I missed nude pics? Anyone have any links? Hehe. The only reason I haven't been around is because there are not enough hours in a day. But now that I have a class in which I can just sit around and check out the old forum again, I have a lot more time. I actually don't use any IM service. I am registered for AOL IM but I never use it. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

Well, how has everyone been? It's been a while. Would someone kindly sum up the last 2 months for me? Hehe. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

I'm sure that tube stoes are great because they last long, but remember that they also cost money, where-as rubber bands are usually free at the DZ. Its not that hard to change a rubber band but it can be a nuisance. Oh well. I'm just cheap. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

I have seen an FXC misfire so I know enough to have an opinion on it. The incident I saw resulted in 2 canopies out. I believe that a 1500' margin of error is too much. Is it possible that the student in question turned it off and then back on again in the plane on the way to altitude? This could cause it to recalibrate to the higher atmosphere. A good freefly rig would be a rig with tuc-tab riser covers not velcro (velcro is bad for freeflying), zero bridal exposed, a BOC with preferably a F-111 PC (this is good because it won't slip out of the pouch as easily as a Zero P PC), a tight closing loop, tight leg and chest straps, and expecially secure main and reserve pin covers. Someone add on if I have forgotten anything. There is nothing wrong with Javelins as long as it is up to date. Make sure it is safe according to the standards of your rigger. Personally I jump a Vector 3. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

Finally we have a good debate going here. I am very sorry to hear about the accident. I know nothing of the incident or of the location or canopy design specifics so I will leave it at that. Take it easy out there people. Take everything into consideration. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

Thats insane! I knew that there were some similarities but not that many! I wonder how many other presidents hold similarities like that. I bet noone has ever checked though since they wouldn't be as popular. I bet Grover Cleveland and Gerald Ford have about 100 similarites. Hehe. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

Sounds pretty cool. I am still working on getting a 3-way head-down going. I'm close but not quite there yet. Great job. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

I agree. There are some hot girls around the DZ. Just because they are hot doesn't mean that you should be mean that you should be overly nice to them, but just because you are overly nice doesn't mean that that guy is hitting on you either. Its all so complicated. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

The Westwind Beech at Skydive Greene County has a sound system on board. I think that its more annoying than anything. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

That is an awesome picture! Anyone know how it was taken? I'm jealous. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

You are always learning in this sport. Just because you are experienced doesn't mean that you know everything. I'm not saying that you feel as though you do know everything I'm just stating a fact. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

I really like that name Alex, Jessica. Hey, my girlfriends name is Jessica. Coincidence? Hehe. I love cats. Mine usually bug me to death but oh well. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

King Airs rock all but wait till you get to a plane with a big door like a Twin Otter or Caravan. These are usually slower than king airs though so they all have their own advantages. Great job! Safe landings, Alex D-23912

Blade running is good but I voted for wingsuits. It might not be the most popular but it has been open to the public eye for almost 100 years now. It brings the concept of flight closer to people and might inspire them more. Plus its fun as hell! Safe landings, Alex D-23912

One thing; Its usually good to start off flat packing because that teaches you more about the canopy than PRO packing. Ask your local packer about both methods. If he can't tell you about flat packing than maybe you should ask someone else. Good luck. Don't give up. Packing really sucks at first but the more you do it the more you will like it. Caravan both grand and regular, King Air, Twin Otter, Westwind Beech, C-206, C-182, CASA, and a Twin Bonanza. My pick would definately be the Otter or CASA it just depends on the dicipline. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

That doesn't sound too comfortable. Have you ever thought about using a pullup cord to hold your leg straps together for freeflying? It helps to keep them tight and it should stop them from rubbing around a little. The only problem is that it makes it annoying for packing. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

I don't see why you would want large rings on mini risers. I would think that the mechanical advantage would have more to do with the riser width and the amount of area the riser is in contact with the rings that the actual ring size themselves. Aside from that it just wouldn't look as nice. There is nothing wrong with either setup in my opinion but if thats how you like it, then go for it. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

What if there were more midget skydivers? I wonder....... Sincerely, Troll Safe landings, Alex D-23912

I caught a freebag in my suspension lines once. Its funny because sometimes in the air you seem to forget just how fast you are really going. I landed uneventfully, somewhat sideways due to the off center drag. I don't recommend it though. I have my freebag save in for my life. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

I would hate to be above that when that accidentally cuts away. I don't think the cutaway handles would be very pretty but then again, noone looks pretty in freefall. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

Man, at least you guys have jobs. I am sortof unemployed at the moment. I do have a job but it isn't giving me much. I am a guitar teacher making $16 an hour. The only problem is that I only have 3 students, and none were there this week. There is still packing at the DZ though and I will be a S/L JM very soon. I guess its something to look forward to. I really wish it would cool down though. It sucks losing a liter of water through sweat on only one pack job. Safe landings, Alex D-23912

Hey, we did that round canopy and creeper thing also. Only ours weren't creepers it was this cart which was sortof like a wagon. It was really cool except for it broke when I was on it because they handed me the wrong line groups in the wrong hands and it was very hard to keep inflated because it was sideways. I always take the blame though. Oh well. Safe landings, Alex D-23912
