Ummmm yeahhhhh, we're going to go ahead and move you to the basement. Well I run from the top floor to the basement and back...... From where management throws engineers to where those smart enough to not become engineers work. Look i do hate to say it but.....in the first world engineers get next to no respect. And at first i couldn't understand this until i had to work with them. Watching engineers work is like watching old people have sex, there is lots of moaning and groaning but nothing of any value ever really gets done unless some manager comes over and threatens to fire the lot or export their jobs to China! And it's funny, for in developing countries you really don't see this. Not only are engineers seen as pillars of the community mentioned in the same breath as doctors and lawyers but they also seem to get much more done on next to no resources? Furthermore...I was wrong....the guy just came into work late today and the funk is back...I'm going to have to have a one on one talk with him. And how BO can be treated with modern technology. Went out to CVS for lunch grabbed a few bottles of Fabreeze. Good question don't have an answer but I've worked in private industry and public US and Europe...and I've noticed one thing...engineering dudes are odd characters and engineering chicks have blown egos. Maybe it's different for chicks than it is for guys? But it's what I see....pants one size too small, no name polo shirt one size too big.....and border line if not full blown Asburgers syndrome and a fear of soap and water....well apparently this new one has some sort of water and soap allergy. That or he has to stop using a curry and butter mix for deodorant. Even my admin asked me if the new guy was "ripe" and if there was anything we could do about it. A bit much don't you think? I liked these because I could also wear them when I went for very very very long rides on the bike and at the time I had just busted my tail bone. Which really helped. Let me put it this way, these odd Italian padded undergarments allow you to do sit ups on hard floors and hot bruise your hips. I was impressed. For me they worked, just a little padding a nice tight fit with lots of air flow. But you do have to rock boxer briefs under them or it gets a bit x rated.
