Remember to always untwist the break lines after every 3 jumps (some say to do it after each jump, but it kinda takes to much time when you are working fast). Make sure you don't have any canopy fabric between the ring and the grommet in the D-bag (where the pilot chute connects) that can burn your canopy when you open. Don't let people smoke near your canopy. Don't psycho pack, I heard it shortens the life of your canopy. Sun (UV rays) kills the fabric so make sure that you go to a shade as soon as you land. And just in case, remember Velcro kills so always make sure that your velcro (if you have velcro) are not exposed to the lines. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

If you can, go to a wind tunnel. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Not quite, colors don't have to do about canopy skills, maybe if you post the canopy colors in the canopy controll and swoop forum you will get more answers about it, mm... maybe I could be wrong and colors can make you a better pilot, but don't really think so. Remember to read all the posts, you must of missed the post where I said smooth. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Hi Bill, Am with the vote that they should leave the sport for 18 years and older people, there is too much responsability in this sport and not all the minors have a clue about that, almost all of them want to jump cause they want to show off. I know lots of minor ages that want to do skydiving cause they are depressed or just want to show off and that kind of attitude can get them hurt. If they really like the sport they will do like most of us did, wait till we have enough age to do it and pay our sport and there will be no mommy or daddy to do a law suit. Here is my list: clothes: One of my 6 years old Local Motion shorts, my club Panama FreeFall t-shirt, Scorpion Bay t-shirt or a HIC (Hawaiian Island Creation) T-shirt, any white socks I can find, vans shoes. Oh yeah and my boxers. When I go for RW I wear my pit special with hook knife and mizuno baseball gloves. We don't get cold weather, only rain and heat. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

no round? Oh man! Ok now to get serious, The best advice you can get for a new canopy will be from your instructors cause they now how you fly, how you land/flare and they know what is dangerous for a newbie or just off student status and they know what wingload will be good for you. Here you will find 50-50, one will say go for the elliptic, others will say go for the square and others will say go for the semi elliptic (7 cells). canopies that are usually recommended for newbies are: PD Spectre, PD sabre, PD sabre 2, PA falcon, and some others that can't remember, check the gear reviews and you will get very usefull info (how they open, how they fly, why the owners likes it etc). Good luck on your new canopy. Just in case: its not a flame or anything like that, just the best advice I can give.

OK 3 questions, 1- are your co-workers skydivers? 2- do they know you are going to the WFFC? 3- are you sure they are only going to throw things at you? ADVICE: when you go back be sure to be wearing your full face helmet HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Ask a rigger to teach you. That way you can learn about the A, B, C and D lines and the controll lines and how to untwist them etc... You can go to the http://www.performancedesigns.com and download the ram air parachute manual (there is one that is called the reserve propack, don't download that one, download the ram air one) the final pages have the propack instruction. Good luck on the ZP. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Hi Gale, my 2 cents are: wear your goggles in a position were you can put them on real fast, practice on the ground where you can wear them to put them on faster. The only thing that will be a problem is if you are sitting by the door and you fall, for that close one eye (can't remember wich one is the one you have to close, left brain right brain theory) and pull when clear of the tail, that way you will save one lense. About the emergency procedures, in my dropzone is if you are lower than 1000 you stay in the plane, between 1000 feets and 2000 feets you go for the reserve, between 2000 and 3000 you pull, higher than 3000 you arch and then pull. I think those are the numbers, gonna ask again to see if am still right. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
