OK, you have to make bird colonel, and be in command of the ROTC detachment at UC San Diego. They can pack tandems for BillVon on the weekends. My midlife crisis is represented by this big f*cking lizard. See, it just isn't around if I've been out playing at the DZ. Hell, Katiebear, I'd hate to see what kind of hideous reptile I'd be creating if I was working night shift in an airconditioned metal container on a pile of sand! Scary. That'd be one huge f*cking lizard. And if this is my midlife crisis, I'm due to be dead at 79.5.

BZZZT! WRONG! It featured a comic troupe from Britain..... But heck, I may be misquoting. I'm paying bills. Whoo. Thrilling. I can even pay some of them online! This lizard has these dangly things under it's chin, kinda like a turkey thingie. But green and leathery.

No foolin! Tomorrow has potential. It better, cause I have this huge fucking lizard breathing down my neck. It's hard to concentrate on anything else. Plus, on rainy days I start messing around with my gear, wondering what else there is left to own. (Yes, I work for the Very Big Corporation of America - name the film) I took my PC 120 apart and put it back together. I've got a couple parts left over, too. Must not be all that important...

Gluing new foam into my D-box? The foam surrounding my camera is getting ratty, and I've got some replacement stuff, but what adhesive works best? I used hot glue, but it melts the foam No damn good. Any suggestions? Brand names? Thanks. JP

Harsh. Funny, but harsh. I'm pretty deeply religious, but I'm pretty anti-evangelical too. The more time you gotta spend telling people something is really great, the less likely it's gonna be really great. I'd really like to see a Catholic recruitment tent at a boogie! Man! Yeah it's the mighty Q! He needed me IN that one so we could have speeded it up! He's awesome on his belly! You gotta fly on your belly to get into big hybrids! He was in the same coach rating class as me, and the whole point of coaching is improving belly skills of students, and relative fall rate and stuff. I think it's just a ploy to get students down the dark path sooner, though!

I had to get a ruling on that very subject! It turns out that persons like ourselves, with multiple personality disorder, can only credit the personality in control at the time of departure from the aircraft. Bullshit, huh?

I had a really bad one of Connie that I deleted. She IS my mentor after all, and a mentee has to show a little respect. I'll have many more up next weekend. I'm getting better with the camera, and got a nice zoom for ground work. And the guy in red is a very hardcore freeflier who has been coming back to the light! He's doing great!

I think this is a cool service, and it's almost worth an airplane ride to attend. The Guano team is a really freindly, welcoming bunch, and they have been a big factor in getting me vertical. Heck, I met Lummy for the first time at this camp either last year or the year before. His GreenHornetHelmet was brand-new.
