Well from the article and from my own experience these women are under intense pressure to be bone thin and that's not healthy. In a very strange and some what odd way I recall reading an article a year or so back that Victoria Secret Models were healthier with respect to BMI than some of the girls in fashion week. I've dated size 0 and 00 girls, i suspect one had an eating disorder, was not fun....to stressful for me always worrying they were ok and eating enough. Furthermore I agree 100% to the article point regarding age minimum. I would even argue it should be 18 but that's just me. There are as of today...no joke TODAY! 15 empty units. They sit on the market for a solid 12 months before they are sold. It is in your best interest to have these units filled......sold off....taken off the market. For the longer they are on the market the lower their sale value will go and the lower your property value will go! See where I'm coming from? It takes a twisted mind to argue that people who have completely paid off their properties have no skin in the game. They don't care about their property value...they are going to die sooner rather than later. I on the other hand have a long life to live and care to enjoy it away from them. tmccann 5 years ago it was a viable option. It was her and I and we had a savings of all of $20k. The first time home buyer option of only 3% down was not available or we did not qualify. I'm sorry I don't recall at the moment. It was an emotional decision for another person. Funny part was that when we first bid on the condo we were out bid by a solid $30k. thank god we didn't fight that....and the price fell back and now I'm only under $100k in 5 years, of which according to the appraisal a good $50k of that loss is due to the vast number of vacant units. And per talking to my accountant and lawyer I am stuck....but it is what it is....that said there is no need for the old fucks to discriminate like this. You make $100k, you pay $2k in rent, you pay for heat and hot water....and save $40k to put down on a POS property.....hum......let me think about it....NO. From what the NPR article stated people who were in the process of "renegotiating" their loans based on what the banks had told them to do (in this case stop paying for a month or two) were also foreclosed on in an improper manner. Also there were a good number of folks who were paying their loans and still were foreclosed on. As for "why" a bank would wish to own a given property which they would sell at a loss? What worries me and please correct me if I'm reading this incorrectly but by the attorney generals signing this agreement with the banks that the banks can no longer be perused by the individuals in cases where the bank clearly made egregious errors in paper processing of those who's loans were in good standing.
