Hey Jim....good to see you around again. Sangiro......and you're a Renaissance Man ! How dare you ? I guess my tastes run towards the macabre when poetry is concerned. All my poems have been light-hearted, but I always appreciate a talent that can write of the fragility of life, and make it seem close. All of Paterson's work is darkly profound, as well as one of my favorites, from Thomas Nashe, about the inescapability of death..... I'd like to thing that as I've aged, I've grown as a person....so I don't think I would have flipped. Instead, i think I would have calmly and rationally discussed it with him, nodded understandably, then casually pulled out my .45 and agreeably shot him in the head. (okay.....maybe not calmly......) Nothing on my new suit, but had a couple of Alti-II patches on my old one. When I got my first rig last year, I immediately had a "Block M" patch sewn to the reserve flap, and the Univ. of Michigan seal sewn to the pin cover. When I showed up at the DZ to pick it up, my rigger asked me why I had wanted him to sew a big yellow W on my container. "Does it stand for Wolverine?" he asked innocently. Seconds before going into cardiac arrest, I looked around and saw everyone grinning...... Don

Great story, Sebazz.....funny as hell, and very well written also. I've met and jumped with 8 or 9 fellow DZ.commers, and it's always been a blast. Amen to all that, Kris. I don't use a timer, but I always let it idle for a few minutes before cutting. My '86 951 now has almost 250K on the odometer, but still runs like a champ. Don
