Your definitely going to want to go to Mile-Hi. I've never been to the Boulder dz but I never hear anything good about it either. All they have is a Cessna and I doubt loads are very consistent. We've been flying 2 Otters at Mile-Hi all summer and when the one goes back to AZ we still have the addition of a King Air and Cessna. Like he said above, we have quite a few fun jumpers, belly, FF and wingsuiters. Mile-Hi is in Longmont which is also about an hour from the tunnel with no traffic. There's also a newer dz in Fort Morgan which is more like an hour and 45 min from the tunnel, but I'm not even sure they'd be flying out there, plus it's a club as far as I know. Anyway... The SIM, while it has all the necessary content, is one of the most poorly put together manuals I've ever read. Music, airplanes, canyons, parachutes and great people. Wish I would have had more video of the dz grounds, camping area, etc... Hope you enjoy the views. If you've been on the fence about going to this boogie maybe the scenery will give you the push your looking for.

While I agree with the general statements you usually make they tend to be the extreme, "You will die if X, Y, or Z happens", which is fine but most of us know that these things can kill you. Fact is... WE ALL have the opportunity to die in this sport EVERY TIME we jump out of that airplane. We can discuss these subjects or just brush them off with off-topic replies and underhanded comments. This went from legitimate discussion to everything but... Sure... but then we wouldn't be having the discussion about dealing with a snag then would we. People have also had their necks broken by hard openings and heavy camera setups... just like with a snag, those are extreme scenarios. ridestrong, You are probably a really likeable guy in person and would be fun to hang out with after jumping. But during jumping I don't think many people here would want to be around you in the sky. Really. So you think unbuckling your helmet, with a canopy snagged on it, going through freefall, will be easy to unbuckle???? More mid air rigging. Bad idea. Prevention. Good idea. It depends on the system... the snag.... the person.... There are some snag situations were it would be easy and some not so easy. If I have a known horseshoe malfunction that is connected to my helmet cam and going directly over my reserve.. yeah I'm going to try to get my helmet off... even if I have just a few seconds to spare before hard deck, and sure as hell if I have 10-15 seconds to spare... *I am not afraid of dying... 1. You may be able to untangle it. 2. You may be able to remove the helmet and untangle, or cutaway if not a base jump. An extra 10-15 seconds can be quite a bit when trying to sort out a mal. Really? I don't see 10 - 15 seconds as a lot ... especially when you have to deal with unbuckling your helmet that hasn't been fitted with a cutaway system ... Perhaps I'm a slow old lady while all the young cool dudes have super-fast reflexes (i.e. mad skillz ) ... The Town In theaters now... this movie was pretty descent despite having Ben Affleck in it, who turned out to be pretty good. Would liked it if the bank robbery scenes were a bit more elaborate. Good 'shoot out' scenes and really cool shots of Boston. Overall I give it a 'B'... good in the theater. *I am not afraid of dying...
