If this keeps up, I'll get into it this summer... ------ Michael

Was at the DZ yesterday and life was good. Wanted to get the bike out today and go for a ride but it started snowing before that could happen. Not the ideal weather to have two wheels on the pavement with. ------ Michael
-
So, what was the weather like in your neck of the woods today? ------ Michael

Thanx for the reminder. I had a bike before out here so fully aware of all that crap. It was generally better around the end of June by the time they got most of it picked up in the metro area. Now, I just have to live with snow in June. Where do I live? Jump altitude. ------ Michael

Employees or contractors? Major difference...labor laws apply to employees, contractors not so much. ------ Michael

nah...it's sitting in a hanger in Longmont Colorado in the put back together stage. ------ Michael

Definitely watch the extras too. There was one segment where an arm was broken on landing, the stunt double gets up and finishes the scene. ------ Michael

The big island was a bit more sparce than Maui but things to do: Helicopter tour out to the volcano. It's also kind of cool to hike out in the lava field around sunset. The hills come alive with the sights of flowing lava. ------ Michael

To clarify, backwards compatible with B, not A. ------ Michael

pull the older card out and post the model number. I'd assume it's a B, but easy enough to find. the Linksys wireless routers and others for the most part are pretty much plug and play. There are some configuration settings you'll want to do so (people like me) don't borrow your internet connection or tap into your home network when their power or internet connection is out. ------ Michael

Bring Grafico with you next weekend. I made it up on Friday for other reasons and didn't get a chance to make it on Saturday. Will be there for the boogie though... ------ Michael

Get Don to give you a ride in his L39. Just tell him it's the ride he promised me that I never received. Plan on walking though...

Best to figure out the standard on the lappy first. B,G are more plentiful than A (shorter range). A B router is the cheapest and I've seen them for $10. A G router even at best buy will run $69 (WRT54G) or $89 (WRT54GS) & get the $30 rebate. If you're real adventureous, update the firmware with one that isn't written by Linksys. You can increase the range with a few mouse clicks. If you're going for budget, get the Dlink DI-524 (B,G compatible) and watch for rebates on this one from Best Buy or CompUSA. When the rebates are included, it's generally $20 after. I've had experience with all of these and use the Linksys flavors primarily with aftermarket firmware. ------ Michael

Technically isn't a Fluegel black vodka and red bull ..... They were pouring red vodka and red bull when I had too many of them. Although I could have just been way off the bar stool and drinking anything they put in front of me. I do know it was before Red Bull was in the US. ------ Michael

It's called a Fluegel...The Austrians know how to party... ------ Michael

Nah. I now live at jump altitude of my former DZ. The view is awesome up here. ------ Michael
