No. I have no idea why you linked that. Do I need to read the whole thread to understand? That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

Just to be sure- what is your definition of an illegal gun? Is a gun in the possesion of someone not legal to own one an illegal gun? That process can happen many ways. A owner gets a felony conviction for anything and those guns have changed status. I don't see it as the guns being illegal in that case however, as they could simply be given to someone else and they are legal again. Granted some guns are illegal and a few states have registration issues, but for the sake of your question could you please define "illegal guns" for everyone? ... What does the VIN start with? My Silverado is made in Mexico while my F150 XLT is made in the US. Does the VIN start with a 1,2, or 3? That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

While I will admit I should have spared the childish insult in retaliation, I can not be held responsible for those who can't comprehend. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

You do realize how stupid you are being? I can sit in the woods on my stand with my phone and battery and have it operating in under a minute. I always have both pieces with me. Are you actually comparing this to leaving my barrel seperate from the rest of the firearm? I am not sure how this would help me? Now I can not use the firearm yet the gps is still transmitting which is ultimately what I was trying to avoid? The ideal is to eliminate the ability to track, not hide one's location. You have solved no problems- only created more. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

As I said earlier my cell phone is not powered usually during the weekends or even on many evenings. Are you ok with making it owner optional to have the GPS turned on in the firearm? Whats funny is that people got all uptight about the invasion of privacy over Bush's authorized "spying", yet would have no issue with this if it could be properly implemented. Hypocrite That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

How did I know you would not answer the question. No shit guns are not people but as I tend to travel with at least a shotgun in my truck during the fall at most times, it will be me being tracked wherever I go. The chip could just as well be planted in my DL. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

Boy you are bright this morning. If the goverment would repeal the second amendment and make firearms illegal, then yes it would be illegal since there would be no such thing as a "law abiding gun owner" Wow. Kimber makes a fine weapon but they are not without their problems. I will probably get flamed for this but oh well. I would have a very hard time buying the model you are looking at from a pawn shop if it is the external extractor model. The reason is that Kimber has had a fair amount of problems with their external extractor and FTE(failure to extract). The problem is much more pronounced on the compact models as the extractor timing becomes more of an issue. I shoot with several people that have had various issues with the Kimber EE. Some people have tried dealing with Kimber repeatetly until they finally replaced the slide with an IE model. Kimber has switched to an internal extractor late in 05 on what they call the 06 models. There will be people respond to this pissed that I dare say anything bad about their Kimber because they have not had any problems. Like I said they make a fine gun, in fact a excellent firearm for the money. They are a great value. Buying a used 4" EE model is taking a risk however. How much are they asking for it? If the price is right...... Again if you get a good one they are a great weapon for the money. I myself shoot a Springfield Operator for a 1911. They will feed anything but you probably not find one as cheap as a used Eclipse Pro II. Are you looking for something for CCW in the future? Unsure if you really mean quality or how to determine the condition. The latter is more apt to change on a used firearm. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

I am well aware of the Act which was the reason for both my posts. I did not want people to misinterpret your posts for Fact and feel the need to remove firearms from their home or alter their route on the way hunting. Yes and no respectively. Most weekends I let my battery go dead and the phone has no power. Regardless carrying a mobile phone is a choice not a law. You can't see the difference? That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

First they would have to make that act illegal which it is not. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

Are you OK with a tracking device integrated in your DL so that Big Brother always knows where your at? Or how about in your car.(I am not talking about On Star, but a goverment mandate that they actually use to track civilians. Better yet how would you feel if every pair of shoes required a GPS tracking device? Talk about an invasion of privacy. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! I have yet to make it out to the Boston area but have always wanted to get there. I never imagined it was such a place. I can't say I have every been really afraid to walk at night in the US. The only thing that sucks about it in the large cities is the homeless people looking for a handout. Now true there are likely some areas in every city that I may feel uncomfortable walking alone at night, but either I have never found them or reconized them and stayed away. I find it hard to believe the UK does not have "bad neighborhoods" Now I have not been to NY City yet. I am going there in May so I hope I make it out alive. Just an FYI for you John. There are many more states that allow open carry than where is is highly restricted or banned. Some states require a license while others don't. There are actually very few that restrict it completely. The only states to the west of the Mississippi that do not allow open carry are Texes, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. On the other side, with the exception of Illinois, you have to go clear to the East coast. Florida and a handful of states around and including New York ban public Open carry. I agree. Now just because a state allows Open Carry per its Constitution does not mean you will not get arrested for doing so or that they trust you to do so. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
