  2. And they say that the skydivers are crazy... That must of hurt!!!! HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  3. Lots of way to prevent that. Concentrate while packing and cock the kill line, cock the kill line again when puting the d-bag inside the container, checking the window after inserting the pin, do a pin check before puting it on and ask another skydiver to give you a pin check before boarding the plane. Just one advice, make sure you remember the color of the line when its cock, and tell the skydiver giving you the pin check, sometimes we don't know what is the color that it is supposed to show. If you pay a packer, you can save some of his work and help prevent that by cocking the kill line yourself. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  4. ahh.. the hung over of it... IS GREAT! People that call others by name (if they are meant in mean way) usually get to nowhere and loose friends. I usually call all my friends by the name of Shithead, asshole, stupid, etc. but its never meant in a bad way, they are my friends and laugh at me and then they call me Chink or chinese. 10. To those who had a reserve ride cause they forgot to cock the kill line, you deserve the reserve ride and the beer and the bottle. Good thing they didn't forget to pull. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  11. I doubt the power tool will do something like that, the tool is a polished slippery metal with no sharp sizes and all round endings, its kinda difficult to cause a nick in the grommet using a tool shaped like that. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  12. If its you are getting the pc new, go for the kill line because eventually you will like one and it works better than the standard pc. I've been using kill line since jump 18 (now am in 56), just make sure to get your pin check and look at the window. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  13. Finally the killing will be over... thats good news for me too. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

  19. Remember that one of the 2 has to be base and make sure not to side slide. What I did was to get a video, it worked good, we fixed the problem and found out who would be better base. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  20. My skydiving club gave me 2 t shirts and 2 polo, bought from Lisa 5 t shirts. My fav. one is the one that says in the back "My drinking club has a skydiving problem" cause its the story of my drinking club. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  21. Today I made some good 2-way that went rough, I entered his burble and hitted his helmet with the chin part of my helmet and good thing I was wearing it cause the blow was very hard. ADVICE: were a full face when doing RW. That stroke would of loosen my jaw. That helmet (bonehead boomerang) is very comfortable and has a lot of holes on the visor so its never to hot, its always nice and the chin strap is excellent. It's one of the best buy I have ever done. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

  24. after opening and controllability check I only have two words I say all the ride down: "Oh shit! oh shit! oh shit! oh shit!" then " going to fast, falling to quickly, WERE IS THE DZ????? oh shit oh shit oh shit". HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  25. Me myself (only have 54 jumps) prefer the wingload of 0.9 and 1, the people here at my dz have been doing that and never gotten hurt. Take the wingload comment with a grain of salt, you better ask you instructor. To calculate wingload you have to be sure to weight yourself with everything on (gear, jumpsuit, shoes, helmet, gloves, altimeter, goggles everything) and to be a litle more conservative weight yourself after eating and wearing all the above.
