  1. It sounds like a good thing to me© I would do it© Unfortunately my DZ isn't a really really big one© But there are a few people that I can turn to for assistance in hook turns, and yes, I am starting slow© I think you should probably have a D license before taking such a course or even attempting any fast landings© I know I didn't wait that long© I had a couple of close calls but nothing serious© Be careful people© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  2. I hardly consider $150 as a free ride to altitude! But I guess its not bad for a jet jump© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  3. Grasshopper, care to post a link to the article where it says he can go as fast as someone still in freefall? I don't believe it© This would set off any AAD© Of course, he might not wear one, but still©©© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  4. Sorry, I'm retarded© There is elsatic stows on my risers© I don't use them though© They seem like more of a hassle than just tucking the extra line into the side riser covers© Just make sure that you have the pin pushed in all the way© I had a few openings this past weekend where one brake was unstowed© Real easy to fix, it just took me a sec© to figure out what was going on© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  5. A Grand Caravan is a 208© I have jumped one of those and a 206 more than any other plane© We now have a king air that climbs 1,500' a minute!!! Its freakin fast as hell! Look out Mullins! Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  6. I am using the standard browser fonts© Nothing different here© Thats weird© Oh well© Godspeed guys! Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  7. What are you guys talking about? I do see periods© Am I missing out on something here? Or are you talking about Safe landings, Alex C-30872? Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  8. 2 elastic stows? Mine don't have 2 elastic stows© Are you sure this isn't just something that the person added to their convience? I just got mine straight from RW unmodified© Just wondering© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  9. The 6 digit number is your USPA membership number© Your license numbers come when you take the tests and send those in© You keep the same numbers forever as long as you stay a member© If you get a license number it will probably be 5 digits long and it will say the license before it, i©e© A-34946© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  10. Chop it and go for your reserve© It takes away just about all error© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  11. Hey speedracer, maybe when you are trying to move forward and backwards you are de-arching© This does cause potato-chipping as well as being tense© I know for a fact that not having your hips pushed forward will cause this© That could be the problem© Remember, arch with your hips, not your chest© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  12. You guys are so bad! Seriously though© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  13. Sorry© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  14. I just got my brand new Vector 3 this past weekend© I got it with velcroless toggles© Freakin' awesome! Definately way better than velcro© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  15. AndyMan is right about what he is saying, but I don't think you could say that that is why most female skydivers suck at landing© I guess girls just suck at landings at your DZ or they just suck period© Sorry girls© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  16. I had a very similar experience on my 207th jump this past weekend© I was jumping completely new gear© My PC is a little weird and we were having trouble cocking it© My Master Rigger said that it was ok to jump, it just looked like crap© Well, I almost cut-away because of a PC in tow© I'm not trashing the rigger or anything, I'm just sharing my story© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  17. You just can't beat a tail-gate© Thats why my vote goes to a CASA© A twin otter comes close, but I mean come on© I don't think its fair to include a hot air balloon or a helicopter because they are completely different from all of the other aircraft© Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  18. I wish I remember the 80's better as well© I was only in them for 8 years though© Fun times! Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  19. I have no experience jumping a pull out but I have heard a few things. I have heard both good and bad things. The one good thing is that its impossible to have a PC in tow because the container is opened to allow the PC into the airstream. Thats just one good point. I'm sure others will like to add on to this. For the record, I am fine with my BOC. Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  20. I'm gonna have to agree with skyslut on this one. Most people just refer to an audible altimeter as a dytter. I guess its because it was the first good audible out there. I have a Skytronic Pro and I love it. I definately recommend jumping with an audible, whatever kind it may be. It has saved me a few times. Safe landings, Alex C-30872
  21. I like the 80's look. But I don't need that anymore now that I have a girl. Have fun guys. Safe landings, Alex C-30872

  23. I have psycho packed my Sabre several times. I am planning to solely psycho pack it from now on. It works really good. My openings were right on heading. I definately recommend trying it to see if you like it. Safe landings, Alex C-30872

    sex

I too have never had sex though. This was never a choice before but it has become one for the moment. I don't plan on waiting till I'm married but I will wait a little longer until I am completely ready. As for skydiving, I am ready now. I hope to make my first jumps of the year this saturday. Can't wait!! Safe landings, Alex C-30872
