    Thanks for the post Steve! I try to teach more advanced skydivers the necessity of taking that "step" in the EP of making sure things are going the way they should and RESPOND to the situation accurately. With an FJC student we have the challenge of making sure there isn't an unintended "dear in the headlights" freeze, but since we should be ever learning in this sport, there is room for additional training along the way. Oh, and I just had lunch, so if you an TK could flirt elsewhere......tell Deb she's still to good for ya. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     Not true. Other manufacturers have built harnesses using the harness ring as a junction for the laterals and MLW. Some change the junction just depending on the size of harness/container combo. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    Because Kim, almost all of the AFF students I've seen injured upon landing did not execute a PLF, and they would have saved them selves much of the injury if they had done so. PLF's do not simply address a Vertical landing, but one with a horizontal component as well. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    It would save real time, and jet fuel but not "Hobbs" time, as the squat switch in the nose gear stops the Hobbs meter when the A/C is on the ground. And I'm comfortable with the margins you've listed. While more runway is better, I feel that distances provided are sufficient. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    Oh man... I'm not on here to just bash a manufacturer, and my previous post asking for a consensus and first hand experience should confirm that. Mirage makes a damn good rig, but many people are having this problem and there are NO POSTS anywhere revolving around this issue. And it is an issue for freeflyers. Maybe it's not an issue for *many* people around the world? ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    I talked to the owners and they were all custom made for them. Also, the rigs that seemed to have the most problems were the fully articulated ones. As was mine. Again, how do you know the rigs were measured right? Who did the measurements? ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
