Cool story! sooo how many days did it took the DZ staff to stop laughing at that? good thing everything turned out ok. I heard of a student that got line twist or started spinning and fainted, they tried screaming at her with the radio but it was a no good, she biffed, woke up and started walking as if nothing had happened. The big 230 made his job! HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

I give SCUBA diving assistance and I tell others "if you feel to cold, you should use a jumpsuit" after I see theyr big ¿? I remember that its not called jumpsuit its called wetsuit. I also tell them to check out if the harness (BCD) fits or tight the harness straps and again after I see the BIG ¿? I remember that its called BC not harness. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

I pray everytime I am on the plane riding to altitude and always thank god for everything and ask for the safety of every skydiver, ask for no accidents on Taxi, take off, ride to altitude, exit, free fall, opening, canopy ride, landing of the skydiver, landing of the plane and for the spectators (no collisions). Not a packer or a rigger but I think you answered your own question, the volume is the same the problem is the air. go to the PIA site and check the size table and see if the size is the same, it doesn't depends much on the fabric it depends on the manufacturer sizing (ie. A factory 150 is not the same size than anothers factory 150). HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

just a thought, to heavy, lack of peripheral view and hard to move the head. I agree with you on what you said about the looks, its better to look bad and be safe than to look good and not be safe. I dunno about this one but if I remember correct the DOT test that they give to helmet is all about crack, they put the helmet in a variety of impacts (at different speeds and they even try to impale the helmet) to see if the helmet cracks, if it cracks its a no good, if it doesnt cracks then its a go. After reading the unconscious tandem passenger it made me wonder: have you ever seen or heard of a unconscious AFF or S/L student? and what you or the instructor did? HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

If you make a search on the forums you will see that alot of people here prefer the bonehead carbon fiber than the z1 kevlar. Carbon Fiber is much more stronger than the Z1 and there has been stories were the Z1 cracks and haven't still heard a story of the bonehead cracking. Hard shell helmets are good for collisions with another jumper, it protects from kicks while doing points or formations, will protect your head if you get a horrible landing, will protect your head if your canopy collapses at final, etc. Make sure you were a strong good non loose helmet. Protects are cheap and good. I prefer bonehead full face cause of the carbon fiber. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

JM like that shouldn't be assigned to first jumpers, they scare them instead of helping. Best thing to do is to file a complaint to the DZO against the JM to see if the JM thinks about and changes his attitude or else get his butt kicked goodbye. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

You are one of the best parents there are, you are teaching him about how to be an adult and you are doing in a friendly environment. That is the cross that every parent has to carry, because he is your loved one, in the future he will pay you back by doing the same. Good call, involve him in the things that he doesn't takes serious, it is time for him to see the truth of living in a non free world (I personally think its BS that we are living in a free world). Sometimes we have and we do get angry that way others know that they have done wrong. Like one of the posts said, you should try not to scream at him, instead try talking things over, whisper; when you scream at somebody they usually don't listen and say "she's just mad about something I dunno what she was telling, I just let her scream until she got tired and left" but when you talk we go "dude she almost made me cry, I gotta help more" I am not a parent or anything like that, am just a 21 year old kid that still lives in his parents house. We have a law that I can't get kicked out before 25 years old, but I have to be studying (university, school whateva) and follow the house rules. Responsabilities is a thing we fear and the older we get the more we get. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

From the SIM: when a formation skydive turns dangerous? when loosing sight of another jumper. Maintain eye contact all the time. The other posts were very correct, they should know the spot before climbing out, thats why you cut a bit before the spot so that it gives you time to get out. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
