2:2:1 2 FINALLY I made 2 good stable to the prop wash relative wind exits! 2 good jumps, first one we made a 3-way donut, the inter was that everybody did a 360° at the same time and donut again, we had fun, making faces to each other; I was wearing a borrowed jumpsuit with megabooties so I kept side sliding like crazy (i prefer my regular booties); one my team mate had about 1 month without jumping so you can imagine his 360 it was side sliding; the other one was the instructor and he kept playing catch, catch me drag me all the way to other one to make the donut, 360° catch the other one and bring it near me to make the donut I think he was the one flying us, it was fun. The second jump was a 2 way RW 45° left catch right hand grip (dunno how it is called), 90° right catch hand left hand grip, star, 90° left compressed accordion, star and 90° right compressed accordion. My team mate was heavier, my back still hurts from the arching and my movements were stupid, slow if i made them (megabooties and arching my back in excess). 1 case, finally I could make good exits, no more funnels and crappy exits. After I wrote this I thought it was a good idea to change the topic a litle for me. I think the year was 1991 or 1990 I had 10 years of age, went to the dropzone thinking that my neighbor was going to be flying his R/C planes and when I arrived I saw him in a car with a twisted ankle, asked him why and he told me cause he made his first jump, that same day talked to the instructor and he told me I had to wait until I was 16. The year 1997 came I was 16 and my dad told me that I would never going to do anything dangerous including everything, after a car crash (dad driving going to school, I always knew school was evil ) I almost broke my neck and it made me realize that life is short and random, I will never going to know when I am leaving so I should live extreme and try everything (if you think gay, you go to far). Had to be in recovery for 2-3 years. 1999, 17 years old I dated my first girlfriend, she didn't like the idea of me jumping and I never tried to find out what to do to jump (we don't have DZ so no phone book, we only had a secret society of skydivers that jumped every sunday ), that happened for 2 years and some months. 2001 I am 19 years old I break up with my gf (best thing to happen to me in my life), all of a sudden I recieve a call, it was my godfathers son, a good friend a brother and a man that made his first and only jump on 1991 or 1990 and twisted his ankle, told me that the skydiving instructor was going to talk about skydiving to those who wanted to do it, to be there in his Pilot school at 6p.m. went there and wrote my name on the list for the next class that was one week after. Scared for the jump, I talked some friends into it, convinced a class mate and gave it as a gift to one of my best friends. We took the SL course on a friday night, saturday night I was practicing in my bed my arch, count and emergency procedures and my best friend in the couch doing the same. Sunday arrived it was jump day, at the dropzone at 8 am my dad came with me, first time that my dad has ever gone to a place were I do a sport (my dad is the best dad in the world but for some reason he never showed at my taekwondo practice, tennis, soccer, hapkido). First load landed, plane lands (cessna 172) and guess who was the jumppilot, yep the same man that twisted his ankle my friend and brother, he was going to be my jump pilot, cool. My best friend goes first, damn he really did it, didn't backed out that means it was my time and I couldn't back out. Time to go and be on the step, look inside "GIANNI ARE YOU READY?" the ride was fun let me feel the wind in the step, felt nice, then I remembered I was going to skydive, JM asked "NICE RIDE HUH? SO GIANNI ARE YOU READY?" I answered "UH HUH!", JM: "JUMP!", me:"SEX!!!", me again "wow feels great, mmm.. oh yeah I had to count lemme see, right 7 thousand" (of course canopy was already opened). Followed the radio, did everything backwards, instructor:"Left!" me:"huh? right? ok", then did it all by myself with no radio help (I kept confusing the instructions and it was hard to hear) until landed, nice flare but was scared and I presented my butt to the relative land . WOOHOO!! best day of my life! After that I kept jumping alot and one of the reasons is cause my dad likes to go and see me, and it has only happened in skydiving. I LOVE THE SPORT!!!!! Thanks for the help, I have a clearer mind now, I have to shoot the woman! J/K We only have one skydiving club in Panama and dropzone wich is owned by the club. I could direct her to the other man that gives course but I would be sending her to the slaughter and that would make me feel guilty as hell. Slaughter cause that other man has less than 200 jumps and calls himself instructor... I have reasons to believe that its bullshit as it is with the rest of her life, since she is a big time lier she might be doing this to see if she can it still piss me off, at least she's been trying to do that since the day we broke up about 1 year and 9 months ago (I think) and I coulnd't care less. Knowing her the way I know and she knowing me how I am I think most probably she will not send me the email because of pride (right now she must be thinking about how rude it was for me to write her the "send me email gotta go" must of sound). Hi all, I need your opinion on something... 4 hours ago my ex gf was trying to chat with me (I can't stand her, will tell ya why later) and the only thing she said after the Hello was "what is your job in skydiving here?" I told her I was the association vocal and then she asked "I want to jump and a friend, too." the only fast answer I could think of was "tell him to email me, cause am leaving cya" Now here is the deal what should I do? since we are a skydiving club and you can't find the phone number in the phone book and people never know when we jump cause we do manifest by email, should I give her the instructors phone number or should I make her find the number in another way? Why I can't stand her: the reason we broke up was because I was tired of her lies (in a 2 hours conversation she has lied 1 hour and 59 minutes), She lied about everything and when I say everything I mean everything yep use your imagination (if you think gay you go to far but the rest is true, sometimes I thought the hello was a lie), she started dating her actual bf before we broke up and even lied about that, after we broke up everybody told me that I wasn't jealous and that everything I thought I knew was really true not a figure of my imagination, she or her mother were telling other people that I broke up with her because I wanted to party and she didnt (which of course was a lie, she broke up with me after I got the proof of her having 2 bf, she broke up with me before i did damn) in summary she hurt me a lot, but now that I realised it thank god we broke up! never been more happy. why does she wants to skydive? can't she stay out of it, I feel sick everytime I see her, knowing what she really is (we were in the bf-gf business for almost 3 years, so I know her alot) knowing that I will talk to a big time lier double crosser, it even makes me think to go to the dz if she goes. I know that am been selfish asking that I am thinking of keeping a person from jumping but man, can't she keep out of this? I like my sports cause it gives me freedom and makes me forget about everything. One of the reasons I made my first jump was because I wanted to be as far of her as possible and the sky was a good place, all alone in freedom and now she wants in, damn. another thing that makes me feel selfish is that we are a small group 24 skydivers and we need to be more, the instructors need the students, who gives me right to not give the info to somebody else? Usually doctors are whuffos and don't have a clue about how the low pressure can affect the eye or what happens in skydiving specially in freefall. That doctor mentioned above might be a good person to ask since he's not a whuffo. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Am not a lawyer but here are my opinions but I had this talk with a good friend who is a profesional photographer That is correct, Michele is the owner of everything that is in the tape (cause she bought ownership, titles and everything if am not mistaken, remembe me no lawyer) but remember that the one who sold the video for 75$ did it with the intention that it was going to use for entertainment and non profit things (in this case ESPN was the one gaining the profit); if the seller knew or thought that the video was going to be used for profit (ESPN, not Michele) he would of sold the video for more than 200$ cause others were going to make money with his work. Good advice, might save you a lot of communication problems but might make some people not liking the idea of having to sign something and end up asking somebody else to film them. Michele can use the videos for anything but she will loose the trust of the cameramen. IMO Jack protected your relation with the camera flyer crew. A camera man told me that if I wanted to use the picture for anything that will give profit to another institution (sponsors) he would have to charge me 150$ for the picture and have them (the people making profit) sign a contract for 6 months of exposure or something like that and after that time they will not be allowed to show the picture if they don't renew the contract and pay more money but if I wanted that picture to hang it in my room he will only charge me 10$. He also explained me that I could use the 10$ picture for the profit stuff cause its my picture but he will loose all trust in me and charge all future pictures for 150$ if he wanted to take them. of course I live in another country so I really dunno 100% if it works the same there.

My jump #2 I was very scared, it was my second S/L jump. Jump #10 I think, when I was about to buy my first piece of equipment the container, I was thinking "will I continue in the sport? or will I chicken out, should I spend that amount of money buying a rig?" I was only scared from monday to saturday midnight, when it was sunday (jumpday) I left all the fear on the house and was scareless on the DZ. Some people said it was anxiety and not fear, who knows. Like Richard said, wingload of 1.4 is not good for beginner, the speed change from the student rig to the 150 will be so big that he might misjudge almost all his landings and might get seriously injured. Happened to me changed from a wingload of 0.8 to 1.2 and biffed my first 10 landings, its not that fun, I started to hate the canopy instead of liking it.
