I don't see her as good or bad. I see her as sick. yes they would. that kind of corp sabatoge happens everyday... proof is required before action is taken.. i might be suspended while the investigation took place, but i certainly wouldnt be fired outright on simple allegations, particularly those made by an anomous source.. In fact our HR policy has specific provisions for such instances... If the company is operating so 'on the edge' that ALLEGATIONS against an employee are grounds for dismissal, that company likely doesnt have a very long life span to begin with.. the tactics you are describing are FAR to easy to implement and abuse. any company that bows like that needs to reevaluate their business plan and commitment. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

this honestly is one of my biggest gripes... locking a thread that several people may be participating in simply because one or two get into a pissing match give those 'one or two' who are participating in the pissing match (aka trolling) more power than those who are otherwise continuing a reasonably rational discussion.... this is particularly apparent in some of the more volatile threads that are locked as soon as the first few shots are taken by some (me included at times) and prohibits further discussion on that topic... sure you can always start another thread, however the flow of the discussion is lost at that point and many are not inclined to continue it when they feel that it will simply be locked again by more immature behavior.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

by referring to rout platitudes, religion makes it easy for the 'faithful' to defy any attempt at reason, logic or individual rational thought. All arguments can be countered by one or another quote from their religious text... few organized religions promote individual thought, or a personal search for truth, but instead lead their followers down a predefined path without the messy distractions of logic, reason or reality... why are most religious texts so thick? because it makes it easier to find ANY justification for whatever action your church feels is necessary at that point and time..... none of which has ANYTHING to do with 'God' or 'Divinity'.... but (in the case of one religion in particular) when you describe your followers as herd animals and particularly by one of the dumbest herd animals alive, why would you possible wish to encourage them to think for themselves at all? Any questions? check your book. It has all the answers you'll ever need. Still doubt? Ask your religious leader for guidance so they can interpret the book for you. Still doesn’t ‘click’ for you? honestly that is a piss poor business decision. I wouldn’t do any business with a company that rewards dedicated professional service by severing an employee simply on barely substantiated accusations from anyone, particularly if that 'anyone' isnt even a client/ customer and can be shown to have ulterior motives for their baseless claims. if that kind of faithless support is how they generally treat their employees, and is indicative of the overall business attitude of his former employers, he is, in fact better off without them and their customers and clients are better off seeking professional financial advice elsewhere, from someone with a real sense of morals and a substantial backbone. Such a blatant lack of faith and trust only serves to illustrate that, in the end they will bend over for anyone at the slightest pretense.
