  1. When he laughs urine squirts out his nose. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  2. If your SO is looney and then you get your rig back from him and then you realize your cat is missing and then your realize that your rig goes "meow meow meow meow - meow meow meow meow - meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow" then you should be concerned. 3. I do presume. The devil's advocate is to say that he's letting a lawyer run the show...and that stinks. Edit: After really thinking about empathy vs sympathy I realize the difference has nothing to do with this. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  4. I don't. I think he's profiteering off of his son's death. I guess his cut of Josh's $430,000 salary wasn't enough to keep him in the good so he's trying to get what he can. He forfeits his right to my sympathy. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  5. #2 - Gotta stick with the classic look. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  6. Ok, I'm moving to Belgium now. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  7. 110F is probably a good temp. Essentially you're setting it so that it's likely that the temp inside of your attic is significantly hotter than the outside air and therefore the heat transfer through your ceiling exceeds what you see on your walls. Also the temp probably reflects a point at which the condensation would occur within the insulation of your ceiling cavity because of the large temperature difference between the cooled space and the attic. Ideally your vapor barrier is to the outside (as it should be in the South) so that vapor doesn't actually extend into the insulation. If you actually want to cut down on your cooling bill then plant trees that will shade your house. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  8. Thank Goodness. My goal in life is to buy a large enough sailboat that I can run an independent engineering/consulting practice from my dock. I have a ways to go. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  9. You're not really giving enough information and nor do people on the internet know you well enough to give good canopy advice. Talk to the experienced jumpers at your DZ and demo a few canopies. I'll bet that PD has truckloads of Sabre2's available. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  10. I focused on Freeflying and CRW after getting my A-license. At about 100 jumps when I did a belly tunnel camp the majority of time I had spent on my belly was in the deploying position. This didn't change until I started shooting tandem videos. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

  12. That was pretty hilarious. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  13. An Otter, Caravan, or other large and tall door aircraft are best for CRW exits since you can get mulitple people and vid on the outside if you're doing tight exits. We did one fourway practice round out of a PAC and decided that it was too cramped for competition jumping. For recreational CRW, anything will do, just gotta be ready for a harder opening on the fast planes. Edit: Also, regardless of jumprun speed, exits out of tailgate aircraft are the funnest. 19. A lot of students don't like to talk much also so ask open ended questions and allow them to put in as much as they like. So the bare essentials: On the ground: Why did you come out to skydive? What expectations do you have of this experience? Why did you wait so long? In the air: Now that we're here - what's going through your head? What's the most important thing in your skydive? (The answer is to smile at the camera.) On the ground: Give me one word to describe the experience. For other things do a search - there are a bunch of threads with one-liners that are fun to use.
