  1. I will be cheering for Spain (European Champions) to finally shed the World Cup monkey off of their backs. But there are always upsets in tournaments like this. So with 36 teams vying for bragging rights, anything can happen. Well almost anything. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  2. It is a 2+ billion dollar waste (and counting) and it has done absolutely nothing towards stopping criminals from using firearms in their crimes. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  3. License the individual, not the inanimate object. If someone who is NOT licensed is caught with a firearm, then throw the book at them. But stop this nonsense of registering inanimate objects. When will you Liberals ever accept the fact that "Criminals do not register their weapons". There is a reason why they are referred to as criminals. Law abiding, responsible, licensed firearms owners should not subjected to confiscation from the state. Gun Registries have nothing to do with gun control and everything to do with confiscation sometime in the future. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  4. I was laughing my ass off the entire 8 minutes of this video. Well maybe not the entire 8 minutes. The first few minutes during dinner was a waste of time. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  5. The Alberta/Saskatchewan Oil Sands are looking better and better every day. I want to thank all the good people at BP for ensuring a strong vibrant future for those of us who live and work in Oilberta. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  6. Since when is Mexico a race? Heck Mexican is not even a race. It's a nationality. Not only is the race card used too often, it is also oftenly used incorrectly. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  7. The Chicago Blackhawks bandwagon stopped by my house last night and ... I jumped on it for the next few weeks. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  8. If the Habs lose their series, I will be jumping on the "Hawks having a Philly Cheesestake sammich" bandwagon. Of course one thing is certain in all of this. Win or lose the so called fans in Montreal will be rioting in the streets after their series with the Flyers ends. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  9. Nancy Pelosi never ceases to amaze me. Is there anything between her ears ... besides space? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  10. Perhaps you should learn how to spell the word Hilarious before you attempt to use it. Once again ... so much for the myth that Liberals posses superior intelligence. I call bullshit. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  11. OMG dude are you serious? You didn't even proof read your post. Excuse me but this word does not exist in the English language. Check the spelling of the word "Repulsive" if that is what you meant. Excuse me but this word does not exist in the English language. Check the spelling of the word "Ridiculous" if that is what you meant. Please go back to school because you are the one who is looking absolutely foolish here. So much for the myth that Liberals possess superior intellect and intelligence. This yahoo can not even spell words that a grade six student would know. Well at least a grade six student who has access to teachers who teach their students the curriculum instead of trying to brainwash them into becoming Marxists. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  12. If you know Pelosi is bad, then you should keep the "people get the government they deserve" slogan to a minimum. Because as I pointed out, Pelosi is no different than this Rand Paul character you are out to slam. I don't know much about Rand Paul, but whenever Pelosi speaks I want to gag her and put a sack over her head. Heck fit her with some nice cement galoshes for all I care (of course that would not be very politically correct of me now would it). You know they all (politicians) suck ass. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  13. The thread was going good with no shortage of humor and it really was light on the partisanship (there were a few partisan stabs from miscellaneous sources, but for the most part it was kept to a minimum) ... until of course Lucky came along to spoil it and spew his rhetoric. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  14. Absolutely no right whatsoever. I am just lucky (knock on wood) that some external force which is more powerful than myself has not come knocking on my door telling me that I no longer live here, or some external force which is more powerful than myself which destroys my home and everything in it. Look at nature people, it is survival of the fittest. Life on this planet has evolved for billions of years. The strong find a way to adapt while the weak do not. Contrary to the socialist mantra which wants to imply "We are all equal", we are not all equal (never will be) and we are no different than what occurs in nature. 15. ROFLMAO ... there is no point debating you if you think Nancy Pelosi is a good politician. As far as I am concerned that psycho is a 100% certifiable and should be wearing a straight jacket. BTW ... maybe you are not aware of this, but not all Canadians are Leftists and Marxists, though approximately 66% of the country does believe in the hardcore Leftist / Marxist mantra that big government should manage every aspect of your life. Some of us do believe in personal responsibility and believe that hard work pays dividends in a free market society. But we are in the minority. Most of the country feels that the government owes them their free ride in the nanny state from the cradle to the grave. Ah yes Greece is a fine example we should all be following isn't it? NOT!!! 16. I thought it was supposed to be permission to drive a vehicle on public roads. You know damn well that a Drivers License serves multiple purposes in modern society. It's more than just one of the three pieces of ID one must have in their possession when they take their vehicle out on public roads. A Drivers License is used for all sorts of identification purposes, not just driving. This whole immigration debate is sad. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Very few people want the "your papers please" society, but the open door who cares who is in the country policy is a cancer to the USA. How many people from around the world have walked into the USA via it's back door? It's not just the hispanics who are crossing the Mexican/Canadian/US borders who you should be worried about. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  17. The same thing applies to Nancy Pelosi, except that Nancy Pelosi does a whole lot more damage to the nation than this Rand Paul fellow could ever dream of doing. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  18. Not sure about the bigotry. But the spelling here is atrocious. So much for the myth that all Liberals possess superior intellect while every Conservatives in the entire world is nothing but an uneducated red neck hilly billy hick. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  19. The game is on right now. It's near the end of the 1st with no score ... yet. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  20. ROFLMAO ... lose what? Are you still looking to take the Gold at the DorkZone Special Olympics? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  21. Could happen. Philly did it. Chuck How many of us thought Philly would come back against Boston? You need 4 wins to win an NHL playoff series. Chicago isn't there yet. However the fat lady has booked her seat to be at game #4 and she plans on attending every game left in the Hawks/Sharks series. Glad I am not a Sharks fan. My team is only down 2-1 in their series, but they too could find themselves in big trouble soon. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  22. You are 100% correct. Don't let the dolts here on the DorkZone confuse the facts. Obtaining a Green Card through employment is a major pain in the ass. It's expensive, it is time consuming, it requires plenty of intervention from lawyers and you could be well on the way towards obtaining the Green Card when all of a sudden something goes wrong in the application process and you are sent back to the start. The easiest way to get the Green Card is through marriage. But since when has marriage ever been easy? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  23. For someone who has said in the past "Al Gore was not their hero", you sure are spending many hours of your day defending him here. Usually when people do NOT think of someone else as their hero, they brush off the criticism towards this figure and they put their time in their day to better use. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  24. One down, three more to go. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  25. If two people are consenting regarding the result, why not. It is their lives and not all that different when we jump out of airplanes, when I drive my car around a race track on track days or when you or your hubby ride your motorcycles around the track. We know "shit could happen" and that it could be the end of us at a moment's notice. But we do it because it is fun and it brings us pleasure.
