Please do ! I really miss the snow living down here. I'm wrapping gifts, drinking beer, and listening to some cranked-up tunes...doesn't feel like Christmas yet, but I feel festive nonetheless.....

I could put up with a lot of cold for a sunset like that. And when I lived up north, I used to go out of my way to find rivers when the ice was breaking up in the spring. I used to watch the ice roll with the current for hours. Sangiro....that's some nice use of shadow and light...I really liked the bench shot. Don

Not that I know of. "Interview" may be the wrong word. It was approx. a two-page article about skydiving websites, and about three-quarters of a page was dedicated to DZ.com. I think the writer quoted Sangiro about 6-7 times. They had a view of the then-current home page....I think it was the second iteration of this site......seems like the now-current version is iteration #4 or so. Let me know if you can't find it, and I'll send you a copy. Don

I had a blast chasing Satan around the sky, as he was hauling my co-worker on his first tandem. I was only out for a few hours, but it's always fun hanging out and talking to Chuck and John. I got to meet the lovely and out-going Katiebear also. And even got to talk to Nathan for a few minutes ! I always thought he was just a myth...... Don

On a side note (for those who are new here), November 2000 is also the issue containing the interview with our very own Sangiro.

I called the other day and talked to Tom (who might be Coconut Monkey, but I'm not sure). My co-worker will arrive around 2pm, but I'll be there early. I talked to Chuck about this about 2 months ago, but not sure if he remembers. I'd like Chuck to do it, and scare the crap out of my friend ! I'm all for a DZ.com jump if we can set it up.....how 'bout an 8-way with tandem and video ?

Got home from work today, and there was a video from Phree of our jumps at SGC in October....a great early Xmas present ! I've already watched it about 15 times, and drank about 4 beers....seems the more I drink, the better I perceive my flying to be.

Totally off the subject (altho I thought it was humorous as well.....) I've always thought that was about the most gripping and well-acted monologue ever.....so much so that I bought the video JUST for that 10 minute diatribe. I've always wondered since then if Al is religious, and if so, did he keep expecting to get struck dead by lightning right there on the set.

I had RK back in 1995.....definitely the best $2900 I ever spent. Vision was 20/200 and 20/400 before, with major astigmatism.....now it's 20/30 and 20/35 - not perfect, but miles better than it was. The only side-effect I've had is a VERY slight halo around headlights and streetlights at night. I was highly concerned while thinking about having it done, too. Not to downplay the anxiety you probably feel, but the fact you'd only need one done is a lot less risky than having both. Don
