Shawn Thats great you had a chance to learn something from the debriefs on the larger flocks. And from what I was told the smaller flock rocked as well.
-
Thanks for coming Jim!

Tandem should have the right of way for any landing pattern on final aproach, as they are LESS manuverable then any other canopy in the pattern. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -
Manufacturers never suggest one one top of the other, so why would anyone pack this way? Packing a customers rig doesn't mean changing their gear unless requested to do so, now does it? Usually makes more bulk in this case. If a someone asks, I try to suggest the correct size reserve for the container. Thats their choice, not mine. Have you ever heard PD say anything of the sort? They do have great products though.

Unless the tandem was over the city lights of Los Angeles or San Fransisco! Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Please explain, "Oh Wise One", on where to put the risers and metal Rapide links anywhere other then the bottom of the packing tray, which means up against the back of the user, when packing according to the manufacturers instructions? Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Congrats.

The weather put a bit of a damper on alot of planned jumps for the weekend, and did detour a few wingsuit flyers plans to attend. We did managed to get 3 late afternoon jumps on thursday when the weather cleared enough, 4 jumps on friday working on exits and agressive positioning for faster formation building, and 5 jumps on saturday with a large fomation group building to 19 wingsuit flyers. We had 2 flocks jumping on saturday, with a nice flock of 5-6 flyers in one group and as big as 19 flyers on the larger formations. We also had alot of big smiles when everyone landed.
-
Yes, unfortunatly the weather was a big deterrent for some, but we did have 26 wingsuit flyers total for the weekend. Thursday 3 late jumps, Friday 4 jumps, Saturday 5 jumps and Sunday was rained out. I'll post some pics tomorrow when I get some video grabs. Other V1 flyers were Dingo, Brenden and Pablo (speedformula). Avery has a V1 but chose to fly his S3, and Pablo put back on his S3's after one flocking dive. Be safe. I knew it wasn't just the rigging that's making his back hurt. Better do good or he'll have to trade you in for two 20yr olds. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

It's not as bad as it sounds, really. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

See there, you answered your own question! >

Hmm, never heard of "classical diving", must be a new discipline.... The equipment is the same as you'd see on any camera flyer that exits from a plane though. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
