hmm...I too have read somewhere (I think citizen sleuths also stated that) that the DNA extracted from what Cooper left behind is only a partial profile, surprising considering he left behind quite a few cigarette butts. But then in those days no one knew that one day DNA profiling can also happen and poor storage of a lot of those things is probably why only partial DNA is available. But then as technology goes even that is enough...for someone to be considered I guess that partial should be a complete match at least. So, 1K, you don't think the ciggies got tested? Any thoughts on how and when the ciggies got lost? In 2007, Larry thought they were still around and went looking for them.

Try and find coin wrapper tubes that do NOT have descriptive printing on the outside: https://www.google.com/search?q=coin+wrappers&safe=off&rlz=1C1GGGE_enUS523US532&espv=2&biw=1680&bih=882&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=5hLuVKv0GZCwogTx5YGgDA&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg "excuse me ma'am, I have a bomb here... and yes, those nickels are explosive..." 377 Nickels? I thought Kenny C used quarters! This is how false rumors are started, Three-Seven-Seven.

Hell, why buy piecemeal parts when you can get an entire 727-100? Check out the DELUXE interior! http://www.aso.com/listings/spec/ViewAd.aspx?id=150599&listingType=true&IsInternal=True&pagingNo=1&searchId=16451580&dealerid= Asking $700,000. Pretty low airframe time for an airliner (35,399 TT). Ad doesn't say how many hours until a "C Check" is due. That could cost a huge amount of money, well into six figures. Wonder if Donald Trump still uses a 727 as his biz jet? If Bruce would just perfect his levitation skills he wouldn't need airplanes for air travel, or skydiving for that matter. 377 How about I use my mystical skills to win the Mega Millions Lottery and buy that 727 for ya, and get a C Check upgrade, too! Then we could take Donny T to lunch at the SYC with Sailshaw. As for levitating, I have some concerns - for instance, does it get chilly when you levitate? How about wind chill factorss, or how about rain? Hence, I'm thinking bi-location might be the way to go.... Anyway, I'm content to go zooming around in our Seven-Two--Seven. Could we pick up Tina, too? Just askin'. I bet Billy would wanna talk to me then!!!

I've learned a few things in life from the wise ones who took me under their wing: 1. If it don't fit, get a bigger hammer. 2. All tools can be used as a hammer. If they break, they can be used as a smaller hammer. 3. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I received an interesting email from Moriarty today that contained clips from Seattle Times postings on the T-Day weekend in 1971. One reporter, Ed Wyne (?) interviewed Robert Gregory, aka Mr. Marcelled Hair, Russet Jacket and mid-30's, who told him that he never looked at Cooper until the de-planing was going on. Gregory was up front and looked back at Cooper in the rear of the cabin. Sounds like a lot of info from just a glance. Nevertheless, Uncle Bob's relatives told us in Tacoma that he loved to talk about his skyjacking experience. Funny, too, how the FBI wrote down in their files that Gregory sat next to Cooper in Row 18. Didn't the FBI agents read the morning papers over their coffee and donuts? What are we going to do with these civil servants! Wyne also interview Billy M, who said all he remembers is Tina fixated on That Old Guy. Poor Billy. I know how he feels. We gotta take a road trip to Tina and scratch an itch, if you catch my drift... What is it about Tina? Billy and Me, and remember that Bill Rataczak bought her a bottle of Chanel No. 5 as a thank you for her heroics with DBC. Whew, that girl can really get to a guy......sigh...............

BTW, I just perused the FBI's website on Cooper, and guess what I read: "And what of some of the names pegged as Cooper? None have panned out. Duane Weber, who claimed to be Cooper on his deathbed, was ruled out by DNA testing (we lifted a DNA sample from Cooper’s tie in 2001). Kenneth Christiansen, named in a recent magazine article, didn’t match the physical description and was a skilled paratrooper. Richard McCoy, who died in 1974, also didn’t match the description and was at home the day after the hijacking having Thanksgiving dinner with his family in Utah, an unlikely scenario unless he had help. Yeah. I have seen that entry on Christiansen. It's the one they posted up about him in December 2007...it is a response to the Geoff Gray article...and precedes any real investigation into Christiansen. I didn't even come aboard until early 2009. The FBI entry on Christiansen was already there. Here is my response: Things change. To Bruce Smith: Is this image you require for a Kindle book, or for print use? Big difference in image requirements. I probably have what you need. You will have to give an example of which sketch is named #2, though. I never cataloged them that way. I'm good. I picked up a pix from the PI website. t'anks.

Does anyone have an HD version of Cooper Sketch B with sunglasses. What I got off the FBi site doesn't blow up too good. Working on my final proof....

Bobby! How can you say that??? Jo wants me "strung up by the balls until I squeal." Is that nice? You keep telling me to be nice, remember?
-
That's not what Lee Dormuth told me. He said I would be welcome to c'mon back and talk if I had "anything big to report." Lee had already established his "hard to get" posture before I showed up. He admitted to me on his front doorsteps that a half-dozen journalists were trying to get hold of him. In fact, that's why I was on his front stoop - he had refused to answer any of my emails and letters, so I knocked on his front door.
-
Does this mean you're not going to issue an apology to me? Even if just to show me how it's done?
-
Why do you think I didn't? Do you believe what I have written about Rataczak? If not, why not? Bill Rataczak gave me two completely different and contradictory answers to the FP question in one interview. I find that troubling, especially after answering journalists' questions on the subject for 40 years. You?
-
Regarding apology notes, why don't you send one to me first, and I'll see how you do it. I might learn something!
-
Jo, I have posted Rataczak's comments to me at least a dozen times here? You don't remember? Here's a refresher synopsis: 1. When I asked him where 305 was, Rataczak said, "It's an enigma." 2. Later, R told me that 305 was "east of V-23." 3. I spoke with Rataczak by phone for 70 minutes in 2009. As for Ralph, I spoke with him for 20 minutes at his house in Woodburn in 2011. I have written about the encounter many times. Ralph says that Bill told him 305 was over the Washougal. So, the bigger question is: how come you don't know this stuff? Memory loss? You don't give a shit? What?
-
Do you think Tina opens her mail? Do you think Tina is as upset with me, as you think she is? She hangs up on everyone, no? Lee says he wants nothing to do with her. Why should I apologize? Why are you so upset?
-
Why didn't Kenny call collect?
-
Okay, Jo, I believe you. But how can you be so certain that Bill Rataczak was telling you the truth? We all know that you NEVER lie, but other people do. They also get their facts mixed-up. Any thoughts on why Rataczak told you something different than what he told me? Or Himms?
-
Yikes! Robert Nine-Nine, you got me reading Tosaw, too!!! Yup, your synopsis of Soderlind is what I understand as well. I had forgotten all that stuff. Whew...

And NO SEX! When do we get to the sex stuff????

General Service Announcement A 42 year-old woman died at the Tacoma Narrows Bridge today. Police have ruled the death a suicide. The TN Bridge, a tall span crossing high above a narrow spit of Puget Sound, is a frequently mentioned site of intentional death at the DZ and elsewhere. The Washington State Patrol, the same cops who delivered the front chutes to Sea-Tac, airport, only a few miles away, made the identification of the jumper and notified media. The WSP say the deceased was from Lakewood, WA, and that she left from the eastbound span - the old structure built a long time ago to replace the infamous Galloping Gertie. The original structure collapsed in a storm due to destructive harmonics triggered by the fierce winds believed to have exceeded 100 mph, or 125 knots. The status of her life insurance policy, if she had one, is unknown publicly at this time. Lakewood is also the home of McChord Air Base, now known as Joint Base Lewis McChord, and is known by its acronym, JBLM. McChord is also the home of the F-106s used to trail DB Cooper on his getaway flight 43 years ago.

What do you think Rataczak will say to Robert Nine-Nine? What he told me? What he told Jo? What he told Himmelsbach? What he told Skippy? Or something new? By the way, Bobby, how come you haven't called Rataczak?
-
I may be Cooper Royalty, but you are the Goddess of Cooper World! By the way, if you are not writing a book, why do you post copyright notices on all of your posts? What are you protecting? The truth? Nope - you can't copyright the truth, just like you can't copyright love.
-
Jo, I totally, absolutely BELIEVE you. Kinda. I'm just asking how you know there was a glitch and DB Cooper's getaway flight lost contact with Seattle. Plus, what do you think happened during that glitch? What did the glitch allow to happen?
-
Now we're getting someplace. How do you know the skyjacking was planned? How do you know the redacted transcripts covered a radio communique? Was Duane getting his ground team into place? Wass up?
-
Any suggestions, Bobby, on how I should approach my upcoming interview with Duane Weber? I know you keep telling me to be nicer, but since he's a dead guy I was wondering if I can just be my usual sassy self - ya know, keep the spirits even and loose.
