I know that you can't sign it yourself*** I suppose it depends on the dz, I was at perris for Y2k and hadnt had a sig for over a year, the lady giving us our waiver, checking logbooks and making us watch the video told me to just sign it as it required a sig...... Have you ever seen someone "jinx" themselves into having a reserve ride ? *** Yep, about 4 years ago we were sitting around drinking(go figure) after a night demo and the subject of malfunctions came up and in a very off hand flippant comment said "I sure wish my next mal would be a slow one so I could have time to tell my main to fuck off while I chopped it......... first jump next morning ---> tension knot I learned to be carefull what you wish for.....you sometimes get it Roy They say I suffer from insanity.... The sport bike riders I have a lot of respect for ride very conservatively on public roads, then will push themselves and their bikes on track day at the track*** I agree completely, a buddy I used to race with took his GSXR up to approximately 160 on a public road outside of Yakima Wa. and missed a turn, the turn he missed was 1/4 of a mile higher than the valley floor, his body impacted next to a house and then slid up onto the road, it probably took him 4-5 seconds to hit the ground after he got taken off his bike by the guard rail. his family had him buried in his 1200$ integrated body armor hein gerrick leathers. maybe racing leathers should include one of the following.... a) an intellegence enhancing drugs..... b) a parachute...
