in your condemnation and obvious superiority, you somehow managed to miss some key facts. I didn't come here to discover if My father was involved with "Norjack" I already shared that He admitted to it, gave details as to how he accomplished it, and how the money was spent. I came here to share information and relay the facts I have to the best of my abilities and in doing so, satisfy a moral obligation. this is also why I haven't bothered with the claims of others, their so-called facts, and have done very little to present my case. I was invited here to share my story. I was warned I was being proverbially tossed to wolves. if my existence offends you for some reason, then perhaps you should learn to come to terms with the existence of other beings inhabiting both the physical world and sometimes the same thread you chose to post on and read. while I still have curiosities, the Identity of "DB Cooper" is not one of them. for example some of my curiosities right now are, what medical school did you attend? and how many years experience do you have in the field of human development studies? because you should consider a refresher course, I'm not the first or only person to have the memory ability. oh and one other thing, I'm completely ok with it, if you want to consider me a nutjob. not believe me, or even ignore me. hell I'm fine with being booted from this forum even. like I said, I already know the, who, how, why, and where the money went, at least most of it. everything I've said will check out over time if it's investigated, just as the records check did.

my mothers name was "Evangeline" sometimes "Vangie" or "Angie" for short. married last names were "Dunker" and "Cooper". I don't feel comfortable making her maiden name public. I'm 100% positive my Mother was my Mother. I don't know why you think I have alot of questions about my childhood, I don't. my memory is quite good, I can actually remember a few things from before my first birthday, it's the more recent things that I have problems remembering at times.

it was mostly jibberish to me I kinda wanna say his handle was like "bulldog" or something simular but I can't remember for sure, I'll see if anyone still living remembers. I remember "CQ" something and a instance in which I was messing with one his radios and I got in trouble because someone who worked at the hospital recognized my voice and called my mom, saying I was coming over their intercom speakers in the ER. I bet all it means is CB's and radios were more popular before the internet and cellphones kinda replaced them for the general populaton anyway. as for why more crooks didn't use them? Jo, the back brace direction finder is completely impractical, don't waste time on this theory. CB walkie talkie could work to communicate with an accomplice, but there is zero evidence tha Cooper carried one. Your last post was unsettling. I hope the bad news is not about your health. 377 haven't had military confirm this yet but it appears from the orbit that my father was a ATC in Korea during the Vietnam war. still no positive confirmation on what that tattoo of his was. so I don't know if this fits with whatever theory you had with SE Asia? as for radio gear? my mother took a police scanner from his home that may have been stashed with the briefcase. I know he had at least 3 police scanners, complete with non publicly known frequencies according to my Father. one of which he either kept on his person or in his vehicle depending on the situation. aside from this, he had a couple CB base units and mobile units that were modified with toggle switches and labeled with a plastic labeling gun, to access (side band) and a limited amount of ham radio channels with what he claimed were illegal "leanier" power boosters. no idea if any of this would have any tangible connection to the "DB Cooper" case, just thought you might get a kick out of it.

I considered this scenario as well. the problem is there are the similarities that I mentioned. you also claimed he doesn't look like the sketches how ever http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7a8Ek_UI3E now lets assume it was the ticket agent who filled in the name in a crowded airport terminal asking for the name. he replies "D" "J", which sounds like "D" "A' to the agent, then my father says, no it's "Don", the agent adds the smaller but still capitalized "n", and obviously the last name "Cooper" speaks for itself. perhaps this is the eureka moment for my father to exploit the similar sounding name? does anyone know the gender of this ticket agent? is it possible, while flirting for instance that He could have filled it in? or could the scenario I just imagined, be similar to the "acting confused and incompetent" statement he made to me, thus allowing him to just fill it in?, at least part of the ticket because of noise? for example could he have added the "n" and coop portions? I know from my own life experiences various shady things with names and i d can be accomplished. my legal name is "Donald Jason Cooper, but I've always been known as "Jamie" having a different name than on my ID has rarely ever been an obstacle. I'm well aware this might seem like a stretch to you at first but bear in mind we are talking about a man planning on hyjacking the plane. theres all the reason in the world to suspect out of the ordinary events leading up to it. while he may have appeared completely calm, I'm sure he drifted between fear, and at times considered backing out. perhaps this is reflected in the name choice and its written appearance? of note, my father rarely if ever raised his voice even when making violent threats or saying "I love you", his voice was relatively the same, calm sounding low, and polite despite the subject matter. traits I only partially inherited. lol I have the unintentional gift of angering people just by posting anything at all. perhaps if you were able to hear the tone of my voice when thinking these thoughts you might not be as quick to anger?

while i may not always see eye to eye with you Jo, I wish all the best with your health! cigarette brand, drink preference, saying he was a casual smoker/ light drinker.... all these things are irrelevant. if I was going to hyjack a plane, I would change my usual brand, try a different drink, or even consume less or more than normal to foul up any potential pursuers. I remember seeing rubberband bound Raleigh stamps at his home at some point in my youth, but he smoked camels for the most part, when I was older and had more contact with him, even pooling "Camel bucks" with me and my mother at times. there were times when he had winstons too. same with the drinks, his favorite was jack Daniels and coke but he drank beer more often because the Jack/Cokes got him too drunk. and I'm sure other times he drank tequila and vodka. there are too many flavors in life and the nature of man is too unreliable for these things to be evidence. if in fact he spilled his drink, wouldn't the alcohol have remove any decent prints? also theres the name on the ticket. although apparently it was written by the teller according to what the FBI told "Jo", it bears far too many similarities to my fathers signature. I think the FBI is wrong or deliberately lying about this. when placed side by side it easily becomes obvious. while He meant to write differently and misleadingly. the spacing, placement, strokes, and angles as well as choosing to use 2 Capital letters in the first name spaced identically to my fathers is to similar. the last name has the letters again spaced identically, at the same angle with the same stoke pattern and placement. even my untrained but artistically tuned eye picked that up. I think it's written by the same person. see the attached pic to compare for yourself.

DAN COOPER left NO HANDWRITING SAMPLES - he retrieved his ONLY (handwritten)NOTE FROM FLORENCE AND DICTATED to her his DEMANDS TO THE PILOT. Have you been working on a time line? Even the yrs before the crime. this also fits with how he operated after the jump, dictating to women to write his checks and the like. as for working on a timeline? nope haven't been. basically just sticking to what He and my mother told me, and what evidence I can muster. delving into the theories of others or anything else is pretty much pointless for me. the timeline seems to be revealing itself anyway.

well I'm not a qualified handwriting expert, but even if it was the teller who wrote it, it seems to show some matches. also the lettering looked deliberately non matching and uses improper capitalization. I find that quite strange.

are there any handwriting experts available? because even though I didn't expect so, I think theres some matches in from the handwriting samples I uploaded and the ticket. the "N" on the ticket looks similar to the "M" in the samples, also the "Coop" has a larger "o" followed by a smaller "o" and the ""P" are very similar on both the ticket and the check.

They (red "fusee" type road flares) would have been more of a hinderance than a help since they emit unidirectional light and would blind the user if held at arms length, plus they would be visible to searchers. They also drip molten sulphur slag and are hazardous to use. If dropped to illuminate a landing site they would almost certainly be extinguished on impact. Tossing a lighted one out just before jumping could serve to indicate an exit point to a ground based accomplice, but thats just speculation. Sheridan Peterson mentioned use of a flashlight to aid in a hypothetical Cooper night landing. He knows better. The ground closure (descent) rate under a C9 canopy and weak illumination of objects at a distance would make a flashlight pretty useless. You'd be better off letting your eyes adapt to the ambient light and using no illumination. What made you think the unfinished tatoo was connected with Thailand Jamie? The jpg photo wasnt very clear. Is there any lettering? 377 the flare question was just speculation, He never suggested anything about them other than he stole them and thats what was used for the "bomb". I just bet he thought they would be useful either during or after the jump as well. no decipherable lettering,it almost looks as if it was altered in my opinion? I am attaching a scan of a check and handwriting on a envelope. the majority of the writing on the check was not my fathers as he didn't like to leave evidence. the only handwriting on the check are the initials "D. J." and the partial last name "Coop". but on the outside of the envelope this check and a greeting card were in, He wrote more. the words "Merry Christmas" and my assumed name "Jamie" in a way I almost feel bad sharing it because I promised never to tell on him, but as he is dead now, he can't be harmed. obviously this will not match the writing on the Dan Cooper ticket in FBI evidence, but of course it shouldn't. I have also located a lone ranger comic of my fathers, the only significance of this is that it shows he was a comic book fan. this could be a connection to the "Dan Cooper" comic ? a weak one but circumstantial at least. the "D" on the ticket appears to have been deliberately made to resemble the comic book. this was never mentioned to me by my father only that he played confused and incompetent to the teller and chose the name "Dan" because of it similarity to his actual name, because his built in senses wold pick the name "Dan" if it was muttered or announced in a crowd, and tip him off if need be, and because he felt he could easily prove he wasn't "Dan" by showing his I.D. if need be as well.

I discount all govt conspiracy theories which purport to explain Norjack, but how many people have told others they were DBC? Quite a few. How many bear a reasonable resemblance to the FBI sketch? Quite a few. Wish we knew more about the Cooper tie DNA. It apparently can rule out suspects as it did with Sheridan Cooper. Jamie, what kind of samples were given for the paternity testing? Mouth swab? Was it taken at the testing lab? How do you explain the Tena Bar money find? According to you your Dad successfully jumped and kept the loot possibly buying heavy equipment with it. Why would any loot be found on the banks of the Columbia? 377 in regards to my own DNA sample I have provided the results of. it was obtained at Lake Reigion hospital lab, under police supervision which excluded me in a paternity lawsuit. this involved both mouth swabs and multiple vials of blood being drawn as well as fingerprinting and photos being taken. the "DB Cooper" DNA evidence? I couldn't tell you for sure how they accquired their samples, only that Larry Carr stated in a radio interview I listen to that it's an incomplete sample and that the sequence that would show parentage isn't present. so I concluded my DNA sample is of no use in this case. while the FBI sample is useless for proving relationship, it would still prove definitively whether or not a potential "DB Cooper" was valid or not. as for the Tena Bar money find? I know he traveled enough that he could have planted it but this is pure speculation, I don't remember the matter being discussed. thats not to say it wasn't only that I can't recall my father saying anything about it, I remember my mother saying he planted it, but it seemed like speculation on her part as well. if I'm able to recover the briefcase and the tapes are intact, perhaps it was discussed? but in summery, I have nothing of merit to add on this aspect of the case currently. something that occurred to me today is, couldn't the road-flares have been used to increase visibility during the jump?

it's difficult not to take it personally when someone continuously ignores the name you prefer to be addressed with, choosing instead to use a name specifically to discredit and insult. add to this saying my name sounds like that of a 4 year olds, as justification for continued harassment, and when that failed to find sympathy, she tries to claim "victim" who is in some kind of danger?, even posted that she felt I am scary. preposterous! and shouldn't be encouraged or tolerated. the only poster here attempting to provoke arguments and confuse the issue seems to be that of the poster whose theory has been proven false by DNA evidence. while the explanation of the DNA sample from DB Cooper as being an incomplete sample is understandable and feasible. claiming it's tainted and planted is just plain old denial. there's no reason to reasonably assume the FBI is lying about the DNA. add to this, that this most recent series of ranting posts is immediately following my blocking of "Bob Kloss" on facebook. who seems to have a posting schedule of that immediately following when Jo takes a break here. oh yeah, his story is the same as hers except he claims to be one of the fellow conspirators with Duane, thus backing up Jo's theory. she has even claimed this forum would not exist without her, and that it somehow lends her special privileges. it's rather transparent and obvious what is going on here. I would argue that considering she got actual FBI agents removed from this forum, that this forum exists more despite her rather than because of her.

even in the quote you cite above it says that I go by the name of "Jamie" and that my full nmae is "Donald Jason Cooper" never have I stated or suggested that I go simply by my middle name. this seems painfully obvious. as for my wish to find out the opinion of "Flo" regarding my fathers photo, I flat out said I didn't seek a phone number or anything too personal, hoping instead she had a email address or website for this purpose. and on top of all this, my request was made to "Blevens" not you at all.

Skyjack1, just to refresh your memory, in the first pm you suggested my mother was a 15 year old that may have had some sort of inappropriate relations with this "Duane". thanks for your concern but I'm confident of both of my parents validity, and still a bit confused with your motives. also, My name is Donald but I am also known as Jamie, I don't go by "Jason", that is the name of one of my 4 children, so please stop using it. it's offensive and misleading, almost delusional sounding. I did more research today and I now know that my DNA is essentially worthless in this case. the lineage sequence isn't available. I also discovered that Duane Weber was excluded by comparing the DNA sample the FBI has. so I can't help but question why you are so intent on discrediting others with realistically possible candidates for the identity of DB Cooper. every single criteria of my father compared to the FBI profile of DB Cooper matches except, his age, which could easily be off as there is no tangible proof of this, only speculation. after reading what "Flo" said in regards to this most recent candidate, I think my father is even more likely it. the photo of my father with my mother and myself as an infant is the best match for Her description, and the sketches I've seen. this photo was taken in sept. 1970 she should be given the opportunity to give an opinion on it. his tattoo seems to be an uncompleted Air Force Thailand command and control symbol, which would make sense for a air traffic controller. this fits the FBI suspected description quite well. a ex military man who wasn't a pro jumper but had seen others do it. the notion that he worked for an airline was based on recognizing Tacoma from the air, is derived from his expressing happiness when a local on the plane looking out the window said "looks like Tacoma" as told by "Flo" this doesn't show he was able to recognize anything from the air, only that heard the other passenger and seemed happy about it. therefore it's erroneous unless there is yet unreleased evidence to suggest this. I feel all the circumstantial evidence points to my father, along with his personal account of it, and my mothers supporting claims, I no longer have any reasonable doubts about it. all I need now is tangible proof. so I need to look into getting that briefcase, or finding something that might have a fingerprint. you're certainly reasonable to be skeptical without it. I have a xmas card that might? and the check he initialed but it sat around under a keyboard for a few years, very slim chance of lifting prints. would the military have prints? I don't know the military very well as He told me to never enlist. I haven't followed this case over the years and don't know as much as the rest of you about it, most likely. I've been sharing what I have, simple as that. I had doubts off and n throughout my life about the claims my parents made but after the research I've done recently, it all fits almost too well. it fits better than I anticipated actually.

attached are photos the first is from September of 1970 of myself, with my Father and Mother. the 2nd pic is of my father in 1982 immediately after I snapped this photo, He became mildly rude and sort of angry saying " don't take anymore fucking pictures please" I apologized and asked why? My mother claimed that my father was a nice neat dresser wearing suits and ties, sometimes imitating Elvis Presley but that about a year after I was born He drastically changed. taking to dressing like a cowboy, in denim jeans, western shirts, a black cowboy hat, facial hair, had his teeth removed and got dentures, He never wore a suit or tie ever again after 1971. I have found a uncashed check dated 1-10-05, in a xmas card I received as a gift from my father. the majority of it is in his girlfriends writing but his initials are penned by his own hand. also this check has his social security number on it. would that be of any significance? added a pic of my fathers military tattoo was wondering if anyone could identify what it stood for?

I don't have anything but memories, statements, photos, DNA, and conjecture to back of my story either. I understand your previous notion that we should be skeptical of anyone. so how would this apply here? again it's obvious this case cannot be solved unless the FBI allows for comparison with the DNA they have. and even then that would only prove lineage. (and would be debated by those claiming it's tainted) I see many possible holes in the portions of your story that I've been able to read. sale records between friends involved with a conspiracy could easy be fabricated, most of your story seems to be from statements made by conspirators who have even at times retracted them. while I don't doubt your desire to uncover the truth, unlike some I won't mention, I do understand that you are wishing to complete this subject and move on to another one. you have already invested both time and money into your research and don't want it all to have been for naught. all of which is reasonable and understandable. but does this bring us closer to the truth? do we have any solid evidence coinnected to DB Cooper as a result? or does the evidence rely on statements from "witnesses" that haven't been proven to been on-board the plane during the incident? this is a genuine question, I don't mean to appear attacking, so please don't feel so. thanks. on a side note are you referring to "Geoffry Gray" who is a reporter for a New York based publication? if so, I may have some emails from previous communications I had with him on the subject some years ago. they ended when I got tired of answering the same questions over and over on a daily basis, and I started getting recurring headaches. He seemed uninterested for the most part, other than the photos I showed him. in the end I asked and he agreed to stay silent about the communications until a future time when I felt more comfortable sharing information. I don't mean to come off as hot under the collar. thats one of the limitations of a text only discussion, it doesn't allow for knowing ones, cadence, breathing, facial gestures and so forth. I'm not angry or hot under at anyone, I didn't appreciate being labeled a "nut" before I even posted here, that is true but thats now water under the bridge. could the "grudge" had been against the bank? did "DB Cooper" specify where the funds to cover the ransom were to be paid from? was this bank a hub of a smaller one that might have screwed him on a loan or construction project? I ask because he complained of being ripped off like that a few times. frequently complained actually, (perhaps bank records exist in the name Donald John Cooper?) my father was laid off over the winter in 1971 (collecting unemployment benefits, I think?) which is why he was able to travel to Seattle for a job that was offered by Boeing, which instead turned out to be laying people off upon his arrival. (possibly a job application might be on record?) perhaps the Grudge was against Boeing?, in conversations with my father he expressed in both word and breathing gesture and tone, a disgust against Boeing, which gave me the impression he felt slighted and as if they owed him. he pretty much, in so many words, but not directly said that's why he hijacked the plane. at one point saying he "didn't want to come home for Christmas empty handed", "that he was owed at least for traveling there over the holiday", 'you can't always play by the rules, when they keep changing them on you" "sometimes you just gotta take a chance, and sure later you find out it was wrong, but you don't know ahead of time", "I stole the money, but they stole it from me first", "they owed me and everyone else that, at least that", "do you understand, do you really, I'm not a bad guy, I just did what anyone else would in the situation" , "I had to", "I had no other way of getting the money I needed", "and they owed oit to us in the first place"... he got stuck in kind of a redundant loop with the "do you understand" " do you really", " and I"m sorry" parts. of note, my mother admitted that she did tell him not to come back if he was unsuccessful at getting the Boeing job. it was essentially his marriage in the balance, which in fact did dissolve over the xmas holiday in a standoff with police. (possible police records of this? so in summery, my father who was unemployed suddenly came into enough money to go on a drinking binge, threw out my siblings that were not his children and my mother, in December of 1971 after traveling to Seattle and back over thanksgiving. this almost sounds like the kind of change some lotto winners show.

one could make the argument that you don't care about separating fact from fiction also. for example. posting a outdated copyright notice by every post. why? copyrights are used to protect financial stakes in created written works often fictional. ( you may want to update and add the words "ALL RIGHTS RESERVED" and your name in capital letters otherwise the copyright notice is invalid) you seem to have taken a questionable approach to my obviously noble desire to find out what opinion this "Flo" might have regarding the photos of my father. boasting "that is privileged info" reserved to an elite group aka "conspirators" of which you are a member of. one could easy wonder if this is why the case has never been solved, if all "Flo" has to chose from for suspects are those filtered thru by financially motives persons. also your cronie "snoman" has taken to sending me private messages, I thought I disabled this feature but? he has suggested that I should "fix thyself" and that I use "too many big words" and have incompetently fabricated a myth about my parents. the problem with abandoning this "myth" is that it's reality, there is no other story to take it's place. I am now an adult who has lived under an assumed name for nearly 40 years as a result of this case, most of which I was also under the assumption that I could someday face charges or even be imprisoned for my relationship and participation in my mother's deliberately withholding of evidence. obviously of which I now feel she did for hopes of financial gain. my parents marriage fell apart as a result of this case, negatively changing my family and how we related to each other forever. even now my siblings and myself are estranged. I'm still interested in what is thought happened with My father in Asia, and this "grudge theory, but as for solving the DB Cooper case, while I feel ,at the very least my account of my childhood and the events I witnessed should be considered as valid as anyone elses claims, I've come to the conclusion that if everyone is presumed to be lying, there is no way to solve the case! unless the DNA is compared all other efforts are pointless and a waste of time. heres why, lets say I was able to get into the attic and recover the briefcase with the cassette recordings of the conversations intact, lets even assume there was a $20 bill from the heist still in the briefcase along with some of my fathers "chicken scratch" (as my mother called them) financial records. the large Black and White photo might have been placed in it too? lets say it was all there and in good enough condition. the first thing I'm sure would come up and I suppose justifiably so, would be the possibility that I fabricated the evidence. which wouldn't even be entirely wrong, I am one of the voices on the tapes, I was there when it was stashed. none of this proves that the subject matter in the conversations were valid either. My father could have been lying, my mother as well,everyone could be lying. who's to say my mother was right about the briefcase? there may be a police report confirming that she was accused of stealing it from my father but it wasn't recovered so? can't even prove it was stolen to begin with. she was hired to go thru his financial records and make them presentable, therefore she could have fabricated them as well. my sister and a few others most likely would confirm the existence of the briefcase. but even then, remember, everyone is presumed to be lying so it doesn't matter. so, realistically the DNA is all that matters, and it seems the FBI isn't interested in comparing, and even if they did, it's widely regarded as "contaminated" and worthless so essentially this case is at a insurmountable brick wall. as such , within the current perimeters allotted, it is unsolvable! as perpexingly self defeating as this thread seems to me, I have gained some information, a couple new friends, and I no longer have some of the fears I have shouldered the majority of my life from this case. both my mother and I worried for many years that We could be prosecuted for with-holing evidence, or for being accessories after the fact. this was a very real concern for my us. after reading and posting here, it's now obvious to me that father didn't need to be as paranoid as he was either. He himself could come here if he was still alive and noone would even believe him. lol I am changing my profile pic and leaving a link here to a photo of my DNA markers, for the purpose of comparing with the sample the FBI claims to have from DB Cooper I have edited the photo to include my email address and a note saying "DNA from son of DB Cooper?" so I may be contacted if such a comparison should ever occur. thank you. I'm not familiar with it. also of interest is the suggestion b4 I posted that My father served in the military Asia during the 60's. he did, but why is that of interest in regards to the Db Cooper case? He was a air traffic controller as I mentioned, and that I only know from my mother, and from finding a large black and white photo of him in uniform when I was a child. a photo which strangely enough even to me, I don't currently know the location of?

If it's in a PM, then you can safely assume there's a reason for it, and ignoring this for your own benefit is opening yourself up for litigation. thank you for your opinion and I assume genuine concern but, I welcome anyone who wants to sue me. bring it on.
