I was out there in June on business....took me 1 1/2 hrs, but I stopped to get a drink once, then stopped to film a dust devil. Had heard of them but never seen one....so when I saw one, I stopped and videod it. Drove 3 miles, saw another and stopped. Drove 5 miles, saw another and stopped.... After the 4th one, decided I didn't need to film anymore.... And to beat it all, when I got to Eloy, they were grounded due to high winds. Don

Damn right ! It rocks having a brother who's a season-ticket holder. Got my pick of several games, and my boys are on the road at Ohio State this year, and I've seen them play everyone in the Big Ten except PSU, so.....

So which IS the best DZ in Michigan ? I'll be coming up for the Penn State game Oct. 12, and plan on jumping in Ohio or Indiana on the way up, and in Michigan that Sunday. Might even be able to drag my brother out for a tandem... Don

Adrenaline Air Sports in Moneta, Va....located on beautiful Smith Mountain Lake. Great views from altitude. Come join us this weekend for the third annual "Blow It Outcher Big Ugly Ass" boogie ! 3 days of jumping, cookout Saturday night, plenty of debauchery, and hot showers to the 3 earliest risers (cold showers for everyone else !). 3 or 4 Cessnas....no waiting ! Jeez.....how many of you got ripped off at the WFFC ? I'd like to think that you wouldn't have to worry about your gear while jumping, but I'm old enough to know that there are bad apples in every barrel. Does this sort of thing happen a lot at bigger DZs, or is it mostly at boogies, or what ? We've never had anything turn up missing at my two "home" DZs, but then they are Cessna DZs, and we rarely have more than 10-12 jumpers on any given day. Hope you find your stuff. Don edit: ps.....did the spectators have access to Tent City at Rantoul ?
