Not to be abrasive but, how about learning to be the best BASE jumper you can and dont worry about mounting a camera on your head before you have even started? Then may put one on when your skills are good enough? Most good quality camera flyers, whether it be from a plane or BASE, are exellent at their skills, most "do think about getting the quality shot", as their past experince in becoming a great BASE jumper or skydiver has let the skills become almost second nature. BASE jumping is like no other sport. Learning to do it good enough just to save your own ass, should be the only thing your thinking of when you are new to it. Be safe. The PD approved slinks on the reserve also eliminate having your reserve riser metal links from digging into your back after a fresh repack, as some people have complained about. It's called a non articulated harness. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

I have seen MANY experienced people land on that asphalt downwind, or into the wind over the last 10yrs there, and at times the ONLY reason they stand up the landings is because of the gravel thats letting them slide their feet on the asphalt, as the small canopies they are flying no longer are producing enough lift to keep then hanging in the harness. I have even seen many get get off of it with bloody hands and knees from it, and a few even with a ruined harness and container from sliding face down or on their ass. The prefered landing into the wind into the wind pattern is always better for your canopies lift, but at times people do make mistakes and misread the winds. Be prepared to do a great PLF , or jump at a DZ that has a good smooth grass landing area that you can slide on, is always a good choice. Jump canopy that is right for your exit weight and your experience level. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

I can answer a few of these! Because after the tax payers have already spent about 2 million dollars keeping the person alive for the last 20+ years on death row, we might as will spend the extra $15 so their arm doesnt get infected. Some still are. Bubbles are clear. As they are spitting out their teeth. Because father-in-laws dont usually BITCH! Then every mans life would be a failure. That's only because he tried it his wifes way the first time. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

And you did a great job today in your new GTI. Show them the video in did for you and I'll download the other jumps off my camera that we did to show them. With your log book signed by me for your FJC and all the video, I dont think they will dispute you fly very well and have been properly trained on emergency procedures with the wingsuit. If all else, feel free to have them ring me up. Great flying with you James, have a safe trip back. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
