It is.. I had an extremely hard time holding the camera still when he was busy with one of his speeches again.. Yeah.. Gomo.. OMG.. did you use ANY of that? I thought your videos were rate PG? That's a big improvement. The point I was trying to make is easier on your version. Look at the wingsuit flyer below Jari. See that tail? It's a testament to the strength of the suit. (But we did get some 'accellerated wear' jumping out of that thing, didn't we, Jarno? ) -

Soon as I get the big Kahuna put together I'll assemble a preview. I had a bunch of personal business stuff go very sideways on me and it has delayed me a little. But I've got great footage of you and Cielo, Alanab, cause everybody wanted to skydive with you guys (Balloons and Helicopters and Planes... Oh my!)

I had a lot more luck exiting from the starboard side when I was filming in my camera suit so I think that's the lift or "up" side. The port side exit was a lot more turbulent. The Jari exit shows that there is a definite very hard push from the sides to the center. If two camera fliers were on either edge of the ramp, they usually passed each other getting pushed to the other side. The slipstream is really clean, it's just really, really FAST. On the birdman exit, check out how tightly the suit is pressed against the flier, and how far back (and high!) the first out are. If anybody can get a copy of McCordia's Herc Boogie Birdman DVD, do so. It is the coolest thing out there, and the coolest, most dramatic non-BASE wingsuit video there is. -

It's a whole lot different than a Skyvan, which is my only other tailgate experience. There seems to be plenty of time to get in position in the dead air as you drop below the ramp, but then WHOOOOMP! You are either flying right then, or flailing. -

Good luck Aubrey! You'll have a ton of fun, and the beer is defintely cheaper just about anywhere else Once you can consistently exit the Herc in an S3 stable, everything else is a piece of cake! -

Justi I thought you came with the Alana package!? Antioch (the towns right around Byron are Discovery Bay, Tracy, Brentwood, Oakley, and Antioch) I once did a cross country, a really, really stupid one, with Girlfalldown, Iwan VideoScooter and some other peeps that don't post much here. We got out over Antioch, flew over Oakley, and landed in Brentwood. Bonnie came and got us. Jumping at Byron is cool.

The LT is just a little too Goldwingish for me. I like to be able to remove all the bags from time to time. The GT is a nice compromise between the two. With the bars all the way back, I have no problem riding the RS from San Francisco to San Diego non stop. I'm sure the LT is much more comfortable, though.

I've got the K1200RS, and the only complaint I have is the weight of the thing, but enjoy two up long distance touring, so it's not that big a deal. The front end is a little heavy compared to a conventional fork suspension, but not at high speed. They really should show more of the amazing anti-lock brakes on the bike. The brake system on that sucker is like a magic trick. I think on that S bike they got almost a hundred pounds off the bike, and put another 30 something horsepower in. Beautiful to ride, handles great, and it's easy to ride all day, as opposed to a Hayabusa. Great ad, though. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, I watch, and I encourage my kids to watch, too. Getting over the sight of blood at an early age can be a life saver, for your children and for other children as well. Lots of kids get minor head wounds that bleed like MAD. If they can keep from panicking, or even better, keep a wounded kid from panicking, that's great stuff.

Well, they could do novacaine and hold her down and pull the teeth and that would be covered by my HMO, but I don't have the heart for that. Two teeth with anesthesia is 7 bills and the braces are 4K. The whole thing is just under 5. Maybe a benefit to living in Cali is the increased competition amongst the teeth-benders keeping costs down. I wonder how much my tax return is going to be....
