Hey I just uploaded a couple of vids to skydivingmovies.com (upload section) of what happened in the airshow. Have you ever seen a 727 make a ultra low pass? check it out. I saw it live and it was GREAT! You will also see our jump plane making a low pass. Download the txt for info about the vids. Post your comments. oh yeah the vids are "DHL 727 lowpass - panama airshow 2003.mpg" and "pillan and seneca2 lowpass - panama airshow2003.mpg" and the txt is panama airshow.txt, for some weird reason you can't watch the DHL pass with the windows media player but you can watch it with real player. Nah, I have some spare electric cables I can use as cutaway handle for the professional flamers: J/K HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

To nervous to think better? hey am still a newbie with 81 jumps. Most prolly is that I will keep them but I can't tell for sure, when I get my first cutaway I'll post my reaction. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

I don't like it, after cutting away the first thing I want to do is drop the cutaway handle and grab my reserve metal handle without hesitation and as fast as posible. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

I have a dolphin and I don't like how it looks but here is what I like: -simple design -rigger friendly -a dolphin -cheap -you play with the closing loop and you can fit ALOT of canopies (smallers will make it look uglier but it can still fit) -EXCELLENT customer service, send mine for a repair and I got it back the next day. -if you are buying new you can get it in a week of wait. Please don't jump that thing if it's still loose, I have heard of one terrible accident happen cause of something similar not the same but kinda close (Tom Piras accident). You measure from the start of the line of the closing loop to the start of the loop or the complete line? HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Hiya Bill, looks good the improvement in safety of the skyhook, but you haven't mentioned anything about a 2 out situation or when pulling a reserve when the main is out is a necessity. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Please share a pic of that

thanks, that picture is great. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

just close the container route the bridle and take a pic of it without puting the main pin cover, that should do. Thanks. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

I read the manual a lot of times and it still gives me the chillies to know that I don't have to make the 4 grommets meet, and the way you must pack the bridle... It's BOC. Can you post some picks of how you pack the infinity? My gear is missing one minor important thing (dbag) so I'll tell ya how everything goes after I get it. Everybody in my dropzone got freaked after they read the owner's manual and said that last grommet must not meet the others. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

My rigger kinda told me that he is going to give me free training because he needs help and I am the only one interested in rigging and we are good friends. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

in the FJC you learn some of the things said here like the 3 basic things on landing: 1- against the wind, 2- feets together and 3- flare at 10 feets high. What we post here are some stuff that others might be missing or the common mistakes that can happen. Example: flare with both hands leveled means that if you have one hand lower than the other one you will be steering the canopy into the direction of the lower hand. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Try painting all the trees with a white line 10 feet high, that way you will know when its 10 feet no matter what tree is next to you. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

How many jumps (terminal or sub) and how many repacks is to much for a reserve life? HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

I think I don't want to land on the spot, I've been landing so many times off spot that if I land on the spot they are going to charge me a case! HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

I jump a spectre and I call it ground hungry too. Drenaline's definition of ground hungry: opening at the same altitude and almost at the same place than the one jumping the stilleto with higher wingloading and the other one jumping the sabre and not been able to make it back to the spot while they made it back and laughed at me. I might be a bad canopy pilot or the spectre is a ground hungry canopy. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

I've been jumping my spectre since student status, went from a PD 230 to a spectre and I love it, that thing forgives almost any packing (even my last one that the tail only had two soft rolls, if it would of been a sabre I would of been in the hospital making xray of my injured spine), its also easier to pack 7 cells than to pack 9 cells and if you are interested for CReW you can use it. Hiya Pammi, just saw your video, great trees in the landing area (I would of landed on top of some of those trees ). Here is my non expert opinion, I only have 81 jumps, USPA B license, read to much and analize as much as I can but am still a newbie. First thing I see interesting is the one feet then other feet touchdown, try to land with both feets together just like student days (lets prevent an injury and also by doing both feets together you kinda prevent a harness input), don't use your right arm to stop your fall, you can get it broken or injured, PLF if you didn't got the stand up landing. Or start by sliding your feets and end up sliding your butt. What Samurai said about the early flare sounds kinda correct, you are flaring very high, maybe you can try a two stage flare (remember am no expert but just giving my very personal non expert opinion) or start your flare a bit lower like samurai told you in a previous post. Michele gave you one of the best advices and is to practice the flare up high, make your 3 leg entry up high (from 3000 feets to 2000 feets) and look how low you need to take your arms for a flare, if you take them all the way down and the canopy doesnt flares or if it needs for you to take it all the way down for it to flare then you need to shorten those brake lines. Remember Flare is different than stall. I noticed that you collapsed the slider, next time try collapsing it and pulling it down to the back of the neck (before unstowing the toggles you pull the slider down). I am a big believer on making the canopy open and flatten as much as it can that way has a much better performance (of course am a newbie but I sure feel that my canopy respond better when I collapse slider take it down and loosen chest strap, started doing that since jump 36). I noticed the right hand lower than the left hand but from my perspective is not causing you a major problem cause it seems that the difference is kinda low (and again am a newbie) but it sure affects a lil.
