this is true however, if you go protest the ticket a 2 mph difference is negligible .. there are no commercially available radar emitters that have so accurate a margin of error. Many officers are well aware of this and so DO offer the lower speed/fine unless your a complete ass about it.... the majority of radar guns are being used outside of spec in the first place, handheld, unstable, moving platform, poor or no calibration, used on a partially masked tgt etc.... but people blindly pay the fines without realizing how they are being fleeced... which of course is good for the income of the county/city/state, but not so good for accurate enforcement or civil rights. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Ironic nature? I didn't catch any irony nor sarcasm in his post. There was a grammatical error or two, but no irony. .....His statement comes off, to me, as just a load of malarkey from a biased source. - exactly my point! You didnt get it, and reacted exactly as i'll bet he was expecting the majority of Bush supporters to act, but obviously a good portion of the readers DID 'get it' and understood his tone... ah. so when your pulled over and you decline to be searched, you must have something to hide because simply allowing the search would be a HUGE plus to you in proving your innocence and getting you on your way in a timely manner.. so much for probable cause, and reason for that matter... he doenst have to, the law does not require it and that is all the reason he needs... everything else is pure conjecture and so completely worthless without substance to back it. do you know much about how the sun really works? neither do the rest of us down here... learning more would have certainly helped us understand how stars form and develop, which in turn helps us understand how the universe formed.... is everything we dont know always a secret?
