BULLSHIT! your the biggest complainer here about it. Everyone else is cool with it in a jovial manner. Your last post says it all. Again, leave the drama at home and bring your ass on the next record attempt. You have to walk the walk before you can talk the talk and be able to fly your slot...on your belly. BTW: on the rules, one only has to be registered on DZ.com. No # ofposts are required Check your history. All the previous records have always had posters on them, and it was part of the record criteria before. Not to get pissy, but I don't care if 400 people register on DZ.com and make a 400 way. If they've never posted then don't call it a DZ.com record. I'm sorry, I thought the records were friendly competition amongst the regular dz.com community. the community is more than the forums... if you want to call it a forum record and require posts feel free... be it the bonfire, the wingsuit forum etc... each one can have their own record if they want... no they were not, they were questioned several times in the initial thread, I made the same argument there that a member is someone who has registered before the record. Posts shouldnt matter at all.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

honestly i think the people who are taking it to seriously are the ones who insist they be able to 'recognize a screen name' for anyone to participate as a 'DZ.com member'. This website has become an amazing source of information for skydivers world wide. Not everyone of them feels the need to publicly participate in the forums, but have still read, learned from, laughed at, or otherwise used the resources (articles, email, pms, classifieds, galleries etc...which btw includes the forums) to become better, safer skydivers. They found it useful enough to take the time to create an account (and if you surf the net actively, how many websites do you really bother to create accounts on??) and register their presence. I have met, chatted with (online and off) bought equipment from, and given rides to many members who have no posts in the forums, that means to me they are not forum members, they are still DZ.com members. If you wanted to have a RW forum record, CRW forum record, or an Instructor forum record etc, I clearly wouldnt qualify as i've never posted there but have still read a good bit of each. but i think that point of having a 'DZ.com record' should be bigger than just the forums... to me that means registered member. btw I'm not on an attempt either as i'm not current enough in skydiving or bellyflying atm really, but isnt the point of big way dives like this to be inclusion not exclusion? ..but i'm not HH, so i guess really, as always its his house. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

That doesn't mean that he has never "lurked" or read the forums without logging on. 3 way ff after a long dive to catch the base, my ditter went off for its first alarm (5000), then immediately started the third (1200) warning i spooked, flipped to track and wacked the base with my foot. as soon as i was tracking off i realized how high we actually were. Fortunately i didnt hit him very hard. Kris is gracious enough to let me play in his S-fly... note to ALL wingsuit pilots Make sure you find Ash and get the wingsuit breif, there are some very specific areas for wingsuits and tracking dives to play and land in... one bird in the wrong place once things get busy and multiple planes are up can slow down/halt the loads and ruin things for everyone... be safe, fly by 'the rules' and we can all have a great boogie... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

better start with the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.... its not required, but it will help it make more sense.. then get on with the Dirk Gently serier (even better as books IMO as everything but SOLATFATF were originally radio plays.. and then "Last Chance to See" Douglas Adams was a great writer...sooo much sub text wrapped in some really amazingly great comedic writing.... you'll never feel the brick... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

your likely one of the few... i thought it was a pretty terrible movie as well... some interesting questions without alot (as in hardly any) evidence for the allegations made, but i think people should at least SEE a film, read a book etc... before they put forth an opinion on it.... christians are notoriously bad about this... protests over movies like Life of Brian, Last Temptation and Dogma are perfect illustrations... far to many people look to their church for their opinions ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
