It's reiterated by the Apostle Paul making it contextually applicable to present day. That aside, God's moral law, expressed in the 10 Commandments, prohibits all sexual immorality , not just homosexuality, (e.g. outside the covavantal bounds of marriage which is defined by God as between one woman and one man.) Again, reiterated by Jesus Christ himself.

Religious Authoritarianism Has America nailed to its Cross

We are in fact living in biblical times until Christ returns. I didn't say the ones you mentioned were right and I wouldn't generalize like you did. I just expressed a biblical principal. -

Biblically, Christians don't proclaim their righteousness. They proclaim Christ's righteousness. -
Most of what you mentioned were laws, established by men, belonging to the Nation of Israel. They were not laws established by God. They were laws established by God's chosen people. Back to your point. I agree that if you tell someone don't do something who doesn't know right from wrong then they have no way to know that it's wrong to do that. God gave Adam and Eve a conscience just like you and me. Their right and wrong was made clear by him.

It doesn't matter that God said "don't?" Until the disobedience, man didn't know "that disobeying God was a bad thing?" Where do you come up with this nonsense?

[But there is an entire area of classical religious study that even awards PhD's to thumping the bible, koran, etc!] Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Oxford... All founded as seminary institutions. Mother Goose?...... -
If you were not fallen, you would be without fault.
-
Yeah... I'm sure everyone in your life as always thought you were a peach!

Merry Christmas! "Since the fall and throughout all of scripture, God's purpose in redemption has been to make a people for Himself out of the great mass of fallen humanity." - Paul David Washer

Although God maintains sovereignty over everything, his decrees aren't necessarily the same thing as his precepts which aren't necessarily the same as what he merely permits. He didn't necessarily "appoint" President Trump, as has been stated here. -
You got me there.

This is amazing. I leave here FOR YEARS, come back to check in, and see the same old characters, still willfully ignorant, arguing the same old stuff against Christianity. I mean absolutely stupid ass stuff like "you call yourself Christian but you eat shrimp." That shows a lack of any kind of hermeneutical understanding of biblical laws.

If uncaused causes are possible you've eliminated the need for god to be a cause, and demolished your own 'evidence'. God is the uncaused cause (singular). He is even the reason for your ability to reason against him.

[replyI guess he's never seen a hexagonal crystalline system, expressing space P6(2)22 and P6(4)22 structures, arising by itself from disordered matter. (You may have seen them - they are called quartz crystals.) Check out zeolite crystallization. You go straight from soup to elegant complexity, orders of magnitude more so than quartz. Zeolites, aluminosilicate clays, catalyze the formation of nucleic acids. It is ironic that my Bronze Age forebears, stuck in your basic stinking desert, made the connection between clay and the foundations of life. Of course, this level of technology is sophisticated enough to be indistinguishable from magic.

"A code system is always the result of a mental process (it requires an intelligent origin or inventor) . . . . It should be emphasized that matter as such is unable to generate any code. All experiences indicate that a thinking being voluntarily exercising his own free will, cognition, and creativity, is required." "There is no known natural law through which matter can give rise to information, neither is any physical process or material phenomenon known that can do this." "There is no known law of nature, no known process and no known sequence of events which can cause information to originate by itself in matter." - Dr. Werner Gitt

Dude. I am 0% frustrated. Are you? What it meant was that you don't prove everything like you would a science experiment. Et tu? Likewise. But I'm wondering if you really know what it means to man up. Because what you said sounded kind of disrespectful and pretentious.
-
I wasn't looking to be serenaded but...ok.

So you subscribe to the theory that matter is eternal? I know nothing of eternity. I don't pretend to. You are the one claiming knowledge of eternity. Again, put up or shut up. And quit trying to change the subject. So YOU believe in magic!
