Then would someone tell Hannes that, because he thinks he's on BASE. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

What makes everyone think just because someone is a "rigger", that they would know what to do in a case like this? Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

[N] is it possible to pack your chute backwards?

I didn't have any problems with mine.

[N] is it possible to pack your chute backwards?
bodypilot1 replied to superman0710's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
By stupidity. If the canopy came attached to the cardboard card, that clearly has the line groups marked such as right front, right rear and steering line, then it pretty self explanitory to hook up. Regardless, a 4 line check should always be done when attaching a conopy to the risers. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -
Remember, no question at your level is a stupid question.

BirdMan has Pantz in stock or a 2 week turn around time. They can be used for freeflying, along with smokin' your freinds on any tracking dive. Oh yah, and the chicks dig'em. Feel free to PM me with any questions. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

In that case I'd have to say the way the bridle is folded in the pc would have to be a determining factor. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

The first thing you do when packing a round is to make sure it's not inside out, always. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -

That's almost unbelievable I'd have to say! If it is a true fact, that rigger needs to return his ticket to the FAA IMO. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -
If you think it should be done though you've never had a problem, I'd say it's proactive , maybe..... See you May 5th Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Anyone in here going? Just curious. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

I hear ya, but I've never had anything like that happen with over 800+ wingsuit jumps with an original hacky. IMO, it's weak throws that cause most the knots in this case. But that just my opinion. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

I'd have to say go. I went to mine.....um.....4 yrs ago? It was great to see old friends I hadn't seen in years, also I was voted "Best aged Hunk of cheese" as they called it, and they gave me a HUGE gift basket wine and cheeses, so that made it all worth going.

IMO you get what you ask for. Their 'wingsuit friendly' pc's only say the bridle is longer and the diameter is larger then the normal production pc's. If you want something other then that, simply "ask" them to make it for you. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

First Tandem in Vegas this weekend...?'s
bodypilot1 replied to raleighwood's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
The Tandem Instructors will be free of alcohol and drugs you can bet, but they may refuse to take someone they feel is drunk, it's their call. Remember though, if you throw up on them, they have the right to throw up back on you, or pee on your back. Have fun! Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -
For those of you with GTI's that PM'd me to post some pics of the wing extentions, here they are, and you can see the pics I posted below. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Any system can be used. If the system you jump doesn't have a movable student handle that actually releases the drouge to deploy the main canopy, you can rig a dumby handle for them on the harness to pull at their assigned altitude, and watch that they pull it at their assigned altitude, before you progress them to the next level of training. Tonto I seen one of the new Monkey fists last week, and I'd have to say I was surprised at how light it actually was. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
