Actually, no. What you have to do is have a party that is also putting members into legislative positions at an equal rate to that of a major party. Third party members coming out of the blue every four years does nothing to put a third party President into office. First you have to be able to say "Green Party Candidate, Libertarian Candidate, Federalist Candidate" before that person can do anything but at best come in third and disrupt votes for one of the two actual contenders. Also, having a convention where nobody strips and nobody wears a boot on their head helps the candidate to be taken seriously. And before anyone says something about the Republican party and Lincoln, read up to learn that they had formed majorities in the states before Lincoln's election. Bring me up to speed, what does the father of a mass-killer have to do with US politics? Oh yeah, I forgot...your candidate advocates crime against humanity by saying we should kill the family members of our enemies. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

His only goal was to poll 2nd place and run as a "Protest Candidate" that way he gets easy national exposure for his brand and stays relevant. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/mar/29/stephanie-cegielski-ex-trump-strategist-calls-cand/ "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Frankly I think they are a lot like us, and are making judgments about which candidate would be better for them in the long run, just as we do. (And, in this case, then act on those judgments.) They're not really much like Boris Badenov, popular stereotypes aside. (Although international politics would be a lot more fun if they were. As long as you're not a moose, that is.) How in the BLUE FUCK are we in a world where Russians and Pinko-Commie-Hating Republicans are the better bed fellows? "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I suppose people were just standing their ground. The 8 armed guards there were told to "stand down". Wait, I'm getting my bullshit confused. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I suppose people were just standing their ground. Don't blame guns, it could have just as easily have been a knife or other weapon. The liberal media is just suppressing the equal number of mass stabbings/bombings in the US that would be indicative of how equally easy it is to use those weapons. Furthermore there is no way to amend the Constitution. It's written in stone. In fact the word Amendment is latin for "Something that cannot be changed because since it was written a long time ago that means it must apply to life today without an relevance to time passing." As a TI I can attest that if you DO twist your back on a landing you will be absolutely amazed at what comes rolling out of everyone's medicine chest. I look forward to more shitty landings and then sitting on a couch in the AC while the other TIs pick up my slack. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Anything that you'd normally run it. Stretching and regular exercise is probably the best thing for mid-impact injury prevention. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I've seen people land barefoot so I'll agree to forget special shoes. There are "jump boots" but they're for round chutes that make you land vertically instead of in a glide. When starting out, I would suggest the sliding landing. It allows you to get closer to the ground before flaring all the way. After some jumps and you get more comfortable judging distances, then you can go for standup landings. Students will suck at judging height in the beginning and the sliding landing is more forgiving during that time. It's not "proper" and probably no AFFI would teach it but looking back, I consider it irresponsible to tell a student to try to land on 2 feet. Landing-related injuries are unfortunately common for AFF students and the sliding landing could've prevented many if not most of them. Please don't give any more advice. The advice is you're giving is wrong and you don't even seem to understand why it's wrong. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I'll bet her bank account looks great this morning. Ha, it took me a second to figure out what you were talking about. I have the Drumfinator https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/drumpfinator/hcimhbfpiofdihhdnofbdlhjcmjopilp?hl=en extension on my computer, courtesy of John Oliver. It changed it for me. Speaking of quoting, you don't need to put this "America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." since Lincoln never said that. This is what he said, "Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant to step the ocean and crush us at a blow? Never! All the armies of Europe, Asia, and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest, with a Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force take a drink from the Ohio or make a track on the Blue Ridge in a trial of a thousand years. At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer. If it ever reach us it must spring up amongst us; it cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen we must live through all time or die by suicide." I realize you're responding to a couple of people but on a retractable PC that kill cone helps destroy a lot of parasitic drag. On smaller Lightnings it's enough drag to actually pull the rings back together, something you don't want during a landing in turbulence. CRW toggles are very very very helpful. Also, there's nothing stopping you from doing this a year from now when you can get a better evaluation of how your body takes impacts and jarring. But if you injure yourself again now you will not be able to do AND of this a year from now. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

A dropzone cannot promise that you won't be injured and if you're healthy and think you're ok and want to jump then don't bring it up. The last thing a DZ wants to do is make an evaluation of your medical state. They simply cannot. Your friend is just telling you that typically openings and landings are OK and that's the most a DZ will tell you. Do let your instructor know if you either have trouble bending your back or picking up your legs for landing and he'll plan accordingly. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Y'all Hate Bush and detest war in the Middle East . . .

This issue is equally important to any other issue. How a decision is reached is just as important to what that issue is. Take the Brexit for example 71% of the population total voted and 52% of those voters voted for it. HOWEVER, that means that only 36% of the population actually wanted it enough to vote for it. For a decision like that it's not representative of the population. Another is how the Republican candidates were chosen this year. Since there were so many similar candidates they effectively split the vote, leaving Trump the winner after only having carried 33% of the vote through most of the Primary (when there were multiple candidates). Another example is the election for the Canadian PM when NAFTA was on the table, the primary issue in the election. Most of the candidates were against it which reflected the opinion of the country. However, their votes became split and the winner was the candidate who supported it. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher -

Don't forget the little sewn fold on the leading edge of the slider. I think that's still an aftermarket thing but sewing a fold on the leading edge keeps the front table from buzzing. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
