And you're right... a drunk driver whose daddy has a hojillion dollars definitely deserves to be raped and mamed, but a regular ol' middle-class drunk driver doesn't deserve such horrible things!     It's pretty obvious that religion exists. The definition of an atheist is one who does not believe in the existence of a god or gods. Religion exists whether god does or not.

    I am financially stable and able to support myself, but I would never agree that Paris Hilton (or any other human being) is "utterly worthless." I didn't mean to imply that you are. Actually your post was not anywhere near as bad as some of the others on here; it just happened to be the one that I felt like replying to. Some of the other posts are so hateful that I don't even want to reply to them.

    Wow, these threads really bring out the best in people. (Not directed at only you.) I have no idea what Paris's life is like, but I do know that whatever condition my life is in probably has nothing to do with her. If people really need someone to hate and to blame for their own problems, then I would think they could at least find a better target. It just amazes me when these threads come up, to see otherwise nice people spewing out such nasty venom. Sheesh, if some celebrity really steers up that much hatred in someone, then I think that person may have some personal problems they need to address.

    Not anymore. I have converted to being a "none of the above." A lot of people read way too much into the word "atheist," so I find that it doesn't accurately describe my beliefs.

    I guess that doesn't surprise me, seeing as there are schools today that choose to teach creationism and not teach about evolution. I suppose not all schools are concerned with teaching facts.
