Damn it Ivan! Before this post of yours... those dolphins looked the same! Now I'm like WTF is that!??! lol My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

READ FIRST The following picture was used in a case study on stress level at St. Mary's Hospital. Look at both dolphins jumping out of the water. Both dolphins are identical. The researchers concluded that a person is under stress if he/she finds both dolphins look different. If there are many differences found between both dolphins, it means that the person is experiencing a great amount of stress. So, if you see too many differences between the two dolphins, you are advised to pack your bag, go home immediately and take a rest .(See attached file: stress.jpg) My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

None of what you posted changed my statement. The Iraqiis are allowed to own a wide variety of handguns and long guns, like semi-auto AK-type rifles, in their homes. OMFG I can't believe it... you didn't read it AGAIN??! What I posted, was proof that they are NOT! Is the AK automoatic? What is the diameter of the round in the AK-47? anyone?... anyone? 7.62x39mm "Starting June 1, the people of Iraq will have a 14-day amnesty period to turn in unauthorized weapons to Coalition forces at weapons control points here and throughout the country. Unauthorized weapons are defined as: automatic firearms firing ammunition larger than 7.62mm; machine guns or crew-served weapons; anti-tank weapons; anti-aircraft weapons; indirect fire weapons; all armored vehicles or self-propelled weapons; and high explosives and explosive devices. No one in Iraq, unless authorized, may possess, conceal, hide or bury these weapons. No one can trade, sell, barter, give or exchange automatic or heavy weapons with or to any person who is not an authorized representative of Coalition forces." Now,for the love of the ability to read, do not come back at me telling me Iraqiis are allowed to have these weapons when it is clear that they are not. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Not everyone in the world is as lucky as you are to live in a crime-free area. Don't judge the rest of the world based upon your own little microcosm. John , READ BEFORE YOU POST! especially with such Sarcasm and Belittlement. I should speak eh? lol, was it the double-negative that threw you? My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Do you remember how "this aspect of the conversation" started? I've just recapped it for you... It makes perfect sense. A question was asked of you but before you answered, you asked for proof... do you care to answer now or is it: [covers ears] lalalalalalalalalal! [/covers ears] My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Got to love this We ask: "If guns are mandatory to overthrow a possible future villainous leader, then why take them away from people we are presently trying to free from a villainous leader?" You say: "Prove it!" I prove it and you say: "Ok....the rules are different in Iraq. So what? It's a freakin' war zone for crying out loud. The contrast is invalid" Thanks Philly, I wish you had of told me you didn't care either way... I wouldn't have bothered. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

I know Philly, I saw the NRA recruitment vedios too. Do I agree with these tactics? No. But it isn't the same and you Americans ARE presently allowed to own and carry guns. Stop bickering about which ones you can have and which ones you can't and notice that in Iraq right now, people are NOT allowed to carry. You ask me how the rules are different and I showed you. It doesn't say they must register this... then wait and some of 'em get taken away. It says unauthorised weapons must be handed in. It also says that you cannot carry the authorised weapons around. They must remain in your place of business or in your home. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

So, he's a hypocrite? Considering his media based documentary also seems to try to imply that gun murders are commonplace. Wrong. Moore is pissed that the media makes violence in general commonplace. That's why he walked down that "dangerous" L.A. street, that's why he says "This is where all the murders take place?" almost laughing at the fact that you always hear about shooting on that very corner. He's pointing out the fact that murder IS sensationalised... to the point where it almost perpetuates itself through desensitisation and fear. Does everybody remember that scene? Moore himself notes that the damn smog kills more people than people do. Nowhere does he say that gun murders are commonplace. He merely wants to know why there are so many more (percentage wise) in the US? There's a reason he goes to see Heston near the end of the movie. Because there is no doubt that a lot of people simply blame guns for gun violence... Thusly, a lot of people blame the NRA for high gun crimes. I'm pretty sure the NRA is aware of this... You'd think their Spokesperson would therefore have some sort of answer. But no! When asked why he thought more Americans kill eachother each year that any others on the globe, Heston fumbles with multiculturalism? (BTW, Canada is a LOT more diversified... Toronto is the most multy-cultural city in the world) Each person that simply throws his/her hands in the air and says "Hey! It's not my fault!" contributes to the problem. John, I was asked by Philly to specify how the U.S. is imposing harder gun laws on the Iraqi people then in there own Country (was Skydekkers argument). Philly narrowed it down to specify New Jersey, or NYC, or Illinois, or California (kinda tricky of him as I don't particularily think these 4 of 50 states would make up an 'average' depiction of American gun law but I took a crack at it) Read This. But don't just skim over it like you did the last links I posted on the subject. Since I can't count on you to do that: "Thirty-two states, including every state bordering Ohio, have concealed-weapon licensing statutes that require the issuance of a carry permit to citizens who undergo a background check and meet certain objective criteria... Nearly all of those states have enacted the "shall issue" licensing systems since 1987. Eleven states, including California and New York, still have the older, discretionary-licensing statutes. They permit the chief of police or a local judge to issue carry permits to persons of "good character" and who have some "good reason" or "proper cause" to carry a gun. In Iraq, there is no provision to carry at all in the gun regulations set forth by U.S since June 1st... from my previous link... the one you've commented on: "Small arms -- including automatic rifles firing ammunition up to 7.62mm, semi-automatic rifles, shotguns, and pistols -- may be possessed in homes and in a place of business. Small arms must remain at these sites and may not be taken out in public." There is clearly a difference John. (sidenote: there are some that are "authorised" to carry guns in Iraq, but those are the guards -U.S.-trained Iraqi guards lack guns After blast at U.N., officers complain they're vulnerable ) This is how I know you didn't read that link... 'cause if you did, you would have read this: "Starting June 1, the people of Iraq will have a 14-day amnesty period to turn in unauthorized weapons to Coalition forces at weapons control points here and throughout the country. Unauthorized weapons are defined as: automatic firearms firing ammunition larger than 7.62mm; machine guns or crew-served weapons; anti-tank weapons; anti-aircraft weapons; indirect fire weapons; all armored vehicles or self-propelled weapons; and high explosives and explosive devices. So then go right ahead. I think ladies should and would be more inclined to beleive/trust a guy who says "Don't worry, I'm on the pill." then the opposite. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Men are very sceptical of taking hormones?? Really? hehe, as if we don't have good cause! hehe. I'd certainly never take it on a regular basis. Of course, I'm of the mind that many different birth control pills on the market change the natural attitude of the woman taking them. The perfect birth control pill for men IMHO, would be a 'day-before' pill? Sorta like how women have the 'morning-after' pill but there'd be a lot less scandal and controversy about killing a bunch of sperm beforehand instead of killin' a fertilized egg later. Jerry, I was going to say "watch it. With a comment like that, you're bound to get shot up full of sarcastic remarks." ... But Mike beat me to the punch with one. I don't think Bowling for Columbine is about banning guns at all. There are the hand gun vs. riffle/shotgun arguments but important points raised include the fact that per person, we have more guns here in Canada. Hand gun regulation is WAAAAAY tighter here but I really don't think that's the reason for the significantly lower gun-crime rate. Guns are merely an instrument of the problem... The problem itself is social in nature, it's desensitisation, it's intolerance hatred and fear, it's Violence in general. Another important issue mentioned by Moore is that nearly every major event in American history is a violent one. People don't shoot eachother Because they HAVE guns, they shoot eachother because that's what they know, that's what they do. There are arguments that Moore thinks the availability of weapons is the problem (regarding, for example, his stand at Wal Mart with the Columbine survivors until Wal Mart caved and decided not to stock a particular round of ammunition). Whereas other viewers may see that Moores point is really that the availability of weapons is a symptom of the problem. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Funny, I've spent 44 years within a couple of hours of Toronto and I can't remember not locking the door before going to bed ever... (unless I was drunk and got home late, and then I usually left it wide open)... Yeah, I don't have too many friends in the city that don't lock their doors at night. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

[looks around nervously] really? Is that what you heard? I guess I'd better fess up and admit that I'm only suggesting many of them joined the NRA to distract DZ.com from this. Anyhoo... My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

You have no basis for this statement! You are propogating unsubstantiated lies! Prove it or stop rewriting history! There is no proof! Just like there's no proof that the NRA wasn't full of Mechanics or Artists or Ballerinas for that matter. I'm simply stating that because the KKK was outlawed in 1871 and that NRA was founded the same year, that members of the Klan would have joined in large numbers. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

I'm the third and newest form of neutral. And that's the "I don't want to vote pro-America because I don't agree with what they are doing globally, but I won't vote anti-America because I don't want to be snatched from my bed one night in the future when the U.S. government has obtained the right to search chatpages/forums for such comments and act on them in their continued war on terror" type. Of course I'm just kidding.. but I wouldn't chose either of those because though I really don't agree with what's going on, I couldn't possibly say that I'm against you. Nobody is without flaw and the United States of America does indeed stand for some beautiful things. my 0.02 CND Nick My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
