emphasis added...as its one of the fundamental failings in the Xtain religion... why the f&%k would ANYONE possiblly worship a "supreme being" with such petty HUMAN emotions? who plans on living that long? sorry not me.. i've watched enough of my aging relatives lose their minds and their bodies as age overtakes them.. i honestly cant see the point in that last 10 years uselessly hanging on.. when my faculties fail, its time to move on.... in the meantime i can devote my time an energy to a MUCH wider range of people and causes than those who's existence is tied to raising their 'little emperor'.. as a matter of fact. very simple.. if you agree with the outcome, and there is no human agency you can point the finger at, then it's God's doing.. If the outcome doesnt jive with your idea of God (ie God is GOOD) then its Free will and human frailty that caused the 'failure'. Yet somehow its STILL all part of "God's Plan". Which makes you wonder why christians protest anything at all... that is common human social interactions.. strength and comfort in numbers, as if numbers had anything to do with Truth.... that is a fine path for learning about humanity, (religion teaches us more about ourselves than Divinity) IME all that leads to is group think... A part of the reason is the ridiclous rules that ALLOW a male camera flyer on an all female team. Personally I don't think there needs to be a special category of competition just for women because I feel that women can compete in this sport just as well as men. HOWEVER, if there is going to be a WOMEN'S category . . . hey . . . the camera flyer IS part of the team and if it's going to be an all woman team, let's make the teams all women. As for other female camera flyers on DZ.com, have you seen the Jump for the Cause calendar? I could swear there was at least one female camera flyer featured. last time i was in El Mirage CA there was a stack of ancient AA target drones.. they looked to be just short enough to fit in the skyvan. I love this thread! The problem is not the bible. The problem is your poor understanding. What worsens your understanding of the bible is your wish not to understand it. If you understood it, it might make you uncomfortable. actually the problem is Christians "Poor Understanding" of Reality.. they cant take the idea that they ARE NOT the centerpoint of creation..so they retreat into their fictional world where they are... Everything that exists MUST have been created to save them from themselves.. i'm glad that wasnt the policy (was recommended, but i had military staticline experience) when i started.
