Update on my assignment from Mrs. Cooper: Just checked my PM from Jo. I was expecting secret instructions, and maybe you were too! To re-cap: However, her PM was mostly a re-statement of her assignment as posted a page ago. But she did say if I found those guys I would be "Top Dog" in Cooper World. I told her I would be thrilled to be Top Dog. Jo also instructed me not to tell the Atlanta ATC boys that I was on assignment from her. I guess there's more hush-hush to come. She also wanted me to flash my Mountain News credentials, but I only do that these days to impress hot babes. Can't say it accomplishes the Real Goals of my Life, but I feel important and that's pretty cool. Anyways, I'll keep y'all posted.

Jo, I suggest that you find the ATC. After all, you are much better at finding people than I am - you found Tina way before I did, and I may not have discovered her at all if it wasn't for you. So, you have an assignment, too! Besides, what would I ask the ATC guy? Why are there redacted portions of the transcripts? Do you think he would know since it was the FBI who did the redacting? Do you know if he knows? If he knows that you know, then it would seem that you are the ideal candidate to talk to him. Not to worry about all caps. Lots of old folks prefer it. The weirdness of PNW weather? On the day of the hijacking, I was living about twenty miles south of the SeaTac Airport. My brother and I also ran the family farm there, so we paid a great deal of attention to the weather. On that particular day, it was mostly misty rain around Seattle, with very light winds. Weather Underground dot com actually shows that at 8PM that evening, precipitation was light and the winds were the lowest they had been all day. Not storm conditions as Ralph Himmelsbach and others at whatever conventions (forty years later) have claimed. The data presented by Weather Underground, which comes from the official records from both PDX (Portland) and Seattle, (SeaTac) are virtually the same. This data is easily found both on NWS sites and Weather Underground. People who claim otherwise, going against the official reports...are not lying. They are simply mistaken. Conditions in the Portland area at 8PM on Hijacking Evening: Pressure: 30.00 and rising for the next two hours, until 10PM. Temperature: 47 degrees Winds: SE at 5MPH Rain: Yes, but only two tenths of an inch for the entire day. Conclusion: Not storm conditions. Okay, but can you explain the following: 1. Bohan says winds gusted up to 60 knots or so, from due south, five minutes after 305 cleared out of the PDX area. 2. Dona Elliott says it was raining sideways that night and she couldn't see across her residential street. 3. Meyer Louie says he was afraid for his life on I-84 driving through the gorge. 4. Amboy resident, Margaret Culp, told me the weather was "terrible" that night. 5. Another woman at the Symposium said the weather was "fierce" as she drove north on I-5 north through Portland. I'm not saying you're wrong or the NWS is incorrect. I'm saying variable conditions are reported in the LZ on the night in question and deserve to be included in our calculations and speculations.

Along those lines, does anyone know the wherefores and the whys concerning Geoffrey's apartment burning down a few years back (2011?) As for Jo and her alleged accident, I know two things for sure: 1. Jo is a terrible driver. One of the worst I've ever seen. 2. Divine intervention is real, and my life has been saved a couple times by the hand of God, or my buddy Ramtha, or my other friends in the unseen. As for terminating Jo with extreme prejudice, I can't believe ANYONE would want to do that, although I suspect a lot of people talk about it............
