I agree, Hoym, but it's bad etiquette. It eats up a ton of HH's bandwidth. What we are supposed to be doing is putting our photos in the gallery section that has been provided and link to it. I, however, am a postwhore with poor impulse control. I love when somebody needs a picture, and I can put one up quickly, or when we get a topical string going. I'm also using the 20 mm Canon, and have used autofucus real successfully, with the fill flash too. It works OK when the subject is not moving fast relative to the camera, like RW, but fails on openings or really fast closures. My freefly photography is improving, and I'll be needing that 14mm. Last weekend I had to give a push-back motion to the three guys I was up with so I could frame them all. The 14 is the way to go with freefliers if you can get inside. On the attached photo (Ha! Managed it again!) I really would have felt more comfortable being closer and using a wider lens. But the 14 would put me too far back of most stuff, with my flying style/ability. It works superbly on single-person or two way shoots. A 14 is on my wish list. Edit: Yes Freaky, it's a fixed WA lens.

how quickly is quickly? Have you tried continuous shooting, how many pics can you take in a minute and what memory card do you have? You have been reading the forums, grasshopper, and are asking all the right questions.

I use the "save for web" option and degrade the quality to 50%. JPEG at medium. Then just keep reducing the height and width until you're under 60.

I've got about 10 GTi jumps, all on my Spectre 150@1.6. Soft on-heading openings, and I don't see myself going to anything else. The birsduit openings feel a lot like crew openings, lots of forward speed, subterminal vertical speed.

I stayed there last year with BigBen and Cornholio in one of the "family rooms" two queens and two full bunks. It was clean and safe. It's a cinder-block motel named Super 8. All we used it for was sleeping a few hours a night and showering, and it was great for that because it was so close. It's definitely not a Sheraton, Hyatt, or Embassy Suites, but it was comfortable and clean.

There's two different kinds. The good kind uses a blank charge to lauch fishook thingies attached to wires. Once you get the target of your affection attached then you can pull the trigger as often and for as long as you like. "How do you like me now?" ZAP! "Who's your Mommie?!" ZAP! The regular stun gun thing would never work on a freefly-ninja like TIMMEH! He'd have it turned on you in a heartbeat. Never get within arms reach of a ninja. They can grab you and fly through the air and break shit. Very dangerous.

Well, I guess I'm lucky I work/jump at a pretty family freindly DZ. The DZM's are married couple, and the gear store owner is married too, with a daughter just a little younger than mine. Plus I'm 40, huh. What the heck's she gonna do to me? Seriously, skydiving has made me a happier person, and after a couple of years without getting killed, my mom and mother in law have come out to watch me do my thing. After you've done it for a while without breaking yourself, they'll calm down and probably come out. I don't think you should rush it. You'll be skydiving until your 80-something, after all

There was plenty of free beautiful woman distraction last year. Good luck trying to charge. And even if it's not as cold as last year, this would have to be an indoors event if held after dark. I suggest you conduct the match prior to the boogie, as a warm-up for the main event.
