  1. Everytime I see someone who's in less than good shape at the gym I always think 'Good for them, I hope they stick to it'. I've never seen or heard anyone say snide remarks. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I think people are sensitive about stuff and read into things a lot of the time too. I wanted to get in better shape, I went to the gym. It's really that simple. Sorry, but I have no tolerance for 'cry babies' who are too lazy to get off their ass and do something but then cry out what horrible victims they are. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  2. I think what you're missing is that the people in the article are playing THE VICTIM. Seriously, fat or thin I could care less. But don't sit there with McDonalds in one hand and a poor me sign in the other it doesn't fly. Performance Designs Factory Team
  3. bwwaahahahaha Remi is back. Thought I smelled something Performance Designs Factory Team
  4. LOL - I feel much better now. Thanks, I'll be here all week Blues Ian ps: Yeah but you aren't bitching what a victim you are - therein lies the big difference IMO
  5. Pathetic. Yes, lets hold their hands cause they're too lazy or lack self control. It's everyone else fault they're fat couldn't POSSIBLY be the fact that they STUFF THEIR FACES DAY IN AND OUT OMG - these in shape people work out?? HOLY SHIT and there I was thinking it just naturually happened. Of course fatty over here doesn't seem to grasp that concept. Now it's the thin peoples fault she doesn't work out. Sure - eat less. Workout more. Take some frigging responsibility for gods sake. Blues, Ian ps: Just replying, not directed at you slappy
  6. You're also a hell of a lot better looking Performance Designs Factory Team
  7. LOL - yeah. Not sure who Don is but I hear Bill has an obscene amount of skydives! But back on topic, it's only skydiving, no amount of experience or jump numbers should make anyone 'better' (not talking skill here) than anyone else. Blues! Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

  9. I agree, and it isn't a good term (least not in my book, nor the people I know). Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  10. There, sig line fixed I always have a choice, that's the beauty of not working for a dz Performance Designs Factory Team
  11. Errr no. I think it was Casie or Kristen. Either way I'll have nothing to do with any event named after you Performance Designs Factory Team
  12. We had prize money too. It wasn't much (hell of a lot better than nothing!) but winner got $100, 2nd $60 and 3rd $25. Regional organizer took some of the reg fees to cover costs of equipment which is pretty standard. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  13. heheh - I'm kinda fond of the hairy firetruck!! That site is a riot
  14. Probably a repost, but in the spirit of this
  15. Hi All, I just got the email Jonathan is referring to. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused any of you. SDA will announce the new jump all you can weekend dates as soon as they are finalized. Blues! Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  16. Higher airspeed = more flappage. More flappage = more friction. More friction = greater line shrinkage (spectra). So yes, he's right they will shrink, and yes you're wrong they won't melt Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  17. Awesome. 8-14 mph winds definitely make ZA a PITA, at least with distance pretty much everyone is penalized equally so at least that balances it out, but having to do the gates on ZA and get through the deadzone in winds can be quite challenging. Congrats to all the competitors (especially first timers), everyone did great
  18. maybe if people stopped worrying about a 'label' we'd get something more useful done. Call me what you want, my reaction to a word gives it power. Not the word itself. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  19. You are a cruel, cruel man Performance Designs Factory Team
  20. 1700. Fly a Velocity 90 2.1+ Hurt myself under an elliptical 135 when I was way too inexperienced for the canopy. Prefer to do HP landings whenever possible but am not shy to do a straight in approach if necessary. Every so often I'll change my approach to straight in approach, a 90, a 180, 270, 360, 450, etc. I believe versitility and being able to land my canopy in a variety of configurations and speed is essential. 21. DOH! I didn't notice the end of the month release date. CRAP! hehe, oh well, guess I'll just have to be patient. Performance Designs Factory Team
  22. Sweet! Ok, so has anyone gotten theirs yet? I'm just about creaming myself in anticipation here
  23. Hi there! I lived in Providence and then North Attleboro until recently. Your only options (Boston Providence is a tandem factory still I believe) are Jumptown MA (my fav), CPI in CT, Pepperal MA or Skydive New England ME Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  24. Cool, hopefully he'll post it, or drop it to me in a PM. That is a piece of news I love to hear. It's always good to see someone out there showing that you don't need a x-brace to win. Blues! Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
