  1. I am so sick of you Ego and attitude. Then you don't need a tag, you want one. This is not at all what you implied. This forum has become so lame with all the egotistical assholes with nothing better to do. You know shit about me or my freezer. I had Venison steak for lunch And dinner. Had a roast in a crock on Sunday. Great that you like it so much that way. Not so much my thing but you would be hard pressed to find someone who likes Vension more than me. I have plenty of game in my freezer. We have some of the largest Whitetails in the US in WI, Illinois and Michigan. . We have plenty of Game in WI. True we don't have a season for Elk as the Wolves are doing quite a number on them. A fucking Judge out in Idaho screwed us from having a season on the Wolves. We have a large amount of bear here also. We have plenty of game to hunt but I am not a trophy hunter and just love Whitetail. I don't need to move west to hunt them. Cry about what? Damm there is more ego, bitterness and hatred for others in this forum than I have ever seen. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  2. I tried a sense of humor earlier. Didn't go so well Other than that I just get a bit riled up when people(on both sides) will turn everything into a political crusade. On a lighter note. http://www.caryol.com/pic1.jpg Good night That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

  4. This conversation is hopeless. Compare this to other hunting accidents not Blowjob's A pass for what? Should he have gotten a ticket for not having a stamp if every other non resident the wardens ca Or should he be charged in the shooting? Do you know just how fucking bizzare that would be? Has you ever heard of someone being charged for accidentely shooting their friend with bird shot while upland game hunting? That pretty rare. 5. In the states I hunt at there is no problem shooting a Mountain lion if you are threatened. You won't get to keep the cat though. I find it hard to believe any state would charge you for defending yourself. If you say they will I think your full of shit. And why is a good thing you had the tag when the Bear just happened along? Oh because you wanted to shoot the bear? They yes no shit it good you had a tag. Or are you claiming a bear just happened along and you were threatened. Great that are willing to spend possibly thousands on ever non-resident tag if you go hunting state. I hope you are not implying everyone else should just because you do. "Just in case I need it" What a crock of shit. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  6. Now where do you get this from? Reports I read said he had the Correct and Current license. He was only missing a new stamp that people were commonly let off with a warning for not possessing. The DNR wants to add a Grouse stamp in Wisconsin. No doubt if it happens their will be old timers that have been hunting of their Sportsmans(small game, fishing, gun deer) license for so long they will have no idea about it. I am sure/hope their will be some leniency at first if this passes. What is wrong with you people? From every angle this seems as if Cheney has gotten equal treatment to ordinary citizens. What isn't appropriate is that annoying apostrophe in "want's". Why did you do that? Good question. Besides being jacked up on caffeine and in a hurry I have no excuse. It really is annoying. I agree. It makes me wonder if I have ever done that before? I am not typicaly that bad with grammer. Spelling on the other hand..... 9. They may want but they may not go out of their way to do so. I am not sure about Texas but I know that in other places the police would be content to wait until morning a case like this. That is two friends hunting together and one gets hit with bird shot. It is sad to say but from time to time someone hits their dog of buddy with bird shot. Then I would be content to ask the person who was shot about it. And if they were drunk I could tell them how stupid they were. If the friend that shot him was drunk, then the guy who got shot it just as stupid for hunting with him imo. And if one was drunk there is good chance they both were drinking. Remember these were buddies. Even if it was my Wife that was shot I would not be furious that the cops did not interview right away. I would ask my wife what the fuck happened and if she said they were drinking I would handle it. How do we go from a beer at lunch to being drunk hours later anyway? 10. Yep from Wikipedia: Curriculum Vitae is Latin for "course of life". The plural is curricula vitae, not curricula vitarum. The latter would be the genitive of content. The Latin plural would have been the former, being the genitive of possession: to an ancient Roman, "curricula vitarum" would suggest that each document described more than one life, i.e., "courses of lives" rather than the intended "courses of life." What most people would want from a plural of CV is something meaning "a number of courses, each describing a single life"; this is curricula vitae. A résumé (in North American English; often spelled resumé or resume; known as a curriculum vitae in Commonwealth English and in the academic fields in the United States; sometimes abbreviated to CV) is a document containing a summary or listing of relevant job experience and education, usually for the purpose of obtaining an interview when seeking employment. Often the résumé is the first item a potential employer encounters regarding the job seeker, and therefore a large amount of importance is often ascribed to it. Traditionally, resumes or CVs have been, like careers themselves, oriented towards what a person has accomplished thus far...... 11. CV -Curriculum Vitae Think resume only much more in depth. Or with a fancy name. I am sure I will be corrected That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  12. Wrong. I read hunting incident reports quite frequently and parties are seldom charged in a case like this. It sounds to me like they are treating him similiar to others in this case. Of course I have never lived or hunted in Texas. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  13. While I can't go back and read the link on this PC right now, I don't recall the article referencing Gun Crime in the stats. It had stats of murder and violent crime and then interviews and statements with references to guns. Did it actually statistically link the murders and violent crime to gun murders and gun violent crime? That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! 14. I know others have claimed him to be a Professor(which he may or may not be depending on what definition use), but since you are calling him a liar can you show me where he has claimed to be a Professor. In other words can you show me where he lied? That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  15. Based on an article from the NY Times? This is not any sort of factual study. Proves what? In fact-the stats are about murder and violent crime, NONE of them are about Gun Crime! Most references to guns are from noctorious Liberal anti-gun folks. I lived in Milwaukee long enough to laugh at Chief Hegerty's comments. I recognize a few other names from various anti-gun propaganda I've read. All this written by Kate Zeranti following the anti-gun editorial policy of the New York Times. With NO stats about gun crime! While you seem to be sincere, my apologies if this is a Troll and I got hooked. If it is not, then I am clearly missing something here? Or you are. 16. My boy is only 7 months, but my buddies boy at 9 years old has already shot a couple whitetails with a break-action .243. He killed a spike at age 7 (120 yard shot with .243) A turkey and a doe at age 8. An 8 pointer and a turkey this past fall at age 9 Every kid is different but most of us where I grew up were shooting .22 rimfires around at least your oldest sons age. I so much look foward to hunting with mine when he grows up. I agree on how important it is. Wish you and your kids well. Be safe. 17. That is exactly my point! How hard is that for you to understand! You are making a great assumption that I have no experience or knowledge in long range shooting. Get off your ego trip. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  18. Now it's getting deep. Every area I hunt in WI is T zone so I am well aware of the condition and the population of the Deer there. Two of the Does I shot this year had over two inches of fat on their ass and were very good size does. Your statement is ludicrious. Not at all what I said. Not only bad ethics, but can't read either. Ethics have nothing to do with the amount of deer one can kill in a year. It has much more to do with the ones you miss though. Your apparently to Macho to understand. I don't need background info on anyone to know that shooting at a running deer at 900 yard is piss poor fucking ethics. The fact that you missed by 15 feet proves my point more than word ever could. And you have know idea what I would or would not understand. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  19. This is bullshit! I don't care how good of a shot you are, you don't just take a "fun shot" to test your skills and you Luck. I myself enjoy shooting long ranges for practice and would feel quite comfortable taking a reasonable long shot on whitetail in the correct conditions. Where I hunt however I am lucky to take a shot over 50 yards and the furthest I ever shot down a logging road was just under 200 yards offhand. At these short distance there is not much fear of ruining meat. The longest shot I took this year was 60 yards. The shortest was right under my stand. All lungs and heart. I will probably have a belly full of Venison by the time you read this. But back to my original statement, Shooting at a running dear at almost 900 yards( in the wind no less) is piss poor ethics. It is people like you that give hunters a bad name. Don't take pot shots. Don't shoot if you can't make a clean kill. I would never allow you to hunt out of my camp or attend a hunt with someone like yourself if I have before hand knowledge of your horrendious ethics. Not that this would bother you. 20. It appears as though the man had already started striking a second victim before pulling out a gun. Is your statement an admission of your cowardness and willingness to run away? That's how I take it. Someone should have engaged. 21. Yes I watched it also last night. I won't try to explain what I was feeling after I saw that cop shoot the kid. From what I saw it was Attempted Murder. Edited to add Attempted. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  22. Wasn't it you who made the comment against guns in bars with a sarcastic guns and alcohol comment? You opened this one up yourself. Many people go to a bar and don't drink. You don't get drunk merely by just being in a bar and on top of that most, if not all, CCW laws prohibit being drunk. If you are going to drink while carrying then you are already going to breaking the law so they may be carrying anyway- permited or not. It does not make a much since to forbid those who are legal to carry otherwise, just because they are in a place that serves alcohol. Some states allow it while others don't because it's what it took to swing a few liberal votes to get CCW legal. I have seen cops enter a bar with a sidearm? Hell did not break out. And please don't give me the line about how well ALL Cops are trained with firearms. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  23. Oh cry cry. I have been pulled over for speeding before and let off with a warning. I know people who have been pulled over for lesser offenses and ticketed. So what? Both of them should have known better but one of them kind of got away with it. Was the person who arrested Mrs. Sheehan the same as the person who escorted out the congressman's wife? 24. What the hell are you talking about Kallend. My Biases? You linked me to an old post by Chuck Blue talking about CCW? I simply asked you what you meant by "Illegal Gun" in YOUR question so that it could be answered properly. While I have never yet gotten a serious answer from you about anything, I actually thought you might this time. Why is it so difficult for you to answer questions. I feel so sorry for your students.
