The mainframe guys were doing something. I've got the project plan around here somewhere. In all honesty, I have no clue what they were doing. I was just told I had to be here in case it affected the network side of everything. So far today, I've accomplished 1. 6 new high games of DX Ball (kind of like breakout) 2. Researched activities for vacation starting Saturday 3. Made the list of things to remember to do before leaving 4. DZ.com forums - given. 5. debated on ordering lunch and a few other misc. things. Being in Colorado is kinda a bit tough to get around on the boogie circuit. The WFFC is generally it for me unless something happens local here. My parents are 45 minutes away too so it eliminates the annual trek home to visit too. I may try to hit the HMB next year. I'd assume that some of the brothers would hook me up with a ride from the airport or what not. This time next week I'll be sitting on the beaches of Maui trying to figure out how to abscond a rig and make a skydive...The bummer of the trip was the debate on bringing the two sets of scuba gear (Tracy's gear too) and my rig or just the scuba gear. Just the scuba gear won out. Didn't want to drag a bunch of crap through a couple airports. ----- ~~~Michael

I'm calling BS on that one. Most women I've met like that little punk badass who treats them like sh!t. They say they like one thing and go for/home with another. Nice guys finish DEAD LAST. Ladies/Gents, if you belive that they don't, you're deluding yourself. It looks like this: Nice guys= a Chevy Cavalier--reliable & kinda fun. Bad Boys= a Convertible Ferrari--what women seem to want in their 20s/early 30's. So why should nice guys even want to associate with these women, as they're "settling" with the nice guy, when they lust for the bad boy? As I said earlier, let Karma take care of things: Let them party/bang the bad boy--they'll get what they deserve, i.e. used and discarded/a disease, and then when they are looking for the nice guy, the nice guy can say "no thanks- I'm not going to be what you 'settle' for." Quote I'll agree with most of what you have here and say that there are some women that I've dated that left me for the badass/dipshit with no direction other than starting fights and treating the ex's ultimately like shit. Ran into an ex a couple years ago when I was home visiting the parents. Ended up having dinner with her and trying to figure out what went wrong. She was being dumb and thought that the guy who treated her like dog food, and the 2 others after that, and the one she married who still treated her the same way as the rest could be changed. WRONG! This is where the beer rules come in to play. If you're going to buy good beer (insert favorite flavor here__________). If you're going to buy piss water (a.k.a. bud, coors, miller, etc.), you're not only not exempt from the 'first case of beer' rule, you've just tacked on the 'first case of bad beer' penalty, for a total of 3 cases that you'll owe. The easiest way to do it is to actually purchase an existing site, hire the existing admin and let it go from there. Building a site can be expensive and time consuming if you don't know what you're doing. I've built two for clients and then turned the keys over to them once it was all set up. Best thing I ever did was install PC Anywhere on the parent's pc. Most of the time anything comes up, I call them back on the cell with my unlimited free long distance and remote to their pc so I can walk them through the process. LD at home is free too for 90 minutes so plenty of time to make the lesson work and it's caused less frustration and headaches. ----- ~~~Michael
