  1. I have seen Tungsten this year as I was picking up some standard lead shells. I would guess it is not hard to find but I know that does not help you. I shot around 30 game birds this year, but as I have never hunted Waterfowl, I can't be of any further help to you. Sorry. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  2. I googled and found a Yahoo video from what appears to be the local CBS affiliate. I'm not sure you should have put Hmong in the title until we have a bit more info? Leemo will get her hug. 3. Do you have some inside information on this? I can't find where the victims name has been released yet. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

  6. Ok then. You should have just told me you knew people who told you so rather than link me to a gunbroker auction. I still don't believe the average shotgun (in the us at least) is more than 1 grand. I know my first number was low. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! 7. I also know people who own exotic guns. And hundreds more who don't. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  8. What the hell? It must me true than with proof like that? In Internet auction page with people advertising high priced shotguns, most of which have no bids. You have made your case. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  9. I know what average means. But for every 30K exotic SBS or O/U, there are probably a hundred 870's out there. If there are a bunch of 30k shotguns out there than I stand corrected, but I truly doubt that to be the case. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! 10. WOW! Those are some extremely high averages. I would cut those numbers in half I own four shotguns and have never spent $1500 on one. I don't own a rifle that cost $1000 new not counting optics.(7 total). That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  11. I thought I read that a man killed his Wife once with a .50 cal. That was the only case on US soil I heard about That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  12. What point? I was asking for information you seemed to have. Thanks. Even if this may be nothing more than your opinion. When I get a chance I will "do my own homework" to verify Your point. 13. All homicides or just gun homicides? Please answer. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  14. Alot of people give you credit for being very smart. Why do you pretend not to be? You can answer that question easily. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  15. What argument?. I was answering HIS question. Nothing false or misleading about it. Not one damn thing. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  16. Because you never hear about the .50 cal used in crimes. It is a very expensive heavy large gun that really has no place in criminal activity. Some people just like to shot up things. Being harmed by the Barrett .50 cal is the VERY LAST thing on this earth I am concerned about for me and my family. Then there is the AR-15. One of the most popular target rifles of all time. There are hundreds of thousands of these firearms owned and yet hardly ever are they used in a crime. The DC sniper used one and it was hardly the best weapon of choice for their killing spree. There may have been one more dead woman had they just used a simple bolt action hunting rifle. They are fun to shoot though. They are a low powered(compared to a hunting rifle), low recoil, and while and expensive invesment- the ammo is cheap so you can shoot alot. The .22 rimfire ( think 10-22) and the AR-15 are great shooting platforms to practice with. What's not to like? That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! 17. The defensive uses that firearms are used each year. That number ranges form 100,000 from anti-gun studies to 2.5 by pro gun studies. Most other studies put the number closer to the middle of the two extremes. You missed that for starters. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! 18. Funny shit Kallend. I have a hard time believing that you actually believe that yourself. To many instances of corruption to believe in Chicago's murder rate. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  19. Here goes Kallend again bragging about the very controversial decline of murders in Chicago. There has been much made of faulty reports and the accidental death classifications over the last few years in Chicago. Living in the Chicagoland area the last several years, I have heard many reports of Family members claiming there loved ones murder was classified as an accidental death. For those outside the Chicagoland area check out this clip for a sample of what is really going on here. http://cbs2chicago.com/video?id=27651@wbbm.dayport.com That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! 20. If they are fun then that is kinda the point isn't it???? I am not sure I understand your statement. Do expensive trap, sporting clays, and exotic target guns have no point as well? btw. I have had eaten my fair share of game harvested with an Air Powered Firearm. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  21. Some states don't allow. Many do. That is like saying you can not buy full auto weapons in the US. Simply untrue. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  22. Just to clarify for those not living in the US. It is not very hard to buy a supressor in the US unless you live in a state which they are not allowed. I have no idea what Darius11 means by "very hard to get" but I must assume he is speaking for his specific state. Except if it is legal to purchase them I am not sure what could make it so difficult. You will need to pay the $250 stamp and be approved but that is more of waiiting period than anything. Figure 30 to as much as 60 days to get issued. A suppressed .22 with subsonic ammo is a a fun little plinker. You can shoot all day without bothering anyone. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! 23. There is way more to the referendum than the big bad .50 Go back and read the question again. Slowly. I own weapons that would fall under the last few proposed HR bills that few would think of as "military style" or "assault rifle". Still thats not the point. You see no reason? None? Security? Protection? How about my dinner last night? Venison!! Yummy. Without my firearms I would be limited to the tags issued for archery. How about my dinner on Sunday? Grouse. Very hard to get with a bow and have any meat left unless you can get an optimal ground shot. How about the Wolves that are very thick about 1/2 mile from where I bow hunt? I seldom go that deep into the woods anymore without a sidearm ever since I stumbled across a Mama Bear and cubs earlier this year. Still it is the wolves that scare me if I ever were injured and struggling out in the woods. 2ND Amendment aside and the opinion that guns are just plain fun to shoot, can you honestly say you see no reason for the personal ownership of firearms? I could probably think of a hundred. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
  24. Hell of a presumtion since most quality gun safes do not use keys. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.
