Your post screams just the opposite. It would suit me just fine if I never meet you. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

Fish can and do die a horrible death. The smaller ones are deprived of O2 by being removed from the water. It can take many hours to die and then even after they are filleted they may live a bit longer. Have you never seen a fish that has been out of the water for several hours completely filleted yet still alive? Smaller fish either die slowly from O2 deprivation or are filleted alive, sometimes both. Now a 900 Lb. Halibut is a most likely harpooned to death once it is in the boat. I am not sure of the SOP for these fish. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

I just did out of curiosity. He got his share in April 1989 and began lobbying for a new stadium. The Angels were playing in a former minor league stadium at that time That year they past 2 Million in attendence for the first time in history and had their first winning record in 3 years. He sold his share in 1998. The Rangers had a winning record 7 out of those 10 seasons. 1993 The neww ballpark opens. They have the league leading attendance for the next few months at an average of 40,374. Again best in Franchise history. The season is cut short with the Rangers in first place. This is the first time the Rangers finish in first place in franchise history. It is reported that Bush worked hard with owners to avoid the strike. 1995 the new park holds the All Star Game 1996 The Rangers win the ALW. This is the first time in Franchise history they make the playoffs. They make it again two years later in 1998. In 1996 while still trying to rebound from the strike, attendance was 36,113 and stadium revenues are tops in baseball according to Financial World Yes, Not to Shabby Worst thing I have found so far was the typical controversy in the new stadium deal. Then why did he not say that rather that that he was glad to be in a red state. Mabey he likes the fact that they have a large whitetail population. Mabey he likes the fact that they have Wolves and large bear. Mabey... Mabey...Mabey That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

Ok. I missed the part of the non CCW being red. Now i understand the smily face. I actually forgot about the graph. So you are glad Wisconsin is one of only two states with no form of CCW. Do you think the people of Wisconsin are less capable than the rest of the country? Or do you just feel as Doyle does that the public has no right to protect itself from criminals by means of a firearm? That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! I am not sure what you mean but you may want to update your profile. It shows you still live in Wisconsin where I lived for 30 years That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

I believe the Nebraska bill is a bit watered down. It will need some work but it is a start. Hopefully WI get Doyle voted out of office and they will then be the 39th shall issue with only Illinois with no form of CCW. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! Richard, I really think they are playing stupid. If anyone really does not believe that the vast majority of Democratic polititions are anti-gun please make it be known. I can dig up plenty of voting records with Pro gun bills getting little to no democratic vote and anti gun bills getting a huge vote from the dems but little to none from the Rep. Sure there are a few democrats that like guns. Hell even Kallend says he is not against guns. I believe Kallend to be very Anti-gun. He just supports the constitution so he will stick to that and not admit that he does not like guns. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! Did you look at the graph? It shows the Shall issue vs May issue states. I am well aware of the issues in the "May issue" states. I was just choosing to look at the positive side of what has been happening over the last decade or so. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! Nebraska and Kansas both passed CCW legislation out of both houses with the Governors word that he will sign the bills. Only WI and IL will be left for states with no form of CCW. WI came up two votes short of a veto override earlier this year. Two Democrats flipped for the veto session(under heavy pressure from the Governor) that had previously voted for the bill. It is only a matter of time before WI gets a CCW passed. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

This has to be one of the most idiotic statements I have read in Speakers Corner. Definately in the top 10. I greatly enjoy the ownership of my guns. And while I have many guns well suited to the task of self/home protection, it is something that has never been on my mind much. If someone broke into my house with the intent to to harm I would have a hell of a time because I don't prepare for it. In other words my firearms are not usually near me and loaded. Right now my .45 operator is in my bedroom but the mags are in my truck from the last time I shot it. However.. If there was ever a time that I would argue the 2nd strictly for self defense reasons(like many on here) it would be for situations "in times of crises". Criminals were going around shooting people and rescue personal and you want to take my firearms. Fuck You! Then you give up yours to(Police, sheriffs, ect.) Never is there a more prominent need for the public to have the ability to protect themselves then in times of crises. Of course intelligent people should have all fled NO anyway. That is another point all together. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

How is your yard looking right now? 90% of that yard is already green! My entire yard still looks like the other 10% and I have a nice lawn in the summer. Guy is a nut job that needs to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I don't see this hurting the NRA. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! wolves to be killed with few restrictions in wyoming
craddock replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
WI DNR now claims almost double that number in 2005 and some believe it is higher. Our cabin is in an area with heavy(relativly speaking) Wolf population. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side. -
huh? That is not particularly fast at all. 50 ft is not very far over here in the States. That's about 15 meters That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

I am not sure what distance has to do with firing three times with a modern semi-auto and I am not sure it matters much. The difference between shooting to kill vs wound is shot placement. Or at least intended shot placement. If a suspect is coming after a police officer with a knife it does not matter if he is 10 feet or 2 feet away; lethal force is warrented. One must also consider that the legal system in the US regarding lawsuits. There is something I have no problem with you bashing. God forbid I ever need to protect myself or my family with lethal force, but if our life is ever in real danger and I have the means, you can bet your ass I am going to try and remove all threats. WOW. What are you saying here? Another one of your typical shots at the US? You have a terrible misconseption of what it is like over here. I am not aware of areas that cops are routinly shooting someone to stop them. When and if they are I would assume it is only the "bad cop" that is shooting a street robber just to stop them; unlike your forces in Germany. Please elaborate? You are saying that it is SOP to shoot to stop and apprehend someone stealing a wallet from little old lady? That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! I did not mean to imply that was what happened here. I should have been more specific. I does happen quite a bit however which was the point of the article you linked. While I agree it can be irritating to hear the word misused, it is not nearly as irritating as those who take such an issue against its use. People seem to actually go on a crusade to put those down who use the word out of place. That is fucking irritating. That is what I meant. Sorry for the confusion That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

You know some people really get their underwear in a knot over the dumbest things. While there is a obvious difference between a magazine and a clip, it is just as obvious as to the implied meaning when someone mistakenly uses the word "clip" People who are very familiar with guns use the word clip all the time. People that have been around firearms all their life and can handle them as safe as anyone use the word clip. It is not a big deal but some get all bent over it and are quick to correct. I think the whole thing is childish. Now I am not suggesting instructors use the wrong term but if I hear it in casual convesation I could give a shit less. Again some of the safest people I know around firearms have used the word "clip" Everyone knows what they meant. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! Be advised that the SAAMI .223 is not the same round as the NATO 5.56. Most manufacturers of ammunition and rifles do not recommend firing the 5.56 in rifle chambered for the .223. Some manufacturers use a modified SAAMI .223 chambering to safely fire both or chamber the gun in 5.56 and call it a .223/5.56. It is perfectly safe to fire a .223 in a 5.56 chambering SAAMI specifically warns against the use of 5.56mm ammo in .223 chambers. Of course many people get away with it but I don't feel it is fair for you to imply they are the same. Many manufacturers advise against such a practice That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

Wait, aren't guns AND armed robbery both illegal in Britain?
craddock replied to peacefuljeffrey's topic in Speakers Corner
Again can you explain please? I am just trying to follow along here. Are you implying "assult weapons"? are hard to get in the US? Please define "assult weapons" for us then. So called assault weapons are no harder to buy in most of the US than a shotgun or single shot .22. yet are used in only 1% of gun crimes according to most statistics. no good reason?? Take up the DNR up in that. They are the ones that are struggling to reduce the herd. The wolf pack have become a huge problem up by my cabin. Regardless of a season the DNR want to reduce the population and have been stopped from doing so. They can only relocate. The wolves are doing quite a number on our deer and elk herd. I know several people that lost dogs this year due to Wolves. On top of that there are reports of wolves breeding with domestic dogs resulting in litters of domestic pups that are mixed. It is only a matter of time before we start seeing fatalities from the excessive wolf population. Canada already had one this past year. Take you issue somewhere else. Read about it. Attend DNR meetings in Madison if you wish. Hunters all over the northern part of the state are demanding something be done and the DNR is despertely trying. If they open a season protest those that are actually going to hunt them. Or just continue to be immature jerk. Your choice That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue!
