planting the money is the fact of the FBI not having a clue from get go where Cooper landed. why would Cooper plant money when they don't have a clue where he is alive or dead. if they were hot on his trail maybe a plant would be a good thing to do. The FBI only give the most probable place he jumped based on what the pilots said, other than that, we have zero proof he jumped. no chute no briefcase, nothing. 40+ years later, the plane is gone, 95% of the money is gone, briefcase, money bag and Cooper are still at large. what would really be interesting to find is the computer cards for radar data! I believe that would be a hot item about now! "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 3. "I like many others will be moving on" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXGhvoekY44 denial at it's best" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qc2hQUGHXP4 I would be Tom Cruise... 4. I think the moderator and the DZ would consider your post above not only inappropriate, but a threat. The OLD original DZ owners & moderators would have addressed the post above made by Mrshutter immediately. Never has the Cooper thread been allowed to get this far out of hand! this is exactly how you misread things Jo! where is the threat in those two sentences? do you even know what that means? you are amazing to say the least Jo! Denial: which a person is faced with a fact that is too uncomfortable to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence. ring a bell? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  5. "I like many others will be moving ON" If you can't handle "posters" on here, how do you expect to confront the FBI? you call it hostile, I call it evidence that was found and presented. every time you are challenged you become another person with name calling and long posts!! conflict, disagreements go hand in hand while getting to the bottom of a subject, story etc. there should be no reason what so ever for you to act the way you do..... moving on? your not fooling anyone! "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  6. Blevins, What does the above have to do with the accuracy of the results presented on the CZ site? Or anything else for that matter? Robert99 who writes the information on Newsvine? still has error's that were pointed out months ago.... " It was valued at around $300,000 and left to his family in Minnesota." 'J.C. Penney clip-on tie and tie tac left behind on the plane" The Tie CLIP has never been proven to be from JC Penny's. he needs to worry about his own accuracy IMO.... 7. "I have explained he DID NOT exist. Note how he stands and how Duane stands - try to stand that way your self if U are right handed - doesn't work. Works only if you are left handed." world population is just over 7 billion, 10% are left handed (700 million) millions & millions put there hands on there hips Jo. you wish to split hairs? Duane has a distinctive way he stands, his legs are bowed top to bottom vs from the side like others who are bow legged? what exactly are your grounds of Marvin Doerkson not existing? I have found his name on several sites referencing him to camps none of Duane Weber? Weber is the one who doesn't exist with this information! you say you have spoken with his family, but I don't see any evidence of this other than your word. his name is also listed in "Mennonite Weekly Review obituaries" the site below seems to be the place to find info on Marvin. http://www.swarthmore.edu/library/peace/DG001-025/dg025CCW/PartII/PartII.SeriesD-S1.htm https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1280&bih=653&q=hands+on+hips&oq=hands+on+hips&gs_l=img.3..0l10.1789.6099.0.6291.13.12.0.1.1.0.86.850.12.12.0...0.0...1ac.1.8.img.LuXAV5WbDi4 you just can't take things at face value Jo......try and be mature with your response.... 8. Jo, Kaye can easily be found right here, why don't you ask him yourself and show the findings? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  9. Jo, the FBI is not a 411 system for information on a case. "So IF the FBI wants to dispell this - then TELL me WHERE WEBER WAS 1962 to 1966" how about where was Duane the week of November 24, 1971? not where he was in 59,60,61,62,66,68,69,70 "The Duerksen (how it was spelled in at least by some). " I doubt that Jo, why would it be spelled different? Deorkson vs Duerksen...why would that be? you need to go to the FBI yourself and finish this once and for all..... being on here year after year arguing is getting you nowhere..... 10. his wife is still alive, why didn't you contact her? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  11. Jo, I'm not trying to make your life miserable, but facts are facts! "turned it into one of those - sites that are mean and not nice at all...NOT some place I want to be." are you really going to use that card? "I had an offer to go public and right now I think I shoud DO IT. " just be ready for the new age of computer geeks!!! 12. of course they did................ quick check on Marvin, he is real.... "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  13. the picture seems to not be Duane.......my guess is Duane was a bit of a story teller!! also the other pic Jo is showing is not Duane either!! http://civilianpublicservice.org/camps/31/1 "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  14. the picture Jo is showing is right on Wikipedia's site. the other question is, why would Duane be in a CPS after being in the service twice??? "The Civilian Public Service (CPS) provided conscientious objectors in the United States an alternative to military service during World War II. From 1941 to 1947. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilian_Public_Service "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 15. look out for that.......................truck guy yells out "don't land on my truck" "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  16. would this photo help decide the type of material? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  17. here is some interesting info.... 1941- SMOKEJUMPERS PARACHUTE "THE EAGLE" IS CHANGED FROM RIP CORD TO STATIC LINE. THE FS-1 PARACHUTE, A 28’ FLAT CIRCULAR CANOPY WITH DERRY SLOTS AND GUIDELINES ATTACHED TO THE SKIRT AND CONNECTOR LINKS, IS PLACED IN SERVICE. THE COLOR IS CHANGED FROM ALL WHITE TO ALTERNATING ORANGE AND WHITE PANELS IN 1949. 1950- THE FS-2 PARACHUTE, SAME AS THE FS-1, 1.6 TWILL NYLON CANOPY EXCEPT 3 REAR PANELS MODIFIED WITH TAILS IS PLACED IN SERVICE. 1954- THE FS-5, A 32’ FLAT CIRCULAR CANOPY, 1.1 RIPSTOP NYLON, WITH 7’ SLOTS AND THREE TAILS, ORANGE WITH 5 WHITE REAR PANELS, IS PLACED IN SERVICE. A MOVE FROM DRIFT CHUTES TO PAPER DRIFT STREAMERS STARTED. 1960- FS-5A PARACHUTE IN USE. MODIFIED FS-5 WITH LENGTHENED SLOTS TO 10’ AND GUIDELINES ATTACHED INSIDE THE CANOPY 35’’ FROM SKIRT. TOGGLES ADDED TO GUIDELINES IN 1968. 1968- FS-10 PARACHUTE IN SERVICE FOR FIELD TESTING. 35’ PARABOLIC 1.1 RIPSTOP NYLON CANOPY WITH SEVEN PANEL SEPARATION ELLIPTICAL TU APERTURE. 18. Personally I don't think smoke jumpers fit Cooper's profile. These guys were cautious about things, they took risks, but not when it to came to safety. these guys looked like they were going to a fencing match! I just can't see one jumping out of a plane over a wooded area with with plain clothes and loafers..... "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  19. well, I read Bruce's story again, I must say it sounds good, but a couple lines make me wonder. "Norman says the cabbie returned with the signed receipt, but that he can’t find it presently." “They paid up very nicely,” Norman said. “It was a very good experience with Northwest Airlines.” "Sadly, however, Norman was unable to provide any authenticating documents for the parachute." If he went to court to regain the chute, wouldn't this be evidence it was in the hijacking? why did he fail to produce the other documents? receipt from NW or the cabbie? just more mystery around the chutes........ "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  20. 400 Pound chute wouldn't have much of a drift to it "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  21. His chute story makes about the same sense as this. 7/13/2006 "Duane was told to clear all of the passengers and the stews before presenting the note. The fact that he did not do it correctly changed the charges to a life term offense, for kidnapping. The FBI holds this case open waiting for a fly to land on a forum. The law is the law." who was he to give the note too???? still wouldn't change any charges. still kidnapping the pilots.... Not "EXACTLY as directed." 22. Yesterday it had 3 X's on it, now were back to one. Mac is dead, Mac is alive, Bob was a College drop out, Bob was not a College drop out......back and forth, round and round we gooooooo "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  23. I will have to read up again on the Mountain news, but I recall Hayden coming up short on any real evidence proving his chutes were used, but don't quote me on it.... "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  24. "Why the mystery by the FBI on the chute? Why weren't Kaye and his team allowed to see it? Why hasn't the FBI responded to their standing offer? " I don't know for sure, but if they got 100% confirmation the chute wasn't part of the investigation, perhaps they discarded it? does anyone know if they still have it? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  25. Whew!! Finally at last. Thank you. Now you know.
