    Two. 488 and about 588. First one was diving line twists. Second one was probably a pilot chute in tow.

    BIll, I agree completely with your argument. I have Cypres's in both my rigs. I depend on them not at all. I will be supremely embarassed if they save me. And I willl buy beer. I've had two reserve rides, neither has been proximity induced. My Cypres is for a f*ckup. Plain and simple. A Cypres fire is a mistake. So is a house fire. Insurance is a good thing.

    Hoym, I'm digging the pictures. That's a Porter? Your'e proximate the whole time, and that's what matters. The tandem master looks like he keeps the student's legs fetal as a matter of course. That's different than my DZ, but if it works, whatever! Nice shots. Bring them in!

    Lori, I don't know. I just don't. My friends from law enforcement, cops, men of action, died when they didn't have action. When they slowed down, they slowed all the way down. Some guys don't have multiple speeds. They just have "GO" and "STOP". It's hard for some of us to learn "SLOW". I hope and pray for your Dad that he can learn "slow". And I pray for you. JP

    Be careful on that exit will ya. Oh, I'm One of The World's Most Boring Skydivers, regardless of my clumsiness. Formation exits with The Decapitator are WAY out in the future. That photograph is just really cool. Flying with the plane not in a full dive just sounds pretty neat.

    Ah, that's NEAT! I am having a hard time waiting for mine. I've got MadJohn's GTi in my locker, which is great!, but I can't wait to get my custom suit. Formation flying with the Kingair! Gonna be so cool.

    I drove up just as you guys were getting out of the cold showers. Damn. I'm going to miss showing up to freezing people walking over the gravel. Bonnie has hot shower trucks this year, and the espresso truck will be there with brefass every morning. Very hi-tone and supercoolio.

    Just don't drop them in water this year. Man! That was funny! Last year, on the day after Christmas, me, BigBen, and Cornholio cruise in to the BentProp and the drunk monkeys are three deep on the bar. I meet KatieBear and LouDiamond, and SkyMonkeyOne turns around with shots of tequila in both hands and declares "I am the Monkey, and you are the flunky! Drink this!" So I obeyed. And then I introduced myself. Goodgolly. I was so dehydrated after three days of that I was crapping dustbunnies.
