This album is the first outing with my new digital camera. Pretty cool, huh? In a couple weeks, it'll be full of horrifically fun pictures from Perris! Whooo-hooooo!

Damn! Me too! I'm obliged to take the best care of my kids that I am able too, though, and I am. You're gonna want to be there when they graduate from high school, cause I am chucking everything. See I got this plan. KatieBear is gonna make General, and she's gonna get my girls into Westpoint. I will then do tandems during the day, and open a nice little cocktail lounge at the Byron Airport to get drunk in at night. My wife will have a fulltime job just looking at me and shaking her head.

Nice to see you Dave. I've got a 45-70 that's a real crowd pleaser. It's nice to not have to use a spotting scope to see how you're shooting. Those half-inch holes show up just fine without one!

jp Furnari, Diablopilot, could hook you up with Paulie at Davis. He's the only guy I've ever jumped a spaceball with. It's a combination of the weight of the shot in the tennis ball and the length of the pull-up cord.

Ed, how do you keep that foxy blonde chick? Really. See, I thought you were going after the ear-hair thing. Now that I'm going bald, I have to shave my ears. It's pretty cool. I just go right from my sideburns right up over each ear. In a few more years, I'm going to let it grow and do an ear-hair combover.

Hmmm. Serenity lessons. You will be great, Mary! Students forget that skydiving is fun, and your expression in freefall will be a great reminder to them. I don't see you having to give many "relax" handsigns! I passed groundschool last Monday, maybe I'll get the jumps in this weekend. Congratulations! JP

Our brother Cajones is putting extra features of Holly in his Eloy Holiday Boogie feature. I put together a copy of the disc of images I sent to the folks who donated to Sangiro so he can integrate it into his movie. If you have the disc, Holly is on 025, 22a,026, 76, 77, 86, 89, 48, and 244. She's on more than that, but those one's for sure. Ed, I'll have the disc on the way to you tomorrow. Such a pretty person. JP

Z-dog! It is our standard practice to give the roll of film to the buyer! If you purchase video and stills at my dropzone, and you purchase the DVD option, you will get the exposed roll of film (I will retain nothing) and a cool edited DVD with music (two tunes, one for the ride up, and one for the jump) With the DVD the editing is digital, so there is no drop-off in quality. If we do a deal directly, like if you want to get video of your hundredth jump or something, I'd ask for a roll of film from you, you to cover my jump, and give me a jump ticket or $20. I'd give you a firewire of the jump, or a VHS, and the exposed roll of film. I think you'll find that pretty common in the US. Some super-dynamite camera fliers will want more $, but not a whole lot more.
