Maestro is a "2RG" (2 rig Guy) now, With Venezuela colors. I have fear that we lost him to the other side but there is still hope. Take care, space

So the media doesn't know the exact location, we have have called it "The Best Base Jump" but have coded the initials TBBJ to mean "The Best Blonde joke". When you see the linked link that has the comment "I'm The Way" (ITW) the next link to the next TBBJ link will have the coordinates to the LZ bar. Just tell them (Patricia or Nadia) the password I send you and all is yours. take care, space TBBJ Sending PM.

Hi Lika, I can't be there those days. My work is calling at this time. Let me know if you pass thru Munich. We would very much enjoy seeing you again. Take care, space

Your photo CD is burned. I can't be there at your time. Send me a PM or email on the course of action. take care, space

See you there! Ummmm how early is early? Are you planning a "2RB2B" (2 Rig Back to Back) early or a "1RB2P2B" (1 Rig Back to Pack to Back) earlier? take care, space

Nick, Please don't pull the list. 21 of the list were Friends and jumpers I knew. Let "New school" do what they want. Let "Old School" continue as we have. Take care, space

Probaly not in this case, but check for battery acid contamination. It will taste quite sour. take care, space

You should have research. I think that your post will get ripped apart and you with it. There are many topics on this subject. Delete your post now or suffer the wrath of experienced jumpers giving you crap for not even trying a little bit. take care, space

IMHO, The list stays. Yes, I am unhappy that Nick doesn't change the summary from what is purported to have happened to what the locals have stated. But it is his list. I think he should go a step farther and categorize the fatalities more so than he has done for example: 7 have died doing video back to earth on exit. 6 have died doing frontloops on exit, 4 died doing proximity flying...... If you don't want to be on the list, then don't jump. Should "we", the old school, sugar coat everything like tandem schools do? Fuck no. You fuck up like the rest, you die like the rest. One's only chance now is to die in a new way unthought of before. Then thats's OK in my book. But to repeat the same mistakes over and over again and have fatalities over and over again because there was no list is simply stoopid. Disrespect comes from people not learning from the pioneers in how to not to die doing what the pioneers in mistakes did. If, Bla-Bla dies the same way as 7 others, then maybe not going this route is a great idea. Why would one not want to share this with others? Morality? Take care, space

It would happen at line stretch and loading and so not much of a physical risk more than normal. Things would have to be extraordinary for it to break before the canopy is fully extracted. I have seen something similar (extraordinary) where the rocket of a deployment system accelerated in the beginning to open the container but overloaded the attachment point of the canopy midway through extraction phase. take care, space

Please guys, delete your PA posts. There is a lot to be learned here. Take care, space

I am wondering also Tom. I know that there is a technical lesson here that we all could benefit from. I've never heard of this situation happening before and as a rigger/BASE jumper, I would like to know. I just hope he tells us. I've seen a lot. I've learned a lot and am still learning. take care, space

Nah, Outrager was higher than any winger I'ver seen. take care, space

This is a technical discussion of why "the bridle ripped clean off" from this post First BASE jump . so please keep it that way for those of us who wish to learn. So why did the bridle rip clean off? take care, space #64 - Muff

Wow! Great time! weather was not so cooperative, some hikedowns occured, and I saw Outrager fling himself in a wingsuit at 500m over the LZ. I have seen a lot of wingsuit flights there from the other big boyz but Yuri looked to be at least 200m higher. Take care, space

Dang, I guess i am still too conservative, I guess the new age term for my type of jumping would be "Anti proxy". I try to fly and open as far away from the object, planet and problems as possible all at the same time. I am somewhat succesful as I am making the LZ at ITW with an extra 150m under canopy with my new tracking suit and technique. I really like flying to the point where everything is farthest away. I have been there for another stunt some years before. What you guys did is awesome. CongratS. take care, space

That was in the other thread that they be arguing. This thread is about how one's canopy will fill one's jeans size proportionate. Bagomatic took some doing though. My first attempt resulted in a 360 line twist from 70m. Later attempts I learned how to set up the bag and not move around it inducing the a 360. In the final "Best case scenario" I just attached my static line skydiving bridle on the A (with my Vector/Raven skydiving rig) and jumped (late '80's). But Calvin19, I do take issue with you posting that PCA/SL is 99.9% easier to do. The figure is more like 999.99% if one has to tie stabilization ties to mount the D-bag on the A to prevent it from twisting. take care, space
