As depressing as this is the actual figure is much lower. I believe the real figure is 21.97%... I'm referring to the voting required for 1 candidate in a field of three to win as a reason for the General election to only allow two candidates. In my opinion third party and write-in candidates are rubbish but that also goes hand in hand with my belief that the Primaries need to do a better job at being selective so that the candidates are more representative of our desires. The final decision needs to come down to two candidates regardless of how may party starts. We can't have a President who only 33.5% of the voters want in office. Look what happened to the GOP when they fielded 16 candidates, all so similar that the votes were split so much that Trump with 33% of the vote mathematically defeated the candidates who represented the majority opinion of the party. I figured it out when I was a 6th grader and I was running again two females for a mock class election. The NRA lost me when they started inviting the likes of Ted Nugent and Glenn Beck to speak at their conventions. Nugent should only be allowed to sing, not speak. However, since Beck has come out as detesting Trump, perhaps he is not as crazy as we once thought. Now here we are nearing election and it's certain that they've lost the Presidency, likely that they've lost the house, and possible that they'll lose the Senate. The emotion towards action out there indicated by things like record viewing of debates shows that more people than ever have their eye on this election. In parallel Republicans are becoming frustrated by Trump and thereby uninspired to vote at all while Democrats more and more want to make sure that Trump will not become President. The voting booths may be faced with no only a higher than normal (54%) percentage of voter turnout who are already polled to favor the democrat but also new voters who are only voting to vote against Trump and typically will vote along the Democratic party line. Not that special interest and politics won't get in the way but I'm all for government subsidy of various energy types, even ones that are currently dirty, as long as there's adequate environmental oversight. We're a huge country and the more micro-generation, energy diversity, and research we have, the better we'll be in the long run. If, for whatever reason one form of energy tanks, we'll need to ramp up production in another sector. Even if one form of energy isn't viable now it may be viable in some era in which oil, gas, etc becomes more expensive. We can't wait until that point to develop the technology and infrastructure. We take students up to 260lb and pair them with an appropriate TI to stay under limit (Strong). We also get paid more in increments of 20 lb over 200 lb so their's a fat fee, goes straight to the TI for mental and physical anguish. Not going to get many great answers from skydivers but there are a couple of diver drivers on here. The website that you seemed to brush off is run by Chris Schindler who is a longtime corporate and jump pilot. I'm sure you can find contact information but he's very active on this site and will probably chime in at some point. Pay isn't great and most jump pilots are in it because they're social with the skydiver industry and crowd. From what I've seen it's more about the relationships than the money.
